Silently, bare toes curled and sank into the flesh of moss and dirt surrounding the majestic tree. A pure, and holy place it was...yet twisted with sinister energy as well. A place many would rather not wish to dwell around on a moonless night such as tonight.
The breath of wind that passed should have rustled the leaves clinging to the tree branches above her head, yet not a single one dared move, and despite being the beginning of summer, an eerie chill haunted the base of Hageshii Shizukesa. Ivory fingers trailed up the sides of both arms, as the demon clung to herself in a fight to stay warm. A huff of breath passed her lips, the warmth of condensation freezing instantly and pulled from her mouth in a small visible cloud. Slowly she sank to her knees, amber eyes fearful to what the night would bring about. Lightly her body trembled in remembrance of His touch...a feeling she soon would not forget.
Indeed, Tari had come to hear of the stories the great tree had come to procure. About the saint of a Wolf who protected those that sought out help or guidance...about his sacrifice to contain a creature of foul and horrid intent, to which he managed to be successful. And yet...also failed. All one had to do was visit on a moonless or cloud riddled night, and a being of such nightmarish proportions would surly seek you out. Indeed, he could not harm you physically, but his words could do damage no blade or gun could ever do.
Tari inhaled sharply, her knees quivering as she struggled to stand once more. Slowly, but firmly her fingers slid about the handle of an object placed at her side, withdrawing it so that it's point glinted despite the moonless heavens. Turning about, she faced the tree as though it were her opponent, her stance staggering as she turned, her stomach now visibly heavy with child....HIS children.
...She would destroy them before they had a chance to be birthed. Before they had a chance to spread their vile disease...for Tari had convinced herself of their evil. No good could come from the spawn of a demon and Ghost.
Gritting her teeth, a sob escaped her as her arm held steady above her belly, the glint from the dagger almost malicious as it inched downward. "Your doing the right thing...it's for their own good." she had repeated this phrase over and over to herself nights before...and yet each time....
The blade clattered to the ground before the tip even had a chance to make contact with skin, for a branch of the tree had slyly moved its way down and slapped it from her grasp. Defeated, Tari threw herself to the ground and wept, locks of her golden hair strewn this way and that. She would not be free of this nightmare.

A large, bulky figure treaded softly through the lands, his large white ears perking to the sobbing nearby. His large body was white, dappled with scattered black patterns on his back, his head massive, that held two icy silver bullets for eyes. His massive five foot figure turned in the direction of the crying, treading carefully as to not surprise the creature. Upon turning around the trunk of the tree, he beheld a golden haired demon weeping on the floor. He noticed her bulging belly, and knew she was with young. He stared softly, his eyes gleaming like stars.
"Why do you weep? No creature should ever weep like you do, one of pain and confusion... I am Arzai of Ferzis, and I wish to help you, please tell me what is wrong."
His eyes here gentle and calm, his pose, relaxed and steady. He wished to move closer, but did not want to upset the female. It did feel cold out, and he was worried about her unborn young.

They were almost fearful those chocolate eyes, gentle and understanding. He was confused, his mind an unsteeling jumble, and the voices in his head telling him what to do and when to do it. He could hardly stand the clutter, oh my, Helix was a naturally tidy canine, or at least he supposed he was. Some kind of estranged recollection made him think so. So his skinny, mottled form slunk unseen behind a mask of trees, surprisingly well hidden in the mixture of shadow and light. Brown eyes seeking and worried. Around that spot, the spot where the demon, and the giant beastial creature were gathered. Helix sunk back in the shadows to watch, his breath in his throat. He noted that the she-demon was distressed horribly, kneeling broken beside a sword, weeping, her belly bulging.
In some strange way, Helix's heart went out to her. He hated to see a creature in such stress, but what could he do? He was merely a wanderer, searching for lost dreams and escaped memories. After some time of watching he assessed that maybe it would be safe to appraoch, it hurt him to hear such pain in those sobs. Those giant, rounded ears pon his dome folded back, and lanky limbs moved his bodice in a smooth motion, shoulders rolling with ease. So approached a mottled form through the trees and into a place of demonic holiness. One would have quite surprisingly beheld such a unique creature. A lean, skinny African Wild Dog, his fur mottled brown, white, black and gold, and a sleek bristling crest of fur sliding down his neck from between shell-like ears. As odd and submissive a creature as he was, it was hard not to admire him in the light. Helix swallowed and crept close, keeping in sight of the beast.
"May I be of assistance? I was wandering by anfd I could not help but hear the sound of crying. In such still forests sound carries for miles." He portrayed a genuine worry in his handsome, reflective brown optics, conveying a questioning message through the tilt of his head and the rise of his flared tail. A sudden pain shot through his skull, and something new filtered through. Four seperate minds were striving to break loose.
['It's not your business Helix, get out of here, come on. Best you learn that its best if you just look after yourself.'] cited a rather nasty exsistance. ['I advise you shut your mouth Fuego, you do not rule him...Go ahead Helix, do as you wish here.'] said a more gentle voice.
'You two both be quiet, I'm not in the mood for my own scitzophrenic mind.' Helix winced and shook his head clear.

Pointed fleshy ears twitched softly as nostrils flared silently, picking up both sound and smell of each wolf well before they had even begun to approach her. Stifling her sobs, tear soaked oculars of startling amber reached up to the faces of each wolf in turn, her hair in a disarray of tangles....she had been distraught for more than just this night.
Swallowing hard, she rose to her feet with what dignity she could muster, the folds of white cloth that served as her dress now dingy and raggedly torn on the edges. Unconsciously a smirk applied to the corners of her lips as though two invisible fingers were applying pressure in order to force it there; each wolf expressing their desire to aid her in some way. Yes...they had sharp fangs and claws...perhaps.....
"If you wish to aid me..." She paused, her expression of the utmost sincerity "You must snuff out the life of these parasites living within me." Lightly her hand rounded over the curve of her belly, eyelids closing slowly as she then stretched out her arms, inviting them to come forth and ultimately bring about her and her children's demise. Two unborn twins with a fate now outstretched toward two innocent wolves....and an untold story of fear, horror and destruction looming within the tree just yonder.
A deafening, earsplitting crack resounded from Hageshii Shizukesa, the black scar marks seeming to smolder and wriggle sickeningly against the bold ivory bark. As cold as it had been before, it was nothing to the temperature drop that now occurred around the base of the tree. Frost seized hold of each blade of grass, forming a perfect circle about the roots of the majestic tree. Again it moaned in protest, it's limbs contorting into painful looking shapes and angles...and then all at once it rested peacefully. Yet all was not right with the world.
The scent of iron suddenly became over barring on the back of the placid wind that breezed by, it's invisible tendrils taunting the senses and foreshadowed upon something to come. It would be Helix that the first "raindrop" fell close to, crimson red in hue, like a ruby. Silently it splattered against the ground, fragments of it possibly dabbling Helix paw, should he not waver from his spot. Thus it began...this blood rain trickling down from the heavens one drop at a time, gradually increasing it's numbers by the minute. It wasn't long before Tari's garment was completely stained a disturbing dark red hue.

Arazai stilled, kill her children? He snorted at the thought, obviously there was more going on here than he first assumed. He noticed the other smaller male that stepped in, and acknowledged his desire to help as well. He then turned back the desperate female.
"My lady, please, that sounds insane... Why is it you wish to kill them, I mean, don't you-"
Arazi's ears perked to the shriek, he instinctively jumped in front of the female protectively. His silver eyes shot to around and his bristles began to stand. He did not now what was wrong, but he would not the female be harmed.

The African Wild Dog stuttered back in something close to terror, brown eyes wide. The wolf beside him looked worried, and thus he was too. A searing pain panged his head but he fought it gallantly. The demoness's words had rattled him. She had asked him, actually asked him, a bedraggled, skinny wanderer, a creature not even of these lands, to kill her unborn children, to demolish the seed in her belly, which she quite unfondly referred to as parasites. A shiver ran down Helix's bony spine, the flat plain of his back arching as the ground began to fumble and creak beneath his dainty pads. A cry of terror yelped from an opened muzzle only to be drowned by the shreiks, something unholy and frightening. What was this energy that flowed through the clearing with demonic vehemence? This envloping anger and passionate fury? It called upon a strange part of Helix's mind, and the headache came back, just as his skull gave a terrible throb and the world went silent and black, a fat drop of blood spattered against his paw. And the white fur on his back became streaked with shining gold.
******
Viento opened his eyes, glad to be free, feeling refreshed and awake. But something was amiss, and the warrior found himself pinning large, shell-like ears back agianst his broad skull to the tortured screams that seemed to fill his cranium, smashing into his skull like a blunt axe cleaves a calve's head. The mane down his neck was a rich white color, streaked with gold, standing on end, his eyes just the same, peircing and full of lively spark. The African Wild Dog saw the demoness, saw her covered in blood. His own paw had a spatter of that sickening hot liquid on it, and it near made him wretch. The stuff seemed to burn acidly, yet not break through the flesh.
The wolf whom Viento did not know sprung forward to protect the female, and Viento stayed himself, his face contorting in a snarl. There was anger there, and some kind of fear, but Viento was never one to be ruled by fear. "What magic have you conjured, demoness? What hellish exsistance have you called?!" he demanded, stomping one skinny leg down. All he wanted was to help, yet demons were a crazy breed, not to be trusted. She was off her rocker, and Viento would get to the bottem of this. Gold-streaked orbs flared.
[ooc]- This was one of Helix's sparatic personality switches. He cannot control when they happen, neither can he control which of his four personalities comes out at the time. This is Viento the warrior of the wind.

With arms continually outstretched, tears once more began to flow from her wide open and terrified eyes, attention gathered on the tree. Every small hair on the back of her neck prickled in fear, her entire body trembling as a chill ran down her spine. Heavily her stomach gave a lurch, her sobs minuscule compared to the screech of treebark. It was now raining HIS signature....a blood rain that was said to have been collected from his past victims, their quantities endless like the sea.
With lips trembling, Tari coughed out her words, condensation rising visibly from her mouth as she fell to both knees, her arms still widened to welcome the attack that would apparently not arrive in time. "I....summon.....nothing." vocals were barely above a whisper, her eyes widening even further as she continued to stare at Hageshii Shizukesa. It was hopeless....all was lost.
"What hellish existence have you called?!"
Those words echoed unnaturally within the area, as there was very little for them to bounce back on. Silence was something that those in the area would have most probably preferred to the errie calm of warm, thick, red rain falling and the echo of those words. Tari's sobs became all the stronger as the suspense in the air was so thick one could choke on it.
Then, all at once, Hageshii Shizukesa shuddered, each individual leaf trembling momentarily and then shot straight upward, each one managing to remain attached to the branches. Again it trembled, it's limbs lurching yet again, each one curling into itself as though the tree itself was in immense, searing pain.
The head splitting shrieks returned with a vengeance, louder and more horrible this time. Gradually the black scars along the tree began to squirm and ignite in flame as they moved toward the center of the trunk, creating a crude sort of flame engulfed circle.
Softly....ever so softly, a crude laugh had begun to bubble outward from the tree, the sound causing the very ground to tremble. Slipping from the shadowed hole, the tip of a wing suddenly sprouted, it's texture bat-like and as red as the rain that poured from the heavens. Slowly an ivory hand emerged from the dank depths of what seemed to be hell itself, nails as long as the fingers themselves gracing each fingertip...all of them stained black and slightly red from eons of torture. Muscular in frame, this hellish dark prince materialized before the small gathering, his entire figure littered in scars; both self inflicted and from battle. Stark white hair covered his face down to the tip of his nose, yet remained short in the back, although one got the feeling that perhaps it was best that they couldn't actually aquire a visual of his eyes.
Flexing both wings now, Ghost stood in full glory before the group, a grin pulling seductively at the corners of his lips in response to Tari's cries of anguish and now immense terror. To her and many other creatures, Ghost was the very definition of fear....a title he gladly carried even in "death".
Attention now turned toward the two wolves, his bangs shifting ever so slightly so that a glimpse of red flickered just underneath....a sight that made many a strong stomach lurch with uneasyness. They were scrawny...the both of them, and something that Ghost felt didn't need his direct attention. Rather he approached the demoness, his every step closer to her causing her to wince and cower even further, the smirk on his lips growing in size at the sight of her belly.
"How are MY children?" He inquired slyly, reaching down slowly to drive one long nail directly into her bulging belly...only to withdraw it and show that not a thing had happened. Thus was his curse... his entrapment. To exist without physical contact with those on the living plane of existence...and yet to not be dead himself.

Arazai snarled as he teased the female, he instinctively shot a fireball at him, aiming to hit him. His large body blocking the female.
"What Is your purpose here?! Why do you insist upon tormenting this fragile being?! Have you no dignity or justice?"
Arzai stood tall, his figure towered a little over five feet, and his silver eyes leering the Demon.
"You shall not harm her! I, Arzai of Ferzis, will not allow you to torment this creature! I shall fight you until you decide to leave, or you die. The choice is yours, however, Shall I meet my demise, I will surely come back to Finish you unholy beast!!!"

The warrior's round ears stood tall as satellites, his blood rising to a heated boil, something smouldering deep within his gut as he warched this hellish creature form itself into the atmosphere. So, was this what it was like to face death itself? This smothering stillness that came over the place reminded Viento of the still airs of a graveyard. It was as though a storm were about to break its hellish wrath loose upon this place. Perhaps they had gotten into something a little too big. God dammit Helix, why did you sneak into here. Curiousity killed the African Wild Dog.On the inside the others were fighting as usual, but as soon as Ghost made himself known, a still swept the caverns of the Wild Dog's skull. Even Feugo paused to marvel at this beast of obsidian strength. A fair warning swept across Viento's mind.
['Even I am a cupcake compaired to him, Viento. Watch yourself.'] ['Be careful with my god-damn body....'] ['Hush, I shall do as I can.']
Then the whole scene quieted again, Bosque and Agua quiet as ever, watching through their respective windows at the tale of horror about to unfold. And Viento stood himself tall. Yes he may have been a scrawny bastard, but their was fighting strength there. But something about this demonic exsistance told that fighting would hardly be an option. Even living was far down on the list of things that might happen today. He watched carefully, his whole body seemign to rattle as each step was taken by the ghastly being. He wanted to open his mouth, say something snappy, or noble, but nothing wanted to come out. He felt choked, suffocated by the very presence of this...Ghost. The creature approached the demoness and Viento felt the winds around him stir erraticlly with minor electrical currents. It was something calming to feel the air move again, not to have it unntaural and stuffy in his lungs, almost hot and too heay to breathe in. In a way he was grateful.
He watched the being push a long nail trough her belly and pull it back without a mark. He shivered but a cold and humorless smile spread across that short mugg of his. Mane ruffled and Viento choked a laugh that held nothing but something next to contempt. "You cannot touch the living, can you, wretch?" Oh gods, what were they getting into? He watched as the large wolf creature spoke as if of authority and thought. 'Demons listen not to dominance, friend. Watch you tongue, for your sake and for all of ours.'

Sockets shifted suddenly, and although one might not have been able to physically see his gaze, they sure as hell could feel it. Piercing and horrible, a coldness would seize the body and nothing but the worst possible feelings and memories would be sure to surface. As if all hope was sucked away the very moment Ghost set his sights on you...as though he had already stolen your soul.
Pale flesh seemed to dance as the fiery reds and oranges burst forth and threatened to set him ablaze, the flare casting an odd array of shadows when mixed with the unearthly glow of Hageshii Shizukesa. Rather than stepping aside, the humanoid figure welcomed it with open arms, clawed fingers stretching with anticipation as the ball of fire blasted directly through him...and continued to move well past him. It met it's resting place in a patch of tall grasses, sparking them into a passionate blaze. Wistfully Ghost turned his head to watch...as though disappointed it hadn't struck him. However his lust for pain was remedied as a talon carved it's way into his flesh, his head thrust back as he relished the pain of his own doing. Deeply his nail cut up along the side of his forearm, the skin making a sickening squelching noise as it split open and his blood spurted forth. Shivering with delight, he withdrew the nail, lifting it to his face, his tongue eager to greet it. Fleshy and moist it curled about his finger and lapped at the crimson liquid that dripped freely. It was enough to make any normal person sick.
"Would you like to try again?" His words were mocking and very much amused as his figure slipped forward, bare feet making no indent on the grassy floor as he silently and without hesitation passed directly through Arzai, his head tilting slightly in Tari's direction. In her fear, it had seemed that she had slipped into a vegetative state, her body and functions working as well as they should...yet her mind seemed to have slipped elsewhere. Lightly he reached out a hand as though to touch her face, a twisted smirk curling the edges of his lips. "Oh the things i would do to such a pretty face...." He whispered, yet the manner in which he spoke suggested foul play and provoked rather disturbing images.
Finally he acknowledged the presence of another, his cranium at last settling toward the African wolf dog, blades of his hair lifting as though the wind wished to taunt the poor creature more by granting him the pleasure of laying eyes on the disturbing red oculars of Ghost. Dark red encircled the entirety of the iris, veining out toward the pupil in jagged lines...bloodshot in a way and overlapping a lighter crimson. Perhaps it was not exactly how his eyes looked in appearance, but rather the message he sent out with them. Those eyes had seen horrible things, darker and more disgusting than any creature should ever have the opportunity to envision...and perhaps even more disturbing was the mind behind the eyes, for each horrible act, each unthinkable way he tortured and slew thousands of beings, his mind had wanted, no, had -relished- it to the last drop.
"Define your definition of touch." sneering he began a slow circle about the gathering, most of his attention drawn to Helix's body...there was something to this wolf that apparently sparked Ghost's interest, for it was rare that his attention was held by one thing for lengths at a time...at least in a situation where he could control it. In regards to his comment however, one look at Tari was enough of an explanation....for he had yet to physically touch her in their current meeting, and here she was lost to the lot of them, hidden within the depths of her own mind.
