Xelin did not understand the explanation, only the breeding part. He had fallen into a trance after Astarael asked the question. "So, why don't you have a pack?"
Xelin never knew the reason of why he didn't have one. He believed that his parents never had a pack. That'd be scary. He sighed. "I dunno! I dun think tha' my parents had a pack, so I couldn't have one. Prob'ly anyways."

She chuckled lightly. "I see... Well, that makes us a pair of loners." She said with forced brightness. She then shifted form into a black deer and looked at him through round eyes. The deer had a golden star on its for head and Golden hooves. Astarael's wings were gone and her horn was now the star. The deer's eyes changed color once again and then it trotted deeper into the field, looking for a nice grazing spot.

Astarael changed AGAIN... Xelin wasn't sure why, but that didn't matter. He still felt hungry. "Astarael, why do you keep changing forms like that? I mean, isn't it troublesome? I am also feeling hungry..." Xelin followed after her. He could've swore he saw something white next to him. 'Maybe they're only seizures?' Xelin thought that it was too bad. He wasn't, like... magical like her. He was just a normal wolf. Now... what was he searching for again? As he sat down, a white figure sat next to him.

She raised her head and laughed. "Because if I don't I forget how to change into certain forms. It's like evolution, use it or lose it." She said humor coloring her tone. She looked around. "Well, don't look at me, I'm not edible." She joked lightly, clipping off the tall field grass and chewing slowly.

"Ahahaha... Why do I know that?" He really didn't know about the edible part, though. "No, you're just guessing." Xelin turned to the wolf figure next to him. "Ah, no... probably... or... maybe I'm just lying?" "Wait." Looking next to the ghostly wolf, he skittled closer to Astarael. "AHH!!! WHO ARE YOU?!" The figure cocked it's head to the side. "Oh, me? I'm Fai." Xelin calmed a bit, smiled and looked at Astarael. Fai was larger than Xelin. Xelin skittered behind Astarael.
((WAHH! Pwease let me let Fai in!
Fai: Yeah, I know it's early, that it is... But there really isn't ANYWHERE for me to go!))

Astarael cocked her head and stared at the new wolf. She looked from Xelin to Fai and broke out laughing. "I don't know what this is, but the two of you are hilarious together." She announced, watching Xelin skitter behind her.

Xelin looked back as Fai had only slightly bowed. "Hello, and who might you be?" Xelin smelled him for a bit. 'He seems familiar...' "Are you sure? I've never seen him befo-" Xelin's inward coversation was disrupted by Fai's unusually soft and gentle nudgings which made him jump onto... a wing? Only one... As Xelin looked towards Astarael, he found that he was at the farthest end. Fai just watched, chuckling. "Why do we look funny together?" Both were equally confused.
((Ah, he's very thankful that he can. ^w^))

Asatarael smiled, her multi-colored eyes playful. I don't know, you two are just hilarious." She said with a small laugh. "Do you know eachother?" She asked, flapping her powerfuly wings and gliding over the two wolve's heads to land behind them a little ways away.

"I've never met Fai before..." "Neither have I met- Xelin? Was it?" Fai closed his wing, which enabled Xelin to fall straight towards the ground. "Hey!" Fai had somehow been able to get Xelin on his back, which made Xelin slightly blush. "S-Stop! I can walk by myself y'know!" Oddly, Xelin did not want to move from his current position, and had fallen asleep. Fai smiled a fanged smile. "Well, I don't think I know you either."
