To resolve this matter, one just has to look through a spectroscope, point it at a source of light, and you'll see the three primary colors that make up light (Red, blue, and green) I doubt you'll find the answer for the artistic primary colors in a science book, Kaizoku.
Edit: Wikipedia can't be counted as a credible source of information, Kaizoku. Everything on it is user submitted and easily edited and vandalized.

Yes Kaiz, you're saying LIGHT, but we're talking about artisticly speaking, which are Red, Yellow and Blue. The three colors of light are what help us see the world...I'm talking about the three that mix together to create all other colors of the spectrum.
Red and Green PAINT, INK, DYE do not make yellow Red and Green LIGHT make yellow

And I was simply telling you that what you thought were the primary colors for art were instead the ones for light. Look through a spectroscope, as I said.

Good, well at least that's sorted.
Edit: Actually I originally thought we we're talking about light. Not artistically.

I certainly believe in the existence of other life forms in our universe. I mean, it would be an awfully big waste of space if there weren't any. I'm atheist, but that is not the core reason of why I believe this.

Teehee, I was going to put in my two cents on the color issue, but you've got it resolved. Difference between light and paint, yeah. Also, all the colors on your computer screen are made with combination from Red, Green, and Blue, which is just another way of saying that they're the primary colors of light.
I agree with people say about other life. I mean, sure there might not be life in our solar system or even galaxy, but think of how many galaxies and stars there are out there. Surely there's some other combination. It's just whether or not we'll ever encounter these other life forms, whether those life forms have gotten far enough in their planet's evolution to have intelligent thought (or creative thought, intellect, whatever it is you want to call that special quality that separates humans from animals). Personally, I kind of doubt it. Only if the aliens have way better technology than us, but with where we are now, I don't think we're going to be making any breakthroughs on that subject. I mean, we're still trying to see if Mars has any life at all, and that's just the next planet over!
Actually, in terms of aliens, I always liked to think that aliens like the ones in Animorphs could be possible. I <3 K. A. Applegate. She rocks. But anyway....
I never liked the chicken and egg question, personally. It seems like an oversimplified look on the creationist vs. evolution debate that still rages on. As my beliefs are a kind of weird combination of the two (mostly evolution, but for some reason I still believe in a higher divinity...don't ask, I don't even understand it myself, but it works for me), I never liked to choose between the two. As for that blame road-crossing chicken, well, he can get run over by a car for all I care. Damn chickens shouldn't be crossing roads anyway. Who ever came up with that dumb question, anyhow?
The meaning of life is to discover your own personal purpose. That is to say: everyone's meaning of life is different. Beyond that, I never think about that ever-unanswerable philosophical question. x3

How do we know that the other lifeforms aren't just stupid. There could be like, redneck aliens out there.
But in all seriousness. I usually don't stress to much about the afterlife or space or stuff like that, after all, the more you know, the more you relize you don't know. Still it's fun to search for answers we may never find.
