Sometimes you can sit and watch the movements of a creature. Watch what they do and how they act. Maybe you get an insight into their world, a look into their minds to know just what this animal is thinking. Perhaps that is the purpose of a birdwatcher, or a nature-walker. They are captured so by this feral beauty which they could never have, so they watch it and study it and hope to understand it...So maybe they can understand themselves. Yet there are some things that are hard to decipher, locked up and arcane to the mind of the watcher...and the watchee. Blitzkreig lay in the grasses of this quiet feild, his head low and muzzle propped upon two battered paw. His pads were dry, cracked and peeling from the effort of walking miles upon miles to find a place of rest away from the outside world. He was on Shinkou lands, he knew...or at least he thought he knew. It was to see what these wolves were about, to study and watch them, per say.
Alone again, Blitzkreig had suddenly stopped seeing the disturbing nightmares through his waking eyes. He no longer reverted to that dark perverse spot in his skull to recludedly mull over the death and the destruction that ran rampid in his mind's eye. The fear was gone, and so was his sanity. Blitzkreig would never be the same wolf that he was before Riot had left him to rot in this purgatorial hell. Bitter crimson orbs spilled like blood over the grasses and the sapphire skies. His mind was quiet for now also, and that was one thing that put the brute at rest. "I should go to sleep," he murmered under his breath. In truth the brute was bone-weary, his joints and muscles aching from the fatigue of miles of travel and merciless earth churning beneath his pads. He had endured the heat, the cold, the dray, the wet and everything in between.
Blitzkreig's eyelids felt as though they had been dipped in lead and slowly but suely his gaze began to blur and sink into darkness. All of a sudden, Blitz found himself up to his muzzle in the preverbial lake of sleep and then it engulfed him. There were no nightmares, but the little snickering voice in his head was readying itself for another round of torment. But for now, his bloodshot orbs closed and flickering beneath their lids, his legs twitching fervently in his restful state. Blitzkreig slept.

Long brush stroke upon a a perfect canvass were left by the paint dipped tail that swayed back and forth like a Metronome keeping tempo on a piano of pure and utter black. This long busy tail was attached to the bony tail of one tall and large female. Two silvery eyes looked around as the tail moved in perfect rhythm, though it did not wag out of pure joy, or in that case pure horror. It just moved with each shake of large bony hips. Hips that stuck out like a sore thumb on her backside making it slightly higher, with legs mocking those that a jack rabbit might own in all power, then her front shoulders.
A nose was raises high with a certain essence that showed pride in its rarest form, even though a white shaped x scar was bound to her nose. Pride that was untouched by doubt and mistakes. Pride that oozed through ones veins like a cauldron overflowing with some wonderful potion. A potion that would make ones life a joy and make ones love with another eternal. This pride could all turn ones' joys into tragedies. Love into eternal hate. A double sided sword which was hate and love, a thin blade top separating the two. Which side she loathed more was a big mystery to all, including her own heart.
Flowers, lovely things, seemed to stray away from this particular area deciding it better to grow in a safer and less traveled spot. Trees and grass covered the fields as far as the eye could see. Any creature could smell the power radiating off the land like a aura of pure and utter disgust. The earth was sad, then again who wouldn't. It wept in tears that reined from the sky, tears devoted to its destruction.
Humans had taken the earth. She could faintly remember the appearance of a human. Tall and lanky. Hair only upon their heads--and some...other places-- and the ugliest appearances. All seemed to be equipped with strange weapons that disgraced Mother Earth with impurities. They polluted her earth with their factories and moving units. They threw their trash upon her when done with it and expected it all to disappear. They made the sun's rays able to leak through with ease, and the world to heat. They melted ice and destroyed her golden yellow hair in the fields that they planted. A cruel trick to the earth to plant upon it just to feed. They were the ones that made her weep tears that burnt trees like acid from the sky. They made her extremely hot in summers and made her angry. She'd been so unhappy she'd plagued their lands with something they often called Natural disasters.
Nature was not a disaster it was a miracle. If nature was a disaster she would be among these. Her boys mocked a so called disasters. She could make a liquid rock from the earth or fire-set rocks fly from the sky as if being denied by the all giving mother.
She hadn't known she was upon him until a white coated pad slipped over the familiar feeling of fur covered flesh. She thought he was just a small bump in the field. Shit. Slipping forward with missing grace that most expected her to have. Her paws folded under her as she slid forward propelled by the flesh dew upon the grass. You would think the Hell Hound-Angelic wolf mix would be more graceful. Then again she hadn't had much practice. The Creature of all things Malevolent, thus she was named Malevolence, she hadn't been around creatures much thus the lack of grace and composure around others.
It was a male. Apparently he was sleeping.

Something stirred in that fevered mind and Blitzkreig felt the fur along the nape of his neck stood on end as though a shiver had just run down his spine. Though he was deep in the folds of sleep the black brute suddenly felt very aware of this visitor upon lands he believed in a mind so sick and weary and dirty of sin. Towers flinched as a light wind flowed over them and suddenly he was awakened to the voice of his own torment. ['Wake yourself you idiot, we have a visitor.'] Blitz said nothing to reprimand the voice that had turned him out of his fitful sleep. His maw turned heavily up as though weighted down by severel pounds, his eyelids flickering to show blood-shot orbs, dark bags under his eyes quit visible through his dark pelt. The black brute's neck swivelled upon delicate vertabrea and creaked as he turned to face a noise of discontent. He hardly noticed the feel of her tripping over his bulk. But there was a sharp feeling of fur against fur and he was very aware all of a sudden.
Instinct took over and his jaws flew and snapped, spittle flying as he tried to tear at this mysterious so-called attacker. He bit and snapped blindly at the thin air, catching nothing but wind in those churning jaws, eyes live with a deadly fire that saw nothing but red. But at the realization that this creature was not rebuddling their own attack, Blitzkreig ceased his vicious movements, like a snake striking forward again and again. Visions cleared and he started to see her, a femme, dark and he let his lips curl back in a snarl at her. "What the [grrr] do you want?!" his voice was a bitter and tired thing. Even the voice in his head was not ready to deal with him in this state. It huddled quietly in the corner of his mind and watched. "I was sleeping! Why did you wake me?! Why?!"
Then the anger drained away and Blitz's voice was sad and tired and full of bitterness. His orbs, shot red and bloody looked pleading at her. But they were still crazy and rolling madly in their sockets. His maw dipped to the ground as he tried to rise as if to fight, then collapsed back only to pressure his legs up and forward again, his bulk quivering. "Why can't I sleep?!" he kept asking over and over. As if she knew the answer to his infinate insomnia. In his mind she did.

Long eyelashes blinked as if still getting over the shock of laying beside him after tripping and flying over him. It was to her surprise that he began to yell at her. It wasn't her fault that she hadn't noticed him, well maybe it had been but... Shaking her head she got up allowing her mouth to admit a small growl. "Hey!" She shouted as if in her defense.
"Its not my fault you can't sleep! SO BUG OFF!" Scrambling to her feet she moved her head around so she could move her maw against her fur and use blood stained fangs to bit out a knot in her fur. As she did her ribs showed clear throat, even they had shown through before they showed through even more now. "Its not my fault you can't sleep, get over it." Stretching out her black and white paws she moved a few inches.

For severel moments the brute seemed to carefully consider the femme's words, they wracked his brain in a terribly loud and echoing seranade. He almost wanted to pin his ears back and roll whimpering like some cub on the ground. But Blitzkreig wouldn't, no siree bob, not this wolf. Not the almighty supposed axis to the plans of a powerful demon. Ryannkut-something. He could not quite remember now, oh well. The thought process of the insane is a slow and delibetarely laboured thing, seeming to go on for long painful hours, turning and twisting like some beast in agony, when really it only lasted a few moments. He eyes the femme, eyes her with those bloody spheres of crazed indifference and spoke then in a calmed tone, something that he had not used since his time of sanity - the thing he was trying to draw upon, the last vestigas of a dying thing.
Head slung low, it seemed to sway from side to side like a cobra seeking out its wary prey, in sync with every motion the other took. Shoulders hunched slowly then flexed back up, as they rolled in one slow, sinewous motion. Pads flexed the nubbed claws at each toe, grinding them into the earth beneath him. When he opened his mouth, the words that slipped out sounded so much more like the wolf that used to inhabit this body. But that Blitzkreig was gone, and these were his deathly echoes. "I've travelled far, my friend, travelled far and wide. And it may not be your problem, but soon it shall be. I am destined to be great some day. A King amongst my kin." Head tilted, and that old insanity seemed to come creeping back in from the shadows. The black brute let his stained fangs show in a smile. "But I rant, I am very sorry. My curse is Blitzkreig, meaning a swift and bloody end to a battle...And I see death. To whom do I have the pleasure of conversing with?"
In every movement, his bones seemed to grind together. His sleep deprived body was one aching mass of fatigue and tired craziness. Blitzkreig was doing his best to keep himself still, resisting a mounting urge to fidget. Bloody orbs peered intently at Malevolence, and suddenly he began to wonder. How was this femme to die? Did he want to know? Did she? A chuckle quivered suspended in his throat and he bit it back. Wait, his head swinging. Watching. He was always watching and waiting. 'This femme is a pretty one, Blitz. Mayhaps you should make her your queen, when the shit hits the fan, eh?' And for a strange minute, the idea of his fevered brain seemed very warming.

Malevolence shook her head as he spoke, but as he finished she let out a small bout of laughter. "You plan to become the king, Here? In the Shinkou Ookami lands, you are a hopeful. There is only few who rule here, even in a single kin." Moving her head so it was held up high she spoke as Regally as she could manage. "I am Malevolence, A Gamma of these lands." Nodding to him she moved so she could sit. "I don't need to say to what my name means. At least I shouldn't if you were a smart wolf, Blitzkreig." Sarcasm, always a great tactic when trying to learn about a person.
Leaning her head down she rubbed the two short knobs, where horns had once been, on her leg to satisfy an itch. "Then again I wouldn't know if such a foolish looking creature is really smart or not." He didn't look foolish in the slight, actually his face appeared quite sly and smart. She would have to watch out for him. "I'm told I shouldn't judge by how one looks, but I can't help it." A toothy grin passed over her maw as she glared at him.

Crimson eyes filled with almost childish questioning. It was as though he hardly understood the biting sarcasm in the female's voice, the rough snide edge. His smile never faltered, and sat upon his muzzle like the enthusuaistic grin of a young pup. This femme saw herself as pretty snappy, the way she spoke was with an air of gentle nobility. She seemed, almost full of herself. Blitzkreig tipped his battered, beraggled dome to the side with a quick cock of the muzzle. Gamma of Shinkou Ookami? So thats what this land was called then. To think, silly him, planning on taking over the whole place without even knowing the name of it. A small snorting giggle escaped his throat.
['Blitzy my boy, I'm huuungry,'] "I really dont have the time for you," this came out as an empty growling answer to a statement that only really exsisted inside his fevered skull. Coming out in a disjointed snarl against himself. Crazy eyes rolled in their sockets for a moment. Eyes stared off into space, then back, strait through Malevolence. "I know what your name means, pretty lass, I know indeed. And perhaps I shall let you keep your position when my alliegance with...ummm...Ryannkot-something-or-other...proves true."
Head was thrown back in delerious laughter, as if sharing his own private joke. ['God, and you call me crazy...'] It was an unnerving laugh. One brought on by severel nights without sleep, tossing and turning, or just staring up into the blank night sky. Watching the stars go by, the occasional bird flying overhead. Anxiously, one of the black brute's claws started to tap against the gritty dirt beneath his battered pads, as the voice in his head started to prod fun at him again and he ignored it. Then it said something that made him stop. The delerious laughter floated off into the soft cool airs. It all calmed to a dim and disturbing silence. Like the head of a rooster, Blitzkreig's head tipped and cocked and poked back towards Malevolence with quick jerky successions of the muzzle. Ears tipped forward, eyes wide and rolling again as a great new proposition came to mind.
"Say, Malevolence....I was wondering...would you like to know how you might die?" ['Strange question, I know...But it peaks the curiousity, no?'] "Indeed."

"Say, Malevolence....I was wondering...would you like to know how you might die?"
The question almost made the female laugh in that same laughter he seemed to use that brought shivers through one's body. It couldn't be that easy to see how one would reach there demise, it couldn't be as easy as a simple yes or no question. The wolf was insane, that must have been it. He was an insane beyond anyone she'd ever met before, and this had led him to believe he could see a being's death. Maybe he would even predict her 'Death' and then try and make it come true. Psychopath, Maniac...
"How--" Pausing she shook her head of Black fur allow the x-shaped scar on the end of her nose to whip through the air a few feet away from him. "Why would you want to help me? I mean I woke you up, called weak, and spoke to you as if you were meat I was about to devour...I mean I didn't do it on purpose, and your not really helping me...but...but..." For a second that feline-like mind took a hold of her senses shaking them violently.
"Fine." She murmured attempting to cover up the curiosity that peaked through her voice. "I guess it wouldn't hurt...much...I mean it's not like I would be dying then and there when I see it. If I see anything at all, I mean it can't be proven that you can really see my death, right?"

He giggled in a staunch, almost pompous kind of way. Tail whipped out like a ratty black cobra snaking about in search of prey. This was a playful gesture on his part, but the obsidian beast was suddenly flicking his head like a rooster once more, that crazed look back in his eyes. He seemed to push off the meger list of reasons why Blitzkreig shouldnt help the strange femme, the one with the knobbed-off horns and the x-shapred scar on the tip fo her muzzle.
['Her name is Malevolence,'] chided the voice in his head, matter-of-factly.
Yes, Malevolence. Why should he help her? Well, why not? All of a sudden, the thought of peering into a puddle of water, and seeing the death and destruction reflecting back was an almost calming and delightfully numbing to the fevered brain, like ice on a bad bruise. Rooster ticks of the head, back and forth like a pendulum, to and fro. The grin remained. The giggle heightened. Blitzkreig almost gave into the devilishly tempting urge to titter around, prancing and laughing and joshing, making rhyms and singing them out. Blitzkreig ignored the curiousity, the obvious temptation that hung before this femme like meat before a starving famine-victim. When faced with such a question, who could say no? Who could turn down the siren's song of knowing one's own fate, and thinking, perhaps I may prevent it some day. And those who do decline, may just implode from the lack of such knowledge.
"Come now silly. Words are words. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names shall never hurt me," this was tittered off in a sing-song manner. Blitzkreig again resisted the urge to prance, and that sly look came back as his movements stilled. He stared strait through Malevolence and cackled. "But if you must have this knowledge, then I need a puddle, something still and calm preferably. The only way I can see death is through reflective objects."
['[grrr] me Freddy, get to the point, Blitzy.'] "Shut your mouth now, before I come up there!" These words echoed with some ubsurdety to them. Blitzkreig rose his gangly and matted form of skin and bone, obsidian as night. He peered from side to side, recovering from his most recent outburst. And he started to move away, sniffing lightly. "Come, join me friend. This shall be a noble adventure for the waters of thy fate." Another cackle.

Malevolence watched him move about like a new born fidgeting through the world. It was then her assumptions were confirmed. He was insane. Either he was insane because of this ability to see death or he was insane in thinking he had the ability. Either way did not exactly comfort her into trusting him. In order to see what he spoke of however she needed to believe that he had this ability he spoke of, and that he wasn't as insane.
As his outburst went on she had barely noticed stuck in her own world of thought. She did however listen when he muttered something about needing water, which was followed by another one of those wild eyed cackles. If water was what they needed water was what she could get. Though her own powers had nothing to do with water they did have to do with two other elements. She wasn't nicknamed the Volcano for a kicks and giggles.
It wasn't just her fiery temper and out bursts of emotions that gave her the violent nickname, it was also her powers as a Earth and Fire bender. When Fire and Earth become one they create what creates most of the earth's core. Magma. It becomes melted rock. When not melted and under ground the rock is often solid and hides many under ground springs. Therefore all she had to do was move the ground so it pushed a little water up to the surface, or better yet find a small pond of sorts.
There had to be a pond or river among the flowers somewhere.
"Fine, Fine." She muttered waving him off with the turn of her head. "Though can you keep your conversations aloud with me only. I seem to not be the only one here talking to you." He must have been hearing voices, another sign that he was most likely insane as it got. She just hoped the voices didn't Opt for kill her, she didn't really want a fight for the time being.

Head cocked towards Malevolence, focused, then unfocused, then turned and watched her rise. His tail flickered again and he stopped his mindless meanderings to listen to her speak to him. Commenting on the voices in his head. And he nodded almost understandingly at the comment, as if knowing how she felt. Licking his chops as she looked in another direction he admired her pretty form for a couple of moments before looking away innocently as she turned his dome back to him. What would she do to help him help her? He watched her wonderingly, then the voices started to kick in again, Fervently he shunned the taunting back, as it teased him volubly about his feelings. Gently he sat back with a loud thump on his rump to watch her, unsettling red eyes blood-shot and full of sly malice.
'I know you think I'm crazy, femme. But looks can be oh so decieving,' he chuckled in his skull. ['It's because you are, silly...']
Thoughtfully he smiled is lopsided smile at Malevolence. The matted bits of fur on his cheeks rose as he did, those black and cracked lips churning back in the most innocent smile he had managed in a couple years. His shrivelled heart gave a little thud. Funny how a creature could make you feel things you had never felt before, it was very very strange, perplexing almost. "I'll try to keep my converstaions with myself, to myself, friend." he said with that grin still attatched, it was almost charming. "So, what shall we do to find yonder water? Do you trely wish to see your fate. It os a tempting question, no? Most animals cannot resist." He saw that she had a sceptisism there and was a little peeved himself. "Do not doubt my powers, oh pretty one, they are very real. And they have made me how I am. They have deprived me of a sanity I so wish to bring back. But, hey, what can ya do?!"
And he started to giggle some more, stopped abruptly as a butterfly winged past his muzzle, with some deft little swooping noised and his face contorted to an ugly snarl. It was a look into the anger that this wolf was suddenly capable of. Lips tore back, and his muzzle wrinkled, revealing a set of stained fangs and rotted gums, nasty from neglect to their health. When you were insane, hygene wasn't really a main priority. And the butterfly winged off on colorful summer wings. Eyes grew bold with fury and he snapped at it. "What the [grrr] are you looking at!?!" he screamed accusingly at the insect, missing it with a whistle of fangs, and a click as those nasty enamals as they snapped together viciously. The fur along his spine rose like prickles, his mane high and menacing. He was up on all four pillars, high and steady, and his breathing now harsh as he watched the insect fly away merrily. Head cocked with rooster quickness back to Malevolence, watching her now with newfounds suspicion.

It was unnerving to see such a creature smile as Blitzkreig did at that very moment. The smile made more chills work their way through his spine then anything else did. She expected the crazy laughter and looks but not the grin that seemed neither force nor fake. Why was he smiling at her? As continuted to speak she was simply focused on while he smiled, though she caught the last sentance of what he was going on about.
She was about to awnser when he suddenly got preoccupied with the small flying insect. A laughter escaped her lips at his anger torwards the beautiful summer creature. It was obvious this man's moods swung just as bad as her own. Though being a female with anger issues hers tended to be a little more violent and a little more randomly triggered then by an annoying little flying pesk. She watched his angry red eyes follow the Butterfly. When the creature was far enough her own silvery gaze seemed to penatrate it and soon the creature fell to the ground as a small ball of fire. A little Demenstration never hurt.
"I control the elements of Fire and Earth." She concluded bringing her eyes from the deceasing fire on the ground as the creature withered to a small pile of ash upon the ground. "I control them seperatly or together. I can pull from deep in the earth was usually only sprouts from volcanos, which only exsist far from here. I can also use this to heal in a cacoon of sorts for anyone."

The black brute watched with childish facination as the insect fell fluttering in a tight cacoon of fire to the earth. Nostrils flared gently, and his eyes paused in their fevered movements to seemingly show the thoughts behind those eyes, the quick, calculating thoughts. He appeared to be weighing the situation out, forgetting about the task at hand. Which was not really hard to do if you really thought hard enough. You know, one of those times you furrow your brow and close your eyes and tilt your head back. In fact, without even realizing it, thats what Blitzkreig had begun to do. His dome lolled back quite comically, lost in the thoughts of what Malevolence had just wrote out for him. Tongue flipped pink and dripping out of sagging jaws and a look of srange bliss crossed his face. Drool dripped from his chin, he looked fair enough to fall right over and go to sleep.
After sometime of his daydreaming, bodice quivered and he opened his eyes and twirled his head around to continue staring at the suddenly attractive Malevolence. Head bobbed and spit started to spatter from the corners of his black lips. Red eyes glew. "Oh oh! Please show me, Mal, please show me, I'd love to see a magic trick."
['And I'd love to see that chick from behind, callin my name, but you dont see me jumpin up and down,'] huffed the sulky voice in Blitzkreig's head, now going politely ignored and unnoticed.
The brute showed his teeth in a smile that lacked brains. Had he been less scruffy and maybe half as crazy as he was already, most would probably see his as remotely handsome for a wolf. But the fur seemed to stick out on his body at rediculous angles. His tail was in matted tatters, as were his ears. Legs were battered and scarred. Claws knubby and stubbed, yet still sharp and as deadly as ever. The excitement in his eyes would probably make someone with pity for someone with such mental retardation smile a little to see the eagerness. Blitzkreig flexed his claws. "It'd make my day. Show me yours and I'll show you mine...Your powers I mean.." He seemed to titter on and on.

Malevolence watched with interest as he looked to enter into a train of thought. What was going on in that intricate and twisted mind of his? Whatever it seemed to be drew his attention away from her and the subject at hand to his own mind. His mind that seemed to stand on the delicate line of sanity and insanity yet at the same time knew exactly what to say. She watched him for his few moments and was about to ask what plagued his mind, however that was before his crimson eyes drew back to her accompanied by a grew amount of saliva that dripped from black lips.
"A trick?" She knew her question was silly and unnecessary but it was all she could really say for the time being. Her only answer however was a toothy grin from the black brute. At that moment she could have called what he looked light handsome. Like a rigid and sharp sword that shone at more times then was noticed. He looked like he'd been through a lot and she wanted to hear it all. Sure she'd been through her fair share, yet they had all been problems with herself and what she was. To face it all she was a mix of two breeds. A mutt made out of both good and evil that plagued the world like a rat. So who was she to judge him and call him crazy, or to imply that he'd seen more then his fair share?
"Fine..." She muttered after a moment of staring back at him with silver eyes in a sort of game that she was bound to lose. "I guess it wouldn't hurt..." As she spoke she sat her white tipped bottom to the soft packed ground plagued by a few flowers here and there. Flowers that wouldn't be there for long. As she sat there silver eyes moved from him to the ground between the two beings. It only took a few moments for the ground to slid open just enough to notice, and from it boiled a thick and hot fire. A fire that kept in the center of the earth held more danger then the normal fire. She didn't keep it hot for long though, and simply allowed a little of it to boil over and to freeze in place leaving a hard black surface covering where the flowers had once been.
"That is magma," She explained not knowing if he knew what the strange substance was or not. "My abilities help me control it and even keep it in its liquid form for minutes on end. Though usually, left untouched, it bubbles over from volcanoes and freezes into a hard black rock substance. Thought there are none of those in Shinkou Ookami."
