The hellion watched with a morbid interest, hot fiery liquid bubbling over through a crack that seeped down into the very bones of ancient mother earth. A beat skipped in Blitzkreig's heart. Such power, and all he could was see someone die inside his head. Abid fascination washed over him, his deshelved head cocked with intent as it froze over and turned to stone. Malevolence explained, but he was hardly listening. Just watching what once had been one of the most powerful forces in nature, now solid, and strange. It moulded a musky black, obsidian and twisted, covering delicate flowers in its grasp. Wonder flowed fresh in those tired eyes as he looked back up at the she-wolf. For a moment, they seemed sane. Somewhat.
Even the voice in his head was quiet, in awe no doubt. ['Am not!'] Okay, you couldnt push your wishes too far could you? Inwardly, Blitzkreig sighed, a long, hollow sound that flowed through his tough, lean chest. The black demon curled his tail around his rump, planted his claws deep in the earth and smiled. Insanity seemed to filter away, for these few moments at least. Blitzkreig nodded to her, acknowledged her, then with his mind, he urged it to him. Eyes closed, tight and black lips pursed. Now where could he find some sort of reflective surface, perhaps share his vision with Malevolence. He could at least do such a thing. Orbs snapped open suddenly, ripe red as a fresh wild cherry. He looked down at his paws, well [grrr] me freddy, there lay a glinting peice of glass. It was thin, warm and smooth. Perhaps it had been him who had conjured it, perhaps it had just been the heat of the sun baking little sandy particals in the earth. Either way Blitzkreig was quite pleased with himself.
He smiled. "Magnificent, Mal. Now for my trick. Your powers are quite amazing, really. Now let me share with a you a vision. I dont know if what I see will prove to be true. But I'm sure it shall do." He focused on her now, deep, inside of her, past the formalities of her flesh and bone and into her soul, and suddenly, he saw something there. He faltered. No longer wanted to show her. He wanted to protect her from what he had seen in there. Head went down, dejected and suddenly quite tired and worn looking again. His ratty ears pressed back against his skull, eyes were pleading. "I am sorry, Mal, but I cant do it. Something tells me I musn't"
She really was quite pretty, lovely, the way the sun cast in jagged slants across her black pelt. Even the knobs of her horns, long hacked away seemed to have a property in the attraction that Blitzkreig suddenly felt. Losing all the fight in him, Blitzkreig cast his eyes low and did not feel all that worthy. "Forgive me, it is complicated."
'Strike me now please. I wish not to continue in this crazed life that I have lived. Death has hunted me....it has made my brain and my soul sick of sin.' ['Whats this, Blitzy? Going soft now?'] He did not reply.

He looked so amazed by what she did, and the powers that she displayed. A power that seemed to only be used for destruction and someone liked it. Someone acted like what she could do was worth something. Not even Renkotsu had thought her powers were worth something, had thought that maybe they were amazing. They used natural elements and forced them to twist and turn to her will, Renkotsu had claimed it an act against God to mess with nature, as if their was a god. He had always been like that, telling her not to practice her gift. They loved each other but he didn't love that part of her, and that was enough to settle.
Then there was the glass, which appeared as if out of no where. Had it been there before? Shaking her head and brushing it off she watched him glare with crimson eyes into its smooth surface. He seemed suddenly beaten and afraid of what he'd seen, what had he seen that had suddenly changed his attitude, and was draining to effect her own attitude towards him.
"Don't call me Mal," She hissed with a shake of her well groomed head. Silvery eyes seemed to glare at him with a sudden show of temper. He was telling her by his body language and his sudden lack of confidence that what he'd seen had either frightened him or would frighten her. She wouldn't get scared, she had seen worse things then however she might die. She at one point had been happy to die, and had welcomed it at any point to consume her. In that time she'd seen something scarier then anything human or Godly. She'd seen what lied inside of her at that point.
"Tell me, Blitzkreig," Coming out as a growl she same towards him and glancing into the piece of glass as if she would see something, which wasn't granted. Though she hadn't expected to see anything it would have been nice to have be granted the ability to see her own death. Her body got rigid and tense as he still stood, eyes lowered.
"Get over your own damn fear and tell me how I die, I do not have patience for this."

The male winced at the obvious vehemence that oozed from Malevolence's voice, purely acidic, tearing into his brain, it made him feel terrible. Had Blitzkreig maybe been somewhat on a degree of normal it would not have stung so much, yet in this state of mind it was quite the blow. Exagerated a tenfold by his odd, half a brain. Dont call her, Mal? Had he been doing that? He couldnt really recall. Tail went up and rigid, she seemed desperate, demanding, still Blitzkreig felt drawn to her. He did not move, simply stared at the glass at his feet. Sometimes one could not help it. Sometimes those powers jumped in on him, took hold and took him on a journey he was quite reluctant to experiance. Death was not a thing to be taken lightly, nothing laughable about that. Malevolence wasnt laughing. Neither was he.
Blitzkreig kept his almost submissive pose, shoosing to look at her feet. But he regained some composure, took a deep breath, went to that happy place deep inside his weather-beated eggshell of a skull. As he retreated he felt some confidence come back, then the indifference. What did he have to lose from showing her such a thing. ['Her?'] He bit back an angry snarl, something that rumbled from deep inside his narrow chest, from the tips of his claws, but cut off in the center of his throat. He was angry at himself as he usually was, not at Malevolence.
"If you wish," he sighed, and turned the glass over absently with one paw, observing it's delicate beauty, not that he had any real concept of beauty, well, maybe not till her found a certain someone. He feigned letting his eyes stray upwards. His claws dug into the ground and he stared into the glass, a mental image of Malevolence in his head. He stared deep, past the physical realities of things, deeper still. Swirling color appeared before his eyes, and before Malevolence's too, for he was projecting the image into her mind's eye. Everythign went black, then a slash of light.
There she stood, she was a picture of dismay, beaten and wrecked, her leg was limb and useless, but her mind was not. She faced off with a foe, but it was a foe that Blitzkreig could not decipher in his thoughts, so it just conjured as a mass of sleek shadow, a pair of blue eyes glowing malevolently in the darkness. There was laughing too, unintelligable words and Malevolence grew angry, snarling, slavering. A crack formed in the earth and molten lava gushed forth heavy and deadly. It spun toward the phantom assailent but was banished as quickly as it was conjured. The laughter continued. Malevolence opened her mouth to speak but only a thin spay of blood was emitted. She was dying. The shaodw struck forward, almost snake-like, and one could nearly catch sight of a reptillian, and yet someone canine muzzle. Malevolence tried to move, her injured leg locked up though, and she collapsed. It was too late. Blitzkreig wanted to scream a warning but it all happened too fast, the demon beast swerved and a long jagged bolt of earth jutted up from the ground. Malevolence didnt even have time to howl in pain, she was dead in an instant. The last thing Blitzkreig saw before he blacked out completely was Malevolence, gored by the stone spire, her eyes lifeless, staring skyward, the shadowed demon's laughter as her guts roiled from her body.
'It dosn't have to end this way though.' Was the last thing he projected before he passed out, his energy spent. Physical body simply dropped to the earth and lay still.

Malevolence felt her mind spin as she was pulled into what felt like a dream. A nightmare it turned out, her body tired and torn lay on the ground. She fought against a force while she couldn't see but in the end she was beaten. Beaten in battle, a most gallant dear. What worried her however was that she appeared to still be alone. So she would always be alone, up to her death. Pulled from the night mare she looked Blitzkreig, who had collapsed.
What was wrong with him? Rushing forward she used her muzzle and sniffed him out. The light x shaped scar ran over his misshapen fur as she listened to his heart beat fluttering and misleading. At least he was alive, but he was cold and shaking. Looking up she shook her head laying down next to him. She owed him something for showing her how she would die. She would lay against him and watch around the night to make sure he didn't get hurt or didn't die from exhaustion or from some unknown force.
"Just get your sleep Blitzkreig, when you awake I have quite a few number of questions to ask you." Shaking her head she laid her head on her paws and shifted her back so that those two nubby places in her back where the two strange wings had been cut off. The one stark feathery wing and the dark leathery wing were gone until they grew back slowly once more. Soon she slipped into her own sleep and her body relaxed against his. So much for staying awake to protect him as a way to repay him.

The black brute did not fully awake until late the evening of the very next day. In truth he could have slept much longer to make up for the sleepless weeks he had encountered before now, yet he opened his eyes just before the sun decided it was time to go down, painting blood-crimson across the horizon with streaks of brilliant orange and yellow allong the outter edges. Mercifully enough, Blitzkreif had fallen beneath the spreading branches of an ancient oak, which provided a harty amount of shade over him, keeping him cool through the hot afternoon he had slept through. Orbs, heavy and reluctant flickered open to the brilliant sight of the setting sun. He had encountered many, yet this one seemed somewhat different. Limbs stretched, jaws gaped open in a deep yawn that filled his lungs and inflated his chest. In these movements he felt something brush against him and he froze, suddenly aware of the long, deep breaths, the slow movement up and down.
Head kiltered slightly and looked at Malevolence, the demoness curled about his body almost protectively. He cocked his head, ears went this way and that, as they always did when he was thoughtful. Surprise was in those bright red eyes. He had hardly expected such an act of kindness, from a bitter femme, one who needed no-one at no time. It was strange, strange indeed, yet he accepted it. Sniffing the female's fur lightly he declaired that it was indeed her, not a dream or trick of some sort. The sun had almost set, and the clouds on the horizon had turned a lovely pastel purple, like a bruise spreading across the sky. Carefully, and almost reluctantly, Blitzkreig rose, pleased that he had been plagued by no nightmares that night, not even a dream, just good old deep dark sleep. Careful not to disturb her he hunkered down the slope a little, making sure that Maleviolence was constantly in his line of sight. Dont ask him why, he just did, okay? Mouth was dry, yet his body harly ached anymore.
['Awake are we?'] Blitzkreig settled in some cool grass. 'Indeed I am, you little [grrr]er. The load of help you did for me.' ['No need to get touchy, its not like a voice in your subconcious can do anything anyways, I'm all you....The crazy part of you that is.'] 'Yeah whatever....' ['Why so deep in thought, chum?'] 'It's just....nevermind.' ['That Malevolence character right? Oh my gosh, Blitzy. Do you have a crush?!'] Blitzkreig sputtered. 'What?! NO!!' ['Suuuure....suuuure you dont'] His mind's evil laughter filled him and he closed it off. Closed his eyes. "Shuddup! You've got it all wrong,"he said allowed, then realized this and froze.

A warm breeze swept through bringing black fur to stand on end on her back. Malevolence's white dipped tail began to move slightly in nervous fashion. Warn breezes didn't come over her in her den, usually it was fairly cold in her summer den. It was then it hit her, with a toss of her head upwards a flow of what had happened the day passed blurred her vision. That was when she noticed their was no second heart beat beside her and no warmth was there to greet her. Then it hit her, she'd fallen asleep when she'd meant to stay awake and made sure he didn't get hurt. Where was he anyways? Abnormal panic flashed over her as she quickly rose, just as her senses flowed back in to greet her. Her line of silvery site picked him up in the grass, outlined by the thin silver that was the sun. He seemed to be quite placid sitting there, at least that is what she had assumed at the time being.
"Shuddup! You've got it all wrong,"
It was obvious by his outburst that there he hadn't been so calm, at least not in his own mind conversations. She let out a small chuckle, just loud enough for him to hear in his distance that he'd put between them, not surprised at his out burst anymore. He was crazy, insane, off, however they put it he wasn't all right in the head. She didn't much mind it anymore now that she'd seen what she assumed had driven him to loose his mind. One's mind should be lost when all they saw were how others ended, she know she would have easily lost her strong mind to its clammy grasp.
"I don't think your voices have it wrong considering they are in your own mind." She spoke loudly as she padded softly a few feet before stopped. Damnit, it was her horns again. Being part Hell Hound those annoying horns on her head grew faster then the wings that were supposed to be placed on her back. They were much easier to file down though, she would have to find a smooth rock, or create one, to file them down with. She could already feel a heavier weight and see them out of the corner of her eyes. If she let them grow for another ten days they would twist and turn like Ram's horns and stop at the appropriate length and height, until there she had to deal with her abnormally fast growing horns.
A smile brought to her lips quickly replaced the frown giving it a forced look, as she tore her head side to side looking for something. As soon as she saw the reflective piece of glass her frown crept back onto her maw. Judging by the appearance it shot back at her, those two horns now prodded out a full inch or two longer. It hadn't been a long time she'd slept yet they had taken advantage of her and used her rest to grow even longer as if to a mind of their own. Damn them. She appeared engulfed into her reflection, the reflection she found so distastefully ugly looking though to admit to it would be her final words on this earth.
"Are you feeling better?" She asked half-heartedly not tearing silver eyes away as she turned her face from side to side. The scar on the end of her nose made her angry while her side veiw worked to depress her with that bulge of bone that was about the size of an average human's thumb. How could someone hate their appearence so much that they went through the time and agnoy of fileing them off. "You passed out last night and I couldn't just leave you laying there, I owed you..." Fed up with her appearnce she turned away from it to face him fully, she no longer needed to look at her self in the object just so she could bring down her mood, which wasn't utterly terriable.

Sly eyes sought the ruffled form of Malevolence, looking surprised and embarrased all the same. Had he been completely furless, one would have seen the red creeping up his cheeks and around the base of his ears. He snapped his head back around, pretending to watch the sun set on the verdant horizon. Was it beautiful? Bliztkreig was hardly sure anymore. In this world, many creatures had a crossed vision on what was exactly beautiful, Blitzkreig was one of those creatures. He was a wolf whom had long forgotten the feel of the spring's flowers brushing his face as he ran, or the warmth of another as you snuggle through the frosty nights of winter's cold grasp. Blitzkreig's chest swelled in a sigh, deshelved fur ruffling.
Malevolence spoke and he almost choked on his own spit. So she had overheard him, oh well, why should he care? The brute made a subtle clawing movement at the soft earth and turned his head slightly so he could look at her a little, suddenly becoming quite intranced by the set of knubs sticking from her noble forehead. Horns, oh yes, Blitzkreig had almost forgot about the stubs he had seen before his, his...vision. A change had seemingly come over the bitchy femme, for now she was quite calm, and her voice, her voice had changed. She sat beside him. Asked him if he was feeling better. Okay, this was getting a little weird.
"I am feeling better. But I suppose anything is better then the condition I was in before." He noticed her observing herself in the glass and quickly brushed the peice away. A crooked smile appeared on his muzzle. Bloodshot eyes were earnest. "You look beautiful you know. Horns, scars and all. What your mind tells you about your appearance is biased. What I say is the truth. Afterall, my mind demeans me every day, I should know."
['Yeah, a right ugly bastard you are!'] The voice snickered, but it was fondly.
He was smiling at her, attentions full on her lovely face. Never before had Blitzkreig been able to focus so well on someone. Usually he was all over the place, yelling and skittering and chuckling. Sometimes certain peopel could change you. Odd eh?

Malevolence frowned as he pushed away her piece of glass. She'd been beating her vanity down when he tore it away from her. A smile crossed her face when he spoke to her though. Now how could he know her insecurity about her horns or the scars that decorated her body from her own mutilation. He spoke so freely yet she felt like he spoke only to make her feel better, only to make her feel like she wasn't half as horrible looking as she thought she was.
"Thank you for the compliment but if you are doing it just to make me feel better, it is working." Smiling she shook her head out scratching the horn on her leg once more. It itched so badly when it attempted to grow once more. This took a long sigh to end her mood from its happy one to a more depressing tone.
He seemed so focused on her, she was the center of his attention. This was something that she hadn't really experienced before so now she was stunned by his sudden interest in her. It seemed almost like an attraction. Her head shot up as she looked at him with a sudden realization. Was he attracted to her? Better yet and an easy question to answer. Was she attracted to him? Her mind seemed to spin as she looked at him with her new found ideas.
She got up slowly with a shake her head great black head. Her thin and lanky body moved upwards as she got up. "Oh god I think I might have to go..."

The black brute just kept smiling, hardly noticing that the voice in his head had piped down quite respectfully right then. He just sat and admired her, horns and all. Even then he wondered about her wings, and how gorgious they must have been. He admired every curve and bulge of muscle and her well-deffined facial features. Scars too, which Blitzkreig found to be an odd turn-on in his part. She smiled back, and spoke gently. But her suspicion grew, and the gentle look left those wonderful, silver eyes. Blitzkreig wondered if he had done something wrong by calling her beautiful. For she truely was, in his eyes at least. Some wolves just had a hard time seeing that in themselves he supposed.
Wide, red eyes watched her turn away. She rose, worried and bothered, looking this way and that. Blitzkreig was vexed. Why? 'I think I must go..' Legs bunched, he shot up more quickly then he would have liked and stumbled forward a little, still feeling slightly fatigued and worn. Better none the less, but not by all that much. Eyes became urgent, ears shooting upwards in worry. "Why? Please dont....I have spent too many nights alone. It is because I am crazy, but I am not so crazy when you are around, your influence changes me, and I like that. I like that about you." He looked at his paws, then at her slim body as it tried to trail away. "You really are beautiful. Did you think I would lie to you? Just to make you feel better....I have waited too long to just try to push someone away like that, so why do you expect I would do that?"
Blitzkreig looked up, and in that moment, bedraggled fur and all, he looked no crazier then any normal wolf. For moments his red eyes cleared, and became wolfish again. The constant stood he almost walked in was rectified. A proud and noble black brute stood there. And though his pelt was unkept, and his tail mangled, the Blitzkreig who had once stood gaurd over his sister, who had once played amongst the fields, and paid much attention to the beauty of the moon as he howled alongside his family, lamenting the nights, was echoed right there. Begging Malevolence not to leave. The only comfort in his long, miserable life was leaving him alone once more.
"Please dont."

A pang of beats stifled her doubt for a moment as he spoke. Great muscles flexed, tensing and releasing in thought as she stood there. Her silver gazed traveled over to him, her own body held regally to its stance as he begged her not to leave. He looked handsome there as he pleaded her to stay with excuses she knew well to be true. He was crazy and this kept others away, so then why had she not left yet? Forced she felt felt rooted to that spot by her own feelings. Not Pride nor Pity but something untouched by her heart in a long while. Something she was afraid to admit was really there, and therefore would not admit it for the time being. There could be much harm in just allowing her to travel with her, and she didn't even need to leave until much later that day.
Legs slid back as she eased herself once more down beside him. Her voice let out a sigh, smooth and silky, as if to signify her inconvenience. She'd cost her little by asking her to stay therefore who was she to deny just a choice, such a dream. Pulling claws in and out she moved much like a feline might, just without forcefully retracting unretracting claws, by kneading into the soft earth's path surrounded by the damp grass.
"It won't kill me to stay longer. To eat, drink, and enjoy this day before I must return to my den in the forests. I guess It should be fairly clam and serene before returning. Everyone with their newborns in other dens, it is a mess. So I move to the forests at this time of year, to a summer den I have there." Oh course she spoke in her normal nonchalant attitude and waited for him to answer her acceptance to many questions.

As quickly as the winds, Blitzkreig's emotions switched full tide, and happiness came flooding back to a simple mind and a simple face, the scars of a million battles crisscrossing his muzzle. Little did anyone know, but he was the one whom had caused many of these grown-over markings. He had inflicted many a wound upon himself in the deep turmoil of his inner battles, battles which no wolf could really fathom. Imagine wagign war with yourself everyday just a battle to wake and stand up and enjoy another sunrise. Sometimes he had starved himself, exhausted himself, just to prove a point to an entity that had never been there, just the sick imagination of a twisted mentality.
When the black brute took full realization that Malevolence was going to stay with him, he almost jumped in joy. Limbs splayed as he sprang about, as spry as a baby deer, laughing and covorting. For the longest time he danced around in ubsurb fits of joy. Nay, they were more like abrupt spasms of joy. Blitzkreig could not really remember the last time he had been so happy. Perhaps the darkness in his mind had shaded over such memories in attempts to fully consume him, make bitter a darkened wolf. Once upon a time he had been normal. Once upon a time he had had a life. After his joyful tramp, Blitzkreig paused, his lean, muscular body rippling. It was an odd sight to see, but it could break one's heart. To see an adult wolf, in his prime and years, smling with the innocence of a child reflected in those beady red orbs.
Blitzkreig, breathing happily and in joyful bursts, found his composure once more. The black brute stood there smiling at Malevolence, a certain brilliance in his eyes. "Thank you, Mal," he said this with a certain fondness. "I thank you so much. I have been so lonely." He laughed, closed his eyes and just kind of threw his head back. But he lost his balance, and tilted forward. In that movement his muzzle pressed breifly but firmly against the she-wolf's. Emediatly he drew back, looking surprised, like a young teenager who has just recieved their first kiss. Bewilderment struck across him and he repeated twisted his muzzle and nostrils in surprise. A blush rose across his face, invisible under his fur.
"I'm...I'm so sorry."

She watched him prance about happily, and as he did her eyes seemed to dance with him. It made her happy to see him move around so gracefully and so gitty as if she'd just made him the happiest brute in the world; maybe she had. Something inside of her seemed to spring to life, wanting her to jump around with him and act like she to was still young and still a puppy. She had never been either though now seeing him it made her feel almost alive. His energy was enough to bring hers to a peak and even to make lips curve over into a smile. She'd been tempted to join him at the time, until he'd began to speak.
"Don't call me Mal--" He fell forward his maw brushing her own. As he jumped backwards she yelped in surprise, she didn't like being touched much. Touching was something that often lead to harm and marks. She let out a yelp jumping backwards in an instinct she could not help. It was from years living on the streets, these brought fear to strike in silver eyes. Her body shook as it took a defensive pose, and silver eyes shot back emotional pain that had scarred deeper then anything else.
"N-Nooo I'm sorry." Her back was rigid as she watched him with eyes that still held her fear. Her both went smooth though it was still easy to tell that she was on edge about whatever he might do. It wasn't who he was or even what he was, it was just that he touched her muzzle without her knowing before hand so it had come as a surprise and had frightened her.
"Don't touch me again," She snarled still keeping the good amount she'd put between them. It was good to put distance between her and another body as a secure against any harm he might do her. Her mind began to close off once more as her body had done. Why had she chooses to stay here when she obviously could have left and been away from her. Away from those who might hurt her.

Blitzkreig let a frown wrinkle crytically across his face. Brow furrowed in something close to surprise and the happiness turned to sadness. Had he hurt her? Oh gods, he was so horrible. How could he have done that to her. And in an instant, his mind went spinning into a spiral of doubt and self-blame. He had done nothign really, but in his mind he had done everythign and anything. His mind was a cruel thing. The black wolfen looked at his paws, studied them in shame, he did not really know what to do, until another part of him took hold. He lowered his ears back against a thick cranium, let his stance fall a little. Eyes were sad and full of agonized pleading sorry, over and over again.
The hellion whimpered, shook his head. Something in him, those last intellectual threads that remained seemed to be working over time, and he seemed a totally different wolf now. A sudden reason had come over him. "I am truely sorry, Malevolence. I did not mean to surprise you or scare you." He saw the way she flinched away from him, like a puppy who had been beaten one too many times, wincing at a raised hand that was no more then an innocent gesture. A stretch, a handshake. Lanky legs allowed him to step forward deliberatly slow. He realized just what was wrong, and it hurt him, hurt him to know she had been hurt before, and thus shunend him away. Blitzkreig wanted her to know, wanted her to realize that a touch could be somethign loving, tender.
"Malevolence...You have been hurt before havnt you? That is why you say those hurtful words. They stung me, but I can understand them. The world has broken you....Let me pick up the pieces, let me help you." The brute took a deep breath. "Will you trust me, Malevolence? Let me touch you, let me show you that not everyone will hurt you."
A smile spread across his muzzle, it was earnest, just like before. His eyes begged her back to him. He could not stand the lonliness anymore. Taking a few more steps, he found himself only a pawstep or two from her. Black bodice rippled nervously, muzzle went forward a little, hoping to nuzzle her. Blitzkreig wanted her near him, wanted to smell her close again. Eyes flickered. 'Oh Malevolence...'

Malevolence's body shook violently still even as she watching him. He spoke to her, words that seemed to mean nothing to her in own mind. They were just petty words that were used in an attempt to make her feel better. She didn't want to be touched, she didn't want to be talked to, and she didn't want him to get near her anymore. He...
"Will you trust me, Malevolence? Let me touch you, let me show you that not everyone will hurt you."
Gears clicked in that head of hers as he inched forward. What was he trying to do? Why was he so insistent on being able to touch her, or being able to be near her? They'd met only a day before but yet he seemed to care so much, didn't want her to leave. With a shake of her head she shifted her feet but didn't move away from him as he reached out his muzzle towards her. As he touched her, her body seemed to smooth over slightly making it so her whole body slowly relaxed.
"Why are you doing this, Blitzkreig? Why do you insist on being like this?"

There was a moment of hesitation, then warmth. It spread hot through his veins like some kind of strange fire, taking hold of the dried wood that was his entire being. For he was not more then a capsule, a husk, something long void of its inner self, and its soul. That had escaped him so long ago that he could hardly remember, not that remembered all that much anymore. As his muzzle pressed against Malevolence's neckfur he felt a calm enter him, and her body loosened up as well, much to his relief. He had half braced himself for her to turn snapping on him, and he would have taken it, taken her jaws through his tender shoulder and the blood running down his weakened legs. He would have took it because he cared, and it was this morbid and new feeling that he had not experianced since...since his sister had gone.
Now he relaxed, she felt safe, at least he hoped. And perhaps some of the soul left in her had come into him and made him a little more whole, for he knew he felt that way. She asked the black brute a question, but Blitzkreig felt it as hardly relavant for some reason, just words, just a question. His battered head rested gently on the back of her neck, breathing in and out, chest rising and falling. His ragged tail swayed.
"I don't know." That was all he could offer. But maybe he did, maybe he loved her. Maybe he felt that stirring in his crisp and burnt heart, making it seem whole again. Slowly the pieced were brought together, stitched with a lazy needle, holding loose and fragile as they always had. The voice in his head was quiet. Blitzkreig wondered why. ['It's all you, big guy....I have no right to interupt.'] Imagine that, respect from the sarcastic, crude part of his mind that made up this fictional entity. And he smiled and buried his muzzle a little closer to Malevolence.
"I really don't know, Malevolence...."
