Mut-iarna flew with the seagulls, coasting on the warm air stream, high in the thick of clouds. Her ears twitched slightly, noting the faint sound of waves and water below was no longer there. "je," she thought, "we must be over land now, thank goddness."
She began to descend down and out of the clouds, breathing a long sigh as she saw the vast openess before her. Rocks and craigs jutted out of the ground, like spikes. Sage brush dotted the land. Other than that, there was little cover for her. she thought, "perhaps I have come to the wrong place, perhaps this is just another island..." her necklace jangled as she dove her head down to make her landing.
The ground came nearer and nearer to her paws, and she gently landed on a small strip of clear land. The gulls squawked above her, circling now over the ocean. As far as she could see, no one was around, but her paws told her otherwise. Somewhere amongst the rocks, there was someone else, though she could not see them nor smell them. "Well, at least I'm not totally alone." she though.

Thor looked up from lounging on a flat rock, his body and wings sprawled out to take in the sun. The warm breeze ruffled his fur and the seagulls squawking as they passed drew his attention. As did something else. Something much too large to be a gull was flying with them, but with the suns glare he couldn't make out very well it's colour or shape, already squinting from the bright day. As the shape descended he had to look away and blink, seeing faint splotches of colour around him. "Great, I'll let this clear then make my way over." He mumbled to himself, trying to shake away the dots that clouded his vision. After a very short while the winged male had made his way along the rocks and dry earthy patches enough to see the shape he'd seen in the sky, only now being able to make out a wolf. Thor kept walking, but thought as he went, about if the wolf - Fae as he could scent now, the wind favoring him it seemed.- was friendly or not. She could fly like him, so if she decided to start a fight he'd have to use magic to escape. But where was he fun in not trying? As he got close enough to call out he did, tail swaying behind him in a relaxed, friendly way. "How was the flight? Gulls give you a hard time?" He chuckled and bowed his head in greeting, stooping to stand a few feet away, just in caution.

"oh, uh, hello." she thought to him a little frightened. "I know it seems to ur, think to you like this, but I can't talk. I'm sorry..." she turned back to the wolf, wagging her tail and bowing her head in greeting. This one looked a little like she did, white and blue fur, so she relaxed a little. Her mother had told her stories about supposed demonic wolves, but this wolf didn't seem to be one.
"Oh, no, the gulls didn't bother me, much. Without them I probably wouldn't have found land. Are there other wolves around here?" she glanced at the wolf, making eye contact. she could sense just a slight bit of fear, perhaps because the wolf had not been expecting another wolf- however slight she was- among the clouds. "oh, and don't worry, I'm not going to attack you." she shook her head a little, her equivalent of a laugh.
She looked up to catch the wind, her necklace jangling, scenting the wolf was a male. Well, at least that cleared up the nearly two feet height difference between them.

Thor's eyes widened as the wolf infront of him talked, but her maw didn't move. When she told him he stood puzzled, but figured it out not long after. "So.. You're thinking to me? Uh, can you hear me...? Or are you reading lips?" Suddenly he felt like a jerk. It was a strange question, but he wanted to know. If that was the case, he'd use body language more instead. But his questionto him, was still mean sounding. Just because she couldn't talk didn't mean she couldn't hear! He flushed under his thick coat in embarrassment, promptly sitting and muttering to himself. He figured already that she wouldn't of attacked, but her actually 'saying' it helped him relax more. As the breeze caught his fur he looked around her neck, interested by the thungs around it that made such an interesting sound. "They're pretty. As is yourself. Thor simply gave a smile and stayed sitting, the smaller then average wings on his back fluffing up once as his tail swished along behind him. OOC: Sorry it's knda bad. Replying quick 'cause I have to get ready for school, lol.

"No, no I can't hear your thoughts." she chuckled, "that'd be kind of creepy. But I can read lips. so don't worry, just talk like I'm normal."
She shook her head slightly with embarrassment, "Oh, my, thank you... I do not think I am all so pretty, I look like my mum." Mut-iarna noticed the small wings on his back, they reminded her slightly of butterfly wings as they fluttered back and forth. "Can you fly with those?" she asked, not wanting to seem rude. She sat down too, resting her wings as they laid against her side. She now felt the tire of the flight wear down on her.
The wolf seemed to be nice, a joker, but still nice. This made her happy, since she had feared running into a territorial male, or even run into a pack when she landed. But this didn't seem to be the case. In fact, they were the only ones around, besides the wrenched seagulls.
(OOC: not a problem, I have to go to school too. it's kinda a pain. -.-)

He wasn't' really talking about his thoughts, but more him as he spoke. Though, she had sort of answered that. If she hadn't of been able to hear, how would she of known he was there? Of course, her senses might of been hightened... Either way, she proved to be an interesting wolf, and amusing at the least so far. "Haha, but you are. The trinkets around your neck just add to it. They're very interesting, I've never met a wolf with anything like it. I'd assume you aren't' born with them, and have come to gain them in your travels?" He didn't care to talk about her life if she didn't wish so, and simply moved on from it when she asked about his wings, which he fluffed out again with a chuckle. "Yes, I can. It's... Interesting to say the least, that they can hold me, but they do. I think my magic does more for me then the wings do some times." With a shrug he gave another wolfish smile, letting his bright orbs scan over her more, looking to her own, much fuller wings. "How was the flight here? Was it long?" He bit his tongue and hung his head, shaking it slightly. "I'm sorry. I get into things that interest me, and seem to talk without thinking. If I get annoying, just tell me. Haha. I'll gladly shut up." The male flopped over to his side after giving the area a check out, making sure they were the only two around, and that no one would sneak up on them. His eyes rested on her own yellowish-gold eyes in interest, studying her for no real reason but to keep busy and thinking things over in his head before blurting them out.

"oh, yes, I wasn't born from them. I got them from my mother before I left. I'm not sure where she got them, I never asked. We lived on this little island, not far from here. It was huge, cliffs, deer, a lot like here. My mum and dad came to the island from the mainland a long time ago. But it's all I've ever known. where are you from?" she found herself very chatty today, he was very easy to talk to. She streched out her wings a little, giving them a rest, " It wasn't so bad, I'd been practicing before I decided to leave, I wanted to make sure I'd make it all the way across, landing in the ocean isn't a very good plan, yes?" She turned her head to the side, a little confused, " So the wings are magical then? I haven't heard about wolves with wings made of magic. How interesting. " She shook her head, " oh! I haven't asked your name, how rude of me. I apologize. what should I call you?"

He sat quietly and happily listened, though mentally, to her talk about her family and home land. It did seem a lot like here, with how she described it. Some of the places here at least. When she came to a close and asked him he waited and thought looking up to the sky. Finally he looked back down, not helping but to smirk. "My parents said I came from the sky, from the gods to save someone, or something. Out of my siblings, I was the only strange marked one, and when I was a pup they thought I'd die from a sickness. However, I came from a land not far from these. I just like it here better. Much more to see and explore. Wolves to meet." He almost loved telling his story, but found it shaped him into something he wasn't. Thor couldn't of been here to save anyone. He couldn't even save himself. Though he wished that could change. Fighting and confronting were something he didn't do. When she spoke again he snapped his attention to her, nodding with a soft laugh. "If you don't like the water, maybe. But if it was far from shore then yes, I wouldn't want to land in water either." He blinked when she spoke of wings made of magic, shaking his head a bit before trying to explain better. Did she not have magic herself? "No, not made of magic. Well... Maybe. What I meant was that my element magic helps. I can control ice and air, so I can alter the air around me to help me fly faster. Better? He laughed after and shook his head, dipping it before replying. "No, it was rude of me not to ask your own name, or introduce myself when I first came along you. I'm Thor, and who doI have the pleasure of meeting may I ask?"

" You came from the sky? " she gasped, " that's amazing. If you came from around here, are your mum and dad still alive? Are they close?" Mut-iarna continued to ask questions, she was always quiet the chatterbox. She smiled a little, seeing him dip his head, she did so in return, " My name is Mut-iarna, but you can call me Mu I guess. " she chuckled a little at the memory, " My youngest brother always called me that. My name it hard for a kit to pronounce, so he always said 'Mu'. He could talk like my dad. All day long it was: 'Mu, what're you doing?', 'Mu how come you can fly?' "Mu why do seagulls make so much noise?' He was so curious. You had brothers and sisters you mentioned. what were they like?" Her ears perked up, hearing he could use magic. As far as she knew, only her and her mother could, and even then it was only basic ice magic. He knew another kind as well, air, to make him fly faster. This was amazing. " You can control air? that's astonishing! It must be very convient. It is common here to have magics?" (ooc: sorry homework. ;~

The male couldn't help but smile as she asked all her questions, thinking about which to answer first. She was easy to talk and listen to, he seemed able to relax in her company. "Haha, I don't believe I did, but my parents were convinced of it. Yes, my parents are still alive. Atleast, I'd hope. I haven't seen them in a few months. They're close enough, but still out of the way." He blinked at her name, repeating it in his head a few times. It seemed a bit hard to pronounce for him, so Mu might have to do. Thor laughed quietly as she talked about her brother, smiling as he imagined a younger version of her and a wolf he imagined as her brother walking along pointing at things in question. When she asked about his own kin, he rolled his shoulders a bit. "My siblings envied me for my colours. My eldest sister always complained how plain she was. Each of them were just plain white. They were still family though, and fun to be with. Since I left home I haven't spoken to any of them. And if I never did again I don't think it would bother me. We weren't very close." She seemed amused by everything and loved to talk, if he never had to leave her side he'd be in joy. His wandering very often got lonely, and she provided great company. For not, he was content to just lay here, listening and talking to the fae. "Yes I can colntol it, but only to a point. Each of my skills take up energy, and aren't really used. I haven't met too many wolves on my travel, so your company is very nice, but the ones I have... I believe that most have magic. Atleast one type. You won't find a wolf with more then two here however. And it's a pleasure to meet you Mu." OOC: Don't worry about it, I have alot going on lately too. Homework included. I'm trying to reply as much as I can. x-x

"And it's a pleasure to meet you as well Thor." she smiled, wondering if he was naturally a loner, or if he was looking for a pack as she was, "If I may ask, are you going to stay here much longer? Or do you move around a lot?" Since she was going to be moving on if a few days, it would be nice to have his company, especially since he knew the lay of the land better than she did. And it helped they could both fly, that would cut down on travel time, and it would help them stay out of the way of unfriendly packs and loners. She blinked a few times, "Most of the wolves here have magic? That's odd, only my mother, myself and very youngest sister could cast magic, and that's because we are mute. Ice magic runs in my family, on both sides. And my father could also cast some basic healing magics. Nothing big though, It isn't as if we are gods, after all... All my family rather looks like me, white and blue. But my dad, Wuf, he was red. Like a fire. I always thought he was so pretty when I was a pup."
As she heard Thor talk of his family, she felt a little sadness growing in her heart. It wasn't out of longing for her own family, but for his. Her parents and siblings were very close, it was sad his own kin didn't get along. " I'm sorry you don't get along with your folks. That's too bad. But I suppose that helps, after all, we all have to leave our families when we grow up. It makes the splitting easier I suppose, if you don't get along."

He smiled and thought about her next question. What was he going to do after this? And when would after this be? How long he planned to stay in the company of this fae he was uncertain, nearly sure she'd have somewhere to go. Either way, he'd made a great friend. If she planned on traveling, maybe he could tag along. "I usually wander alot. Theres a few places I've stayed at for a few days, but there's so much to see, it's sometimes hard to keep still. What do you plan on doing? If I may ask. He thought about traveling with another and everything that came with it. He didn't know any of her magic, and if she liked fish. Thor was much better at fishing then hunting, although small game like rabbits were easy with his haste magic. Rarely did he take down anything big. He also didn't know how she fought, if she did. Thor wasn't a fighter although he'd love to of been, escaping seeming so much easier to him. But if he did travel with her, and if they ran into trouble... Would he help? He could always cast his magic on her to let her escape. Or if it came to it, he hoped he could fight for her. He focused back on her and gave an understanding nod, smiling again as she spoke of her family. It had to of been nice to be so close, but Thor wasn't, so it didn't seem to bother him. It was what he'dgrown up with. He wasn't close to anyone, really. "Hm. A red father and none of you were red? That's interesting." She started again about his connection with his family, giving a half hearted grin and shake of his head. His voice kept calm and smooth, giving the area another scan as he spoke. "It doesn't bother me. It's all I knew. They just don't know what they're missing out on. Leaving was easy, and I still go see my parents sometimes. It's not like we hate eachother. We just... Don't seem to have a lot in common."

She thought for a long while on his question. She honestly didn't know what she planning on doing after this. She knew eventually she wanted to join a pack, but that was going to be a while from now. The imitiate future was something she didn't like to think about. " Well, to be honest, I'm not quite sure what I want to do. I know I want to go north, towards the snow. Other than that, I have no idea. I do not think I'd make a good loner for very long. she sighed a little, wondering if he was going to stay around with her or go off on his own again," Once I start traveling again, would you mind coming with me? I imagine it would be to both of our benefits to stay together. Saftey in numbers and all of that. I was good at hunting on the island, but I don't know about here... I don't know what kind of animals live here or what kind of fish are upstream right now..." She pondered again, was he good at hunting as well? did he hunt in a group? When was the last time he ate?
She had realized herself she had not had something to eat in a long while. The last thing had killed was a rabbit. She was fairly good with catching small game, learning how to hunt from the skies by watching hawks wait for rabbits from the trees. She had only group hunted larger game a few times. Wasn't like there was much to hunt on an island besides sheep, rabbits and fish.
She snapped back into reality, " uh, sorry, I was thinking." she blushed slighty, embarrassed she had not been paying attention for such a long time, " Yes, my father was red. My youngest brother, the one I was telling you about, looked a little like him. He was white and red. But only faintly. He was sort of like the black goat, as it were. I'm sorry to hear about your family, but I guess we cannot change what we were given, yes? I'm just glad you aren't mopping about it. My mother told me a lot of family packs were not as lucky as we were, having both parents and such. " As she finished, Mut-iarna looked to the sky. The clouds were going off into the distance, the sun was beginning to set. They had spent a long time talking.

He waited patiently for her respnce, taking the small silence for granted as he listened to the surroundings. Luckily, all he heard was the faint sound of waves lapping at the shore, having the ocean not far away. She mentioned snow when she started talking again, and a slight bit of excitement flowed through him. 'Snow? I haven't been to the colder climates in a long time. It would be nice to go along.' He thought to himself, then blinking as she said she woldn't make a very good loner. Unlike him she was probably used to constant company, and that could make someone go crazy if they had to be alone. Thor on the other hand was very used to it. Still, he often longed for someone to talk to. His thoughts were cut as she talked more and invited him to come along, trying to hide his excitement, but his tail swayed out behind him quickly. "I'd love to go along with you. And there's pleanty of things to hunt and fish here. I fish mostly and hunt small game like rabbits and mice the odd time. I've never hunted with someone else though... You probably have with your family I'd assume? I'm sure I could learn fast. Or we could hunt on our own." Thor shrugged and chuckled, the thought of food making him a bit hungry, though it could be ignored. What about her though? When had she eaten last? Was she hungry? If she didn't mention it he would ask, but he figured it'd been a while since she ate, as he caught her just a little after she landed. The male grinned to himself at how she acted, but simply nodded his head when she apolligized. "It's fine, I often get lost in thought as well. It makes sense that atleast one of your siblings had a hint of it. I've heard of many wolves worse off then myself. I'm lucky to still have family." He followed her gaze to the sky, blinking slowly in thought before he finally broke the silence. "Hungry, Mu?"

When she heard the the word "hungry" escape his lips, her tail began to wag in anticipation, "Yes, very. I don't suppose you have good night vision do you?" she gestered towards the sky, telling him it was getting dark out, and fast. "I was used to hunting with my family growing up, but I learned how to hunt by myself as well, but only smaller things, as I said. Are there any rabbits about this time of year here?" she asked. Rabbits were her favourite. "But I really could eat anything, as long as it isn't a seagull..." she curled her lips at the thought. It was like eating garbage. It wasn't something she'd try to do again.
She smiled warmly, imagining traveling farther north to where her parents were from, "I'm very glad you'd like to come with me. You seem very suited from the snow. You aren't from there are you? My parents said they came from a pack up there, but then split off. I'm not sure why, but I've always wanted to go up there and see what it is like."
Mut-iarna stood up, looking off towards the forest, to the east of where they were sitting. It seemed lush and dense, the kind that could foster a lot of life. She lifted hermaw to scent the air, catching hints of animals here and there, "Could we perhaps go on a hunt soon?"
