The plains were bright and sunny, and all life within it was bountiful and happy. The grazers eating their fill, young ones frolicking about in the safety of their herds, and birds chirped merrily as they darted here and there with their loved ones. All life was complete and at peace. Meanwhile, Saria trotted through the woods, following the scent of flowers. How she loved the scent of flowers, and the soft feel of them caressing her fur gently when she would roam through them. After a long trek, the trees began to part, and a great field burst from the opening, filled with life and flowers. Saria jumped and yipped as she ran amongst the fields, spotting a patch of dandelions. Her tail wagged and her eyes lit with life, she charged towards the patch and leaped in head first, throwing herself on the flowers. The dandelions shook and swayed from the force of her landing, and as she rolled in the fields, the dandelion's seeds burst from their parents hold and danced into the wind, filling the air with a soft flutter of snow. She then lay there and watch them float effortlessly in the gentle breeze.

He glared out upon the fields and could see the creatures at play, could smell the flowers in bloom and could see the blasted light that caused his lids to squint almost in pain. It was something that detested him, to see such that was not in disorder as he was. A sneer curled his rusted lips, horrid crimson goo seeping from his very gums and to the ground to pool along the blades of green grasses. The scent of the rancid blood was so putrid, that nearby plants drooped with the lack of fresh air.
A solemn seed had wafted along the breeze and into Yukani's view. He did not move nor stir, all the while his sunken eyes followed each dive and dip of the object that ever neared him. The poor object suddenly drifted too close and Yukani gave a horrid gag as he spat more blood into the puddle now formed upon the ground. The seed was still there, but it would never be able to grow, tainted as it was by the unpure blood of this strange and ominous wolf.

Saria sat up at the sudden scent, she inhaled deeply and cringed slightly at the odor. She shook herself and got up, her eyes and ears surveying the fields, trying to find the source of the smell. Her golden amber eyes settled on the dark figure in the shade, he looked dark and wolf-like. She rose to her feet and padded over to him slowly, her tail wagging slightly as a cheery smile spread on her muzzle. "Hi, how are you? Lovely day is it not?" She continued to advance towards him.

He said nothing, as this stranger approached. Surely, she was a simple fool, to not smell the blood about his being. The stench of his rotten blood as it fell, never stopping in it's flow, onto the shadowed ground into its dark puddle. His eyes, both black in their sockets, widened slightly at her approach, though one kept it's lid partially shut in a quizzical gaze. When she had spoken, his sneer had been replaced with a frown, for usually he was not one to delight in other's company. Now however, he had decided to play a game, a deadly game. His head tilted slightly, while his lips pulled up in a grin that was simply a playful decoration with no real emotion behind the gesture.
"Lovely?" A snort escaped his nostrils, followed by another extra splatter of red liquid. "Hardly know the meaning I do."

Saria noticed the dripping blood, but decided not to bring it up. "Well, if I had to put it another way, it would be a very suitable day perhaps?" She tilted her head to the side and smiled cheerily, still approaching Yukani, she then settled on her haunches a few paces from him. "So, whats your name? Mine is Saria." She wagged her tail and awaited his reply.

He glared at her, the irritation from simply standing in another creature's presence growing stronger by the passing moments. He wondered, curiously, if it were ignorance that kept her where she was, so close to him now that he could see the miniscule pollen clinging to her fur from her earlier prancings through the flowers.
Despite his growing feelings of distaste, he let loose a calm answer.
"Yukani."
His dark orbs quietly began to glow, or at least appear to, as they absorbed the darkness around his sockets. The pupils, if they could be called such, were pinpoints of fuzzy red light trapped in pools of darkness. There was a sickening splat as his paw made a track in the blood by his feet, for he had taken a step closer. His tongue pushed out greedily from between his wet lips, clearing off some of the blood from his fangs as they gave off a dull yellow hue. Seconds after he had licked away the blood, more of the same liquid had already replaced it from an unseen, non-existant wound.
"Suitable...may be just the word." Another splatter was heard as the other paw took a step, followed by the remainder of his feet. He was a head's width from her now and no longer hidden in the surrounding shadows.
"It has been...so long, since I have seen blood not of my own...spill onto the soil."

Saria observed his features, they were certainly different, yet strangely unique to her. "Yukani huh? I like that name." Her tail wagged at the thought, and she noticed him getting closer. A smile crept on her face, she then arched her back and assumed the play pose, wagging her tail. "Hey! I got a good idea, lets race to the dandelions, last one theres a dung beetle!" She laughed and pranced around him and bounded a little ways from him.

He pulled his lips back to show off the yellowed fangs again, covered as they were in his own thick blood. A short, choked sounding bark was released from his vocals, angry eyes by no means showing any emotion or want of play. He gave a sharp snap of his jaws, the crack of bone hitting bone reverberating through the air while he suddenly surged forward.
His blood upon the ground was sprayed in all directions as he twisted his head, writhing and spinning his body in a sudden fit, all the while his fangs sough to rip into nearby tender flesh. It had been far too long indeed that he had looked upon his own blood and so the beastial instincts within him were quickly seizing control.
The nape of his neck was spiked in rage, for he no longer wished to play or be played with. A steady growled purred out from his throat as he stopped, staring with insane intensity at the innocent Saria. His mind had only the rational thoughts left to run through which methods of ripping and tearing would be best for the flesh of the female.

The smile quickly faded from her face as she studied his features, her muscles quickly tensed, and the bristles on her fur stood up. She took one step forward, and then bolted forward. Yelling at the top of her lungs. "Somebody please help me!!!" She ran so fast, her feet barely touched the ground, and she soon tripped over her own paws. She shook her head and her eyes darted to the dark creature. She closed her eyes tight and awaited her fate, hoping so hard to be saved, that her heart hurt to beat.

Ears perked up at the voice, one of distress. The wolf of Youroi blood darted his head to look in the direction of the call for help. He broke into a run, his white fur whipping in the wind, his feet kicking up the flowers of the fields. His eyes filled with rage and hatred, there was evil near the cry for help. His nostrils burned at the putrid odor of the blood the demon wolf had been expelling from its mouth. He reached the point from where the female yelled for help, he jumped in front of her to face the evil wolf. His tail raised in a position of attack, the fur on his spine on end, and a rather loud growl escaped his throat. "You've pick the wrong day to wander these fields, demon!" His lips pulled back to reveal pure white fangs as he snarled and growled. His eyes looked as if a fire was raging inside them, except for his right eye, which had a curious white symbol residing where the pupil should have been.

Yukani glared long and hard the the male, spitting at the ground in response. The grass where his bloodied spit had landed steamed as though it had been burned, yet no flames jumped to life.
"Any day is the same as another..."
Claws dug into the dirt, caressing the soil that pulled up around the tips. Certainly though, this was a...suitable day for him. For surely there would be blood to spill from the two others he stood before.
Yukani made a great leap forward, a blind jump as his mind was clouded with demonic thoughts that would not allow rationallity to take any command. It was a sloppy attack, in lusting for some form of chaotic struggle.

Saria watched in fear as the two males scrapped, she quickly rose to her feet and backed away even further from them. She eyed the male that had sprang fourth to save her, and she felt that she couldn't leave him to face this beast and possibly lose his life for someone he barely knows. She felt like helping him, but she was too afraid to move. she watched helplessly as they battled.

Turgon saw the female backing away out of the corner of his left eye, his good eye. His eye darted back to the demon that was attempting to draw his blood, he tried to dodge the attack, but it still made contact with his shoulder. He lost his balance for a few brief seconds, he regained his balance and lunged for the demon's neck.

The scent of the other's blood had instantly reached his nose the moment it had been drawn. He was so close, he could imagine it's unique, coppery taste from the smell alone; or perhaps it was simply the taste of his own blood. That, on it's own, seemed to have an effect on him, as he smartly pulled away from Turgon's lunge. The dark light that had appeared in his black orbs as pupils, slowly faded, both his eyes reverting back to their natural, pupil-less onix.
Despite the fierce mood hanging about the air, Yukani's temperment had suddenly appeared to have cooled down. Though he was still watching the two wolves with curious intent, willing to draw more blood from either of them. He had managed to draw some from the male...now all that remained was to see the red of the female...then, he could satisfy any further cravings as he desired.

Saria's amber eyes widened in fear as Yukani's eyes settled on her, his black, lifeless eyes sending a chill all the way to her tail tip. Though she was frightened and wanted to flee, her paws anchored her fast where she was. Fear was strong in her, but instinct was stronger, and her instincts told her to remain. Her life was in danger, and when cornered, Saria feels contained, suffocated, scared....and....angry...Anger.....RAGE...the need to be free overrode all other feelings. Suddenly her ears perked out sideways, and she bent her head low, her bristles rose even higher and her tail stood straight out. Her muzzle crinkled, and a low growl rumbled in her throat.
