OoC: Open to all, guys xD
Daylight was dimming, turning into evening, the sun beginning to fall toward the horizon. At the borders of Shinkou Ookami, it gave a slightly red glow over the lands. A very light breeze drifted slowly along, rippling through the grass and other foliage, making a soft rustling sound as the leaves danced. The weather was quite nice, the air warm, as Autumn had not yet cast Summer away. These were the borders... patroled by the many wolves of Shinkou Ookami, and also crossed many a day. Now, it was yet time for two more to stumble on these beautiful lands, and find themselves... home? Perhaps, for the first time in a long time... perhaps.
Four, large white paws tredded along slowly, steadily, yet not tiredly. They carried a young wolfess, no older than two and a half years of age. Her head was round, a long, slightly thick maw, inbetween small and large ears pointed upwards, and led to her long, bushy neck. Her body was round, thinner toward her thighs, her legs long and sturdy. Her tail hung lazily behind her, long and thick with fur. The breeze that drifted rippled through her pelt, which was a rich red, melting down into a creamy white, and then a pure white on her underbelly. Her maw, ear-tips and legs from the knees down consisted of that white, as was the tip of her tail. Slowly her gaze drifted about her, her nose sniffing the air. They were a bold, deep, charming green, full with adventure. At times they changed to brown or hazel, but those were only some of the time. On her left shoulder rested a leaf, bent slightly in a downward position as if being blown by the wind, and specks of cinnamon red on and around it. Of course, it was a mere tatoo, a marking from when she was born. Dangling from her neck was a large, green gem. Silver chains ran through it. This gem... a beryl.
She paused in her step, and turned her head to a small figure that moved at a slightly slower pace beside her. "Well, I think that maybe this might be our chance!" She said excitedly, putting on a smile. She gazed around her briefly, then turned back to the other. "Its a pack! One that I'm sure about. This one's different, I'm sure of it," she said, almost as if to reassure herself. "C'mon, lets not stay at this border, lets go and see about whether or not this is where our new home is going to be or not," she said cheerily. She took in a deep breath, and let out a sigh. This just had to be right... and so, she began moving foward once again. "I hope we meet up with someone else soon..." she murmered. She ruffled large connamon feathers, of great eagle-like wings on her back, rimmed in white.
Beside, or rather a bit behind was yet another wolfess, yet a quite odd one for that. Her rippling pelt was darker than that of the one she followed, a dark red, thick, and soft to the touch. It lead also to a white underbelly, chest, maw, and tip of tail, but she had only the insides of her legs as white, and her foreleft paw. Other than that her pelt was changing hues of a dark red. Her eyes were a deep, dark brown, yet they had something to them that her companion did not. Hate. She flexed and retracted large eagle-like wings, dark red, a maroonish color, rimmed in a dark gray and tipped in black. Upon her right shoulder was a purely white fang, tipped up slightly as if belonging to a wolf about to bite something. Upon her own neck rested a gem, a large, red ruby upon her chest, dangling from chains of a dark red that blend in with the fur around her.
She had a petite, pretty build like her sister's. She had the slender maw, round head, just right ears, long neck, long, round body, slender legs, paws to fit them. Her tail was short, and rather thin. However, what was most different, and odd about her was her size. Yes, she was quite a bit smaller than any average wolf, about half the size. Yet, she was often, too often, underestimated. She scowled, rolling her dark brown eyes. "Yea... I know, that's what cha said about the last who knows how many packs..." she muttered. "I hope you're right, and if you are, I'm finding whoever I can in this pack to join me, and when I do... I'm getting my revenge." She growled with her last words, and hurried to catch up with her sister.
Yes, these two were sisters. Completely alike and completely different, in ways that were hard to say. All that her sister did was shrug, "Vellina, I told you... no more talk of revenge. What happened happened. We couldn't have done anything... there was a reason we weren't in the cave when mo-..." the other paused and choked slightly and then continued, "When what happened happened. There's no going back--" Vellina cut her off. "Káshila... enough already. Lets just go on, and see if this is going to work," came the sharp reply. Káshila sighed, nodding slightly, her eyes once again cheery. "Yes, lets," she said eagerly.

From a hill high above with the setting sun behind him a wolf was staring into the distant horizon. A wolf who’s long hair danced before his eyes as the wind played with them as if to grant him short little peaks as it saw fit. Gray hair with disordered streaks of brown and white. His eyes, a blueish shade of gray, closely observing every detail of the lands before him used every bit of his excellent eyesight. As the wind started to pick up the wolf no longer felt at ease up high where the wind could easily reach him. “I’m going to make my way down from here. My hair is distracting my eyes. I had to stand up on a hill of course.” He laughed to himself. At a snail’s pace he started to descend.
During his descend however his attention was drawn to a pair of wolves far into the distance. “What do we have here?” His eyes focused on his targets and he forgot about everything else. “From the looks of it they’re both females. This is certainly something worth investigating. After all, how often does one encounter two lovely females at once.”
He began to run straight for them, so fast and with all four of his legs of the ground for such lengthy periods of time that he was not entirely unlike an arrow flying through the sky. He passed so close by the largest of the two wolves that their hair shared a swift but gentle touch. Seemingly out of nowhere he chose to come to a complete stop an inch before her nose and his cloaked eyes looking straight into hers. “Hope she can stand a joke or else I’m in for it.” He thought to himself as he anxiously awaited her reaction.
“So how are we doing today?” He inquired.

Káshila gazed about herself in wonder and curiosity. These lands had similarity to all the others she had many a time been through. Didn't all of the lands? But, something was different about this one. There had been something the same about all the others, but this one held an air about it that drew her in, toward it. She could see so much, and yet so little. She felt like a pup discovering the world outside of her cave for the first time again. She was quite enjoying herself, in her own little fantasy world, when suddenly her eyes came to rest upon some hills in the near distance. She grinned slightly to herself. Oh, how she loved hills. They were such fun to play on...
No sooner had she began moving in their dirrection did a blur suddenly move past her, the impact causing a strong wind to ripple all through her fur and she could almost feel the faint, quite gentle touch of another being's fur. She was quite surprised, and didn't really have any idea of how to react. And yet, in another instant a wolf stood before her. She grinned, giggling for a moment, and then managed to pull herself together again. She caught the spark of amusement in his eyes, she was sure. "Oh, quite well... I suppose, and who, may I inquire, asks?" Her hazel eyes danced brightly, she loving to use an odd way of speaking. 'Twas amusing and fun in her eyes.
Vellina bumped into her sister from behind as Káshila suddenly stopped when the male had rushed past her. She hadn't caught herself and had plopped upon her rump. She frowned, standing up once more and taking her place at her sister's side. She briefly looked over the one who had disturbed them, and then smiled slightly to herself, not really caring if anyone noticed. Ah, he seemed perfect, by mere appearance anyway. Perhaps she could convince him to join her in her quest for revenge. Yes, she was still fixed on her idea. She shrugged her thoughts off mentally for a moment, glancing up at Káshila, paying attention to what was going on. Her dark brown eyes suddenly filled with a spark of laughter, although she let nothing emit from her lips.
'Goodness, Káshila, every single time... its always with the way you talk... the problem with my sister is that she has way too much fun in life.' There were times when Vellina could be nice, happy, seemingly good, but those times were rare, or a mere front. She had never been one to simply step foward and say or do something. She had always let Káshila do the talking and such, and she simply stood and had her little thoughts in the background. And so, as usual, she simply stood there, and was curious as to where this encounter between this other wolf and the two of them would lead.

The tallest of the two wolves replied to the question asked in a rather curious manner. “Guess I have an oddball standing before me. Nothing wrong with that, nothing wrong with that at all. A bit of laughter every now and then never hurt anyone. So that’s one oddball and … I wonder what the other one is like. I’ll simply have to find out then, won’t I?”
After hearing the words of the tallest wolfess, the male wolf raised his head slightly as was his custom when observing something more closely. His eyes directed towards the small wolfess whom kept back further and seemed reluctant to take part in any conversation. Slowly he attempted to see anything, anything at all, body language, emotion or even just a slight twitch completely unrelated to anything. But no matter how sharply he looked, no matter how hard he tried she gave nothing away.
Suddenly he realized that he had been staring for quite a while now. Luckily they would not have noticed too badly that he was as his eyes were always covered from the eyes of others due to his lengthy hair. His attention remained focused on the smaller wolfess while he finally replied. “Allright … so …” He uttered, searching his memories to recall the question. “Right, my name. That would be Bayohme, a pleasure to meet you both.” He glanced into the eyes of the larger wolfess. “Well, to meet you in any case.“
His focus then shifted back towards the wolfess of smaller figure. “Let’s see what happens when I try to talk to her directly and provoke her. Maybe take a swing or two while I’m at it and … No, no just provoking her will suffice.” He took a few steps towards the small wolfess in an angry pose trying to look as powerful and dominant as he could make himself, something he was quite accustomed to do, and then asked her “Well then, what about you? You do not think that I am worth wasting breath over? You think you have no need to be polite? Maybe a lesson is in order or maybe you will change your mind and find your manners on your own, either way is fine by me.”

Káshila felt for a bit of time that she had been ignored, entirely. Although she couldn't plainly and clearly see the other's eyes, she had this awkward feeling his attention wasn't all on her. It wasn't that she was the type to demand the attention, she just wasn't all used to it. Her whole life, as she and her sister had traveled from pack to pack after the tragic death of their mother, brother, and pack, she had bravely stepped foward for the best of she and her sister. She had had a few circumstances in the past where they'd run into a wolf more interested in her sister than herself, for reasons she sometimes knew and sometimes did not, but even so, this time it was still a bit of a surprise. However, when he responded, giving her his name she regained her composure and smiled.
"Pleasure to meet you, Bayohme, and thank you, indeed," she said pleasantly, wagging her bushy tail. She opened her mouth to say something else, but closed it in an instant. Yes, it was as she had thought, he was more interested in her sister. Perhaps it was her sister's mystery? Or was it because her sister, though she hated to admit it, was actually what some would call a dark, evil at heart. That meant she was standing before one herself? But she shook such thoughts aside. She shouldn't make judgements or presumtions, but still...
Vellina stared at her sister, Káshila for quite a bit, noticing the different facial expressions she made and only because she had become quite practiced at it did she stiffle the teasing laughs and keep her composure the same. She hardly payed attention to Bayohme, not much caring about him at this point. His first entrance made him seem like the playful type, although she still noticed many things about him. First impression might be alot, but it wasn't everything. She turned her attention back to him, noticing for a moment the awkward silence as they waited on his words in response to Káshila, but that didn't last long. However, his response was a bit... awkward.
She was quite surprised when he turned his attention upon her, and nearly frowned. What the heck was he wanting with her? She watched as he came closer, his demeanor changing, yet neither backed up nor gave any sign of fear. When he spoke, she was hardly offended, or terrified. She made no smirk or look of any sort, simply responded cooly, “Mmm… a lesson? And what makes you think you’re so high and mighty, hmm? You aren’t some alpha of this pack. But… I will have you know, the only one that will be learning any lessons will be you.” One too common mistake of many that met her, was underestimating her for her size. Her voice wasn't loud, or low filled with growls, it was simply cool and calm, she having no need to fire up... yet

Bayohme listened and observed with the utmost attention every aspect of the response he was given. No changes occurred in body language, if any was there to begin with. However, the calm yet fight-spirited words were almost entirely what he had hoped for. It made Bayohme’s appearance change with every word, with every word a smirk formed upon his face that could only be characterized as wicked although he had no ill intend. Bayohme swinged his hair revealing one eye to his company and replied “It would seem that you can speak up after all. Well then, how about showing me some courtesy and introducing yourself. Then we can skip over any lessons in manners. Unless of course you find it more desirable to fight me instead.”
Bayohme allowed his hair to once again inveil his eyes so that his expressions and observations would be hidden from the two wolves before him. Experience had taught him that if a fight might be near you had better be ready. Closely watching for the slightest movement he then turned his eyes back to her sister for a moment. “And I have of course not forgotten about you either. I would like you to inquire about your name as well. I have no doubt you do not mind sharing it with me however as you seem to be much more well-mannered then your … well what relation is there between the two of you?”

Káshila simply watched as the following events unfolded. She was unsure of what to do, for she knew very well that Vellina could handle herself... it was just, she suddenly didn't like this male. He was dark. She could tell it in everything about him. She didn't have anything against darks... her own sister was one, although she herself was only neutral. However, she didn't like where she knew this would be going, or thought anyway. She was almost angered, that no matter what she did Vel just turned her aside and wouldn't give up the idea of revenge. She supposed there was nothing she could do, really, for she had tried everything she knew. She thought for a moment of simply leaving the two, going off by herself, but then again, her sister was her only remaining family. She didn't want to leave.
Suddenly, Bayohme was speaking to her, again. She caught herself and held back a frown and a glare at him. She supposed her name would give no harm... but, if he found out they were sisters... what would he do? Protective instinct took over and she hesitated before responding in a different tone than before. "Káshila... to return the favor of names." Her tone was showing that she was being rather protective and guarded all of a sudden, but it still held her usual 'friendly' tone as well, faintly. She glanced at Vellina, then back at Bayohme. Her sister only gave her a smirk, and a glare of, 'You better tell him...' Reluctantly, she answered the latter question. If he tried anything... they could handle it... right? "We're sisters," she stated.
Vellina noticed the way his smirk grew, and it only brought some joy to her heart. Well then, perhaps she was right after all. Perhaps he really could be one to join her in her quest for revenge. Still.. she wasn't going to go all acting nice and mannerly because of this. That just wasn't her personality. Instead, a smirk grew on her own face, she waiting to answer as her sister spoke. She noticed the way her sister spoke suddenly and couldn't help but glare at Kásh. Oh, why didn't she ever learn? Vel hated it, wondering why her own sister went against her. Couldn't she understand why she wanted revenge so badly? But, she knew better than to try and persuade her sister. They'd both tried to persuade eachother so long it was useless.
But now, it was her turn to speak to Bayohme, and she used the same calm, yet icy tone as before. "Oh, I can speak up. I just don't. There's no point in it. Now... about courtesy... what the hell do you think you're talking about? You showed me none, why do I owe you any? You marching up to me like that trying to make me all intimidated. The only courtesy you get is a snap in the face. Haha, and a fight? Well, that's all on you." She paused, glancing at Káshila once again before turning her attention once more upon Bayohme.
Káshila frowned at Vellina, just as her sister muttered under her breath, "Yea.. sisters... regretably..." Káshila sighed, "Her name is Vellina." Vel glared at her sister, "I can handle myself you know."
OoC: Sorry, that was really bad x.x;

Bayohme first turned his attention towards Vellina. His tone of voice, body language and grimace all spoke out loudly of his discontent. “My actions were perfectly within the boundaries of reason and manners. It was after all you who failed to heath my greeting and reply in a fitting manner. It was you who still persisted to ignore me after I addressed you specifically. I do not think my actions were all that unwarranted. You wronged me and thus I responded in the way I saw fit, you have no right to criticize my manners.”
“Sisters, is it?” At this point every remnant of discontent or hard feelings had slowly faded and the atmosphere became much more relaxed. “The wolves of this pack seem to be every bit as common as all the others. The both of you are probably just a pair of siblings that strayed a ways from the pack to have some fun and a few thrills. You may, of course, correct me if I’m mistaken.”
“I wonder if that means there will no place for me here either.”
Ooc: I'm sorry it took me soooo freakin' long to post this reply but I've been really flooded and that problably won't get any beter soon either. And of course 'cause after all that time you'd expect something worthwhile.

OoC: That's okay ^^ I understand xD At least it didn't die, I'm just glad of that lol But, good luck with all your business. Hope you get all that worked out =) Anyway...
IC:
Káshila sighed faintly, sitting back on her hinds and flicking her tail back and forth now and then idly. She really didn't have much to do at this point. This conversation was drifting into her sister's realm as she sometimes liked to call it. But... she was also becoming a bit uncomfortable. Questions were beginning to rise in her head about these lands. If all the wolves here were like Bayohme, then there wouldn't really be much place for her here... then again he was only the first one she met. She had no idea what sort of wolves were here except for what her nose told her. There were definitely different sorts of wolves... some that weren't even all wolf. She hadn't but heard of lands such as these.. so she decided she mind as well learn more before making any assumptions. She gave Vel a quick glance of, 'Come on, let's hurry this up and not linger here at the border for too long.'
Vellina caught her sister's look, giving her a faint nod of understanding though she kept her attention mostly still on Bayohme. She scowled, "We could go on about this forever. And either way, the both of us have our opinions and that won't change no matter how much convincing either of us do. Unless I am mistaken at how stubborn you actually are. Now tell me, should we just forget the whole first impression of bad manners or are we going to continue this like arguing idiots?" She watched him rather intently, it was up to him what to do now, at least until he replied. She waited patiently, or at least she appeared patient. She felt similar to her sister, except that she wanted to stay here if wolves were like Bayohme. Perhaps she could actually get her revenge here... perhaps her journey would finally end. And anyway... she was curious. She had a gut feeling about her thoughts actually being real.
It was Káshila's turn to take over again... or at least, she jumped in the conversation. At the mention of their being siblings and their intentions, Vellina had started to speak but as usual had been cut off by her sister. Vel was used to it so she didn't protest, simply clamped her mouth and grumbled in her mind. Káshila ignored her sister and spoke, "Hmm, well even if you hadn't given us permission, I still would've corrected you. We are hardly just 'strayed from the pack to enjoy some fun and thrills.' For your information, we were forced to leave by a..." she paused, not really wanting to open up to anybody, trust anybody about her past. In fact, she didn't really like to think of her past at all if she could. But.. she sort of had no choice. "...tragedy," she finished. "And if you think we're like those stupid wolves who run around simply seeking to reek havoc and mischief you're wrong. Our entire pack was destroyed. We're the only survivors..."
How little she knew that they were not the only survivors, and yet that was what it had seemed when they had arrived back at the dens, so she was only speaking truth from her heart. Tears surfaced on the edges of her eyes, yet she forced them back, inwardly scolding herself for showing that in front of an almost stranger. Still, she sighed faintly. "And for you to say that the wolves of this pack are as common as all the others you're probably mistaken. I doubt you've met all the wolves of this pack, I have a feeling its way larger than one can exactly say. In fact, I bet there are only a few wolves who have met every wolf of the pack. And, could you honestly say you've met enough to make your opinion? There are many 'common' wolves, but you should know that differences vary from one to the other." She stopped there, rising to her paws once again and brushing past him. "My sister and I cannot stay here too much longer." She paused, glancing back at him, "If you want to accompany us you can. We're simply going to explore the lands and learn as much as we can. Afterall... we're sort of planning to settle down for once here." She didn't wait for his response, only beckoned to Vel to follow her.
Vellina sighed, not moving from her spot to follow her sister. She gazed at her sister a moment, as if trying to decide on something in her mind. "Káshila... I think we should split." Her sister stopped, glancing back at her both with question and shock. "We're completely different, you and I. I think we both feel the same... about the gut urge that we've finally reached the lands we're going to stay in. So... we should be able to see each other whenever we want to. But... I sort of need to get used to being by myself anyway. So... we should split. Just for a while." She looked at her sister hopefully, and at last Káshila simply sighed, glancing toward the ground. "But..." she bit her lip, thinking, unsure of what to do. She didn't move, didn't say a word. She simply stood there, thinking, waiting, for what she wasn't sure. Vellina watched her expectantly, waiting patiently. Who knew what Káshila would decide. Yet it seemed that it didn't matter. Vel had made up her mind.

With no place in the ongoing conversation between the two sisters Bayohme kept quiet, simply staring in boredom. This sort of thing was not within his realm of interest, never had been. During the entire conversation his mind had become so distant the words no longer made sense.
When a moment of silence fell Bayohme shook his head and declared. “I’m going to leave the both of you to your own little drama here. Quite frankly it bores the hell out of me.” He sighed. “Nothing of interest is going to happen here anymore. I might as well just head further down these lands in hope of something better.”
As Bayohme turned to travel onward he showed the sisters a last token of courtesy. “Thank you for your offer to accompany you but I must decline, I am going to follow my own way. I wouldn’t be up to my own standards however if I did not make a similar offer for you to join me if you would wish to do so. Though no matter what your choice may be. Pleased to have met the both of you.”

Káshila watched Bayohme, hearing his words and saying nothing in return. After a moment, as if waiting for Vel to say something, as her sister might have in this situation, she simply shrugged, "Very well then, perhaps we might meet at a future time."
Vellina glared at her sister, thinking of telling her something then simply shook her head and turned her gaze to the figure of Bayohme leaving. There went one of her hopes for succeeding here... damnit, at this rate she'd never get anywhere with her goal. She sighed very faintly, there wasn't any point in chasing after Bayohme. There was a different importance at hand anyway... "Look, Káshila, I know you don't want to... but we need to. Besides, I need to stop looking to you for about everything. I'm a bit girl. So are you. We can live our own lives. We're completely different." She left at that. There was no more to say. She loved her sister... but... she just knew this land was where they'd both stay. And she wanted to live her own life... learn for herself.
Káshila nodded after a moment. "Fine, I guess you're right. Mother's gone.. its time for both of us to move on and such. I'm not your mother, so do as you wish." She hated the glare Vel gave her at the mention of their mother. She knew her sister actually wasn't going to move on.. she knew her sister's true intent behind this.. but she merely smiled and rose, beginning to walk off. "Well, see you around then." She didn't look back, simply continued on her way.. she knew Vel was doing the same.
OoC: Uhm, end plot ^^ heh...
