Now we are beginning replanting trees because we realize that we need them to re-stabilize the carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere. My statement might not be completely accurate, but its not totally inaccurate either.

Actually they cant prove how long the ozone layer has had a whole in it. If it is infact due to human consumption why is it in the southern hempisphere directly above the ice caps? CFC's are illegal...around the world for that matter. They cant prove how long the hole above the ozone has been there or if it is recent..we didnt even get the technology to look at it until over the past twenty years.
And its proven that because we are cutting trees down isnt affecting the air at all. Its merely the more creation of machines...Its a complicated issue and tree huggers and the media only see the downsides to everything send a massive wave of panic. Look into all the research before facts are being thrown out.

Extensive research huh? *Snorts* Listen I'm open for new ideas. And yes, even if we did not contribute to Global Warming, it would still happen yes. It would just take more time. It has happened before and WILL happen again. Its just that with humans doing what they're doing, they're speeding up the process. Thats all, thats why its such a big deal. Cause when it hits, it'll be fiercer then any the earth has seen in billions of years.
So, as Demin said. Unless you're an expert on this. Which a seriously doubt you are. You cannot just come in and say Global Warming isn't happening, 'cause there is extensive proof that it IS happening.
Thank you =) I never said it wasn't happening, I said it wasn't happening the way we're being taught. Which is true.

Sorry If I jumped on you, Jazzy. I didnt mean to come off as a pain in the ass. It just bugs me because our world is dying and there are a lot of people saying that it isnt happening. Not exactly meaning you though =) I'm no an expert myself, so I probably shouldnt be shooting off my mouth. But we all have our oppinions, and I can appreciate that.
So carry on. I'm butting out of this I think. I become very hot headedly passionate about issues like this. Sometimes past the point of reason >_<

My only problem with arguments are that sometimes, people that argue their side are particularly subjective--meaning that they argue with a biased point of view or "taking place within the mind and modified by individual bias". If you want to win an argument, always be objective. A simple "killing animals is wrong because they deserve to live just like humans" is subjective, because it is a biased feeling, and you'll automatically lose the argument. An objective statement must be unbiased, and based on factual evidence, not theories, and particularly reasonable. You could probably base reasonable cases on theories, but you cannot say that a theory is true.
I don't mean anything by this, but this is what my English teacher taught us, since we're doing argumentative essays. ^^;
