tale-of-tales.com/TheEndlessForest/
It's a game I found a long time ago and decided to check out again. It's called The Endless Forest(And you really can keep running endlessly. xD ), it's a game without goals, leveling or anything. Basically it's all for the pretty colors, scenic beauty and relaxing sounds, not to mention some random goofball fun with dancing, magic wielding deer.
There is no text and you roleplay a genderless(though everyone has antlers) deer through an endless forest of pretty scenery and can interact with sets of expressions and emotions(there's dancing!).
Deer can also cast spells on each other(not themselves though) by eating mushrooms off trees, rubbing against trees and eating the pine cones that drop or by resting next to each other or in circles of mushrooms for certain lengths of time. Each magic effect is different and can change antlers, fur patterns or give the deer a mask. When a deer has a single spell cast on them that they want to get rid of, they can simply "sneeze" it away to get to a previous spell that was cast on them or get rid of it. :3 Or take a dip in the water to erase all of the enchantments on them. So you can either look pretty and smell bad, or look normal and take regular baths. xD
It's a cute game to play if you're bored or stressed or are easily amused by colorful things... like me. >.>
When you register a deer, you give it a symbol and that floats above your head to identify you in game. Unregistered deer don't have symbols and magic cast on them only lasts for a few minutes.
Here's a gathering I found by the lake. I cast a spell on the fawn to change his fur color. x3 Unfortunately fawns are inexperienced with magic, so it disappears from them after a few minutes. I found a patch of flowers in the game and rubbed my antlers against them, hence why I have them all over my head. xD
These two look-alike deer gave us a nice little show. It was very surprising considering that it's difficult to coordinate movements over the internet. Before they started moon walking with each other, they were mimicking one another like a mirror. xD
I found a pine tree that dropped pine cones and a fawn ready and willing to have some 'spell-wars'. Basically we just kept changing each others horns.
Though I'd say these pair are more like trumpets. o.o
Still playing with the antler spell. :3
What it looks like when a deer casts a spell. You can still see my new set of antlers though!
The fawn who was changing my antlers from earlier decided to follow me, so I returned the favor by guarding them whilst they slept. >3
A random screenshot. The glowing ring of gold is what happens when another deer passes through you or touches. Like the little fawn who's head is sticking out from my elbow. ._.
