Hot off the Press

So when I get in moods, I write poetry. Its a good way to calm myself down so I don't do anything rash. I haven't posted any poetry lately, so I figure a few of you might be interested in my newest piece. Just finished it too.

So you dare think that you,
Stand a chance against me.
There’s nothing you can do,
To bring me down to my knees.
You can shoot all you want,
Your bullets will not work.
I’ll stand there and taunt,
Then stab you with seven forks.
You can jab with a knife,
And then watch as it breaks.
You cannot end my life,
Not even with wooden stakes.
You can try to use flame,
To shorten my life-time.
But you will fail in shame,
My death clock will never chime.
I’ll lift you off the ground,
And crush your brain’s weak shell.
Your heart will cease to pound,
As I send you off to hell.

Have you ever wondered,
What is wrong with this world?
Why is it people suffer,
Forced to starve in the cold.
What if we cared for each other?
And lent out a helping hand.
What if we worked together,
And all tried to fix this land?
People are too stupid,
They just don’t give a damn.
I doubt even Cupid,
Could make us love our fellow man.
Some would argue that it’s our nature,
To only care for ourselves.
I say that if there’s a Maker,
He’d want us out of our shells.
So come on people,
Whether man or woman.
Forget which’s the right steeple,
And help out another human.

And finally. An epic fail of the day! I said I'd right a poem about Shinkou and I tried. I think it was a big failure, but that's because I tried something new. Read the first letter of each line, going downward.

Wolves of Night, is what it once was,
Yet now it’s Shinkou, what a name.
No new member escapes the love,
Due to the members’ lack of shame.
But do not worry, they’re not too bad,
Almost everyone is harmless.
If you’re smart you won’t made Wom mad,
No rule should be read carelessly.
Shinkou is the friendliest place,
Short only on un-kind members.
Have fun showing up as a new face,
Insane people will greet in numbers.
Now don’t you be afraid to come and join,
Kiku will protect you from rotten meds.
Oh! And if you find any bananas on the floor,
Understand those are for banana bread.
