Anyone read Dogsbody?

Yes, I just finished the book, and I'd like to discuss it a bit. I found the ending rather sad, not at all what I expected, but in the contrary I knew it was going to happen. It really bummed me out, lol, thought about it for an hour until I fell asleep, and even now I'm still thinking of it!

But, really, if you've reead teh story then c'mere and discuss it!

It's about the denizen of the green eye star of the Sirius Constellation getting tried for murder by the other star spirits, and getting found guilty, then he is charged to be reborn as a dog on earth to find this Tool of the Gods, but is torn between loving his owner or trying to return to being a highly honoured ruler of the Constellation Sirius. I swear it was so very sad at the end! I almost cried.
