She nodded as he spoke, smelling the air, hoping to catch the scent of fresh water. "Yes, I hope it is that they just got seperated. I don't even think he's old enough to eat grass yet. "
She started to move again, going slowly to make sure the little deer could keep up. She kept her nose low to the ground, trying to catch a scent in the damp undergrowth of leaves. Scents always stayed down better after it had rained, or when the ground was wet.
She perked her head up for the a moment, looking to the right. She could feel under her paws, very fainty, the sound of rushing water. "Thor, I think there might be a stream this way." she gestered with her head, looking back at him for a moment.

Like her his head rose and he tried to catch the scent of something, though he assumed she'd smell it first, or from so far away if there was any. She'd found the fawn before him after all. His head tilted and he looked to the fawn, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, you might be right. If that's the case, he might really need his mother then. Unless deer eat anything but milk at such a young age?" Thor knew little about pups besides that they were easily entertained and got milk from their mothers when they were small. And needed food chewed for them most of the time when they could handle meat. Deer on the other hand... Didn't eat meat, weren't pups, couldn't be talked to, and were what pups ate. He was lost as to how deer worked, but he wasn't a fan of chewing grass to feed it like a wolf does for a pup if that was indeed the same action that needed to be taken. He blinked as she cut off his thoughts and gave a nod when she looked to him, moving behind the fawn. "Alright, lead the way. We don't need him getting more lost or picked off by who knows what, I'll tag along behind to make sure of that. He follows you anyway, so you couldn't." He stated calmly, waiting calmly on her to agree or disagree, or simply move on. If he planned on killing the poor creature he would of already, or left when Mu said she didn't want to either. The least he could do was try and protect it, keep it alive and try to find it's mother.

She continued to paw along the ground as he spoke, and she could feel the ground becoming softer and wetter. That ment they were getting near the water table, which met either:
A) a lake B) a river or C) the ocean
She was confident it was B, and she smiled. She hoped it was a large creek, one that would have fish. Mut-iarna licked her lips complacently, wondering what the fish her tasted like. She thought to Thor again, "I think there's a stream up here a few meters away, did you mention you were good at fishing?"
She looked back for a moment, doing a quick mental headcount. She thought to herself, Yes, still here. Good."

He followed behind her and the fawn at their pace, if the fawn started slowing he'd nudge it a small bit to get it to catch up to Mu, other then that straining his senses to ensure their safety. When she spoke his ears perked toward her, mentally laughing at himself while realising what he did. "A river sounds great, and I fish much better then I hunt. That's not saying a lot.. My hunting isn't great. But yes, I fish very well." He chuckled and looked aheead, still only seeing trees and grass, and the lovely femmes tail swaying naturally as she walked. He looked to the fawns tail next, noticing how strange it looked compaired to a wolves. Did deer even need tails? When she looked back he smiled innocently and turned his head aside to scan the bushes, making sure they were still unkown.

(ooc: that whole "do deer even need tails?" thing kept me up for hours. xD)
She spoke to him as they neared the water, "Oh, well that's good. I'm better at hunting that fishing. That makes it even then. " Mu looked up for a moment, she had been so busy smelling hte ground she hadn't even noticed the huge rock in front of her. She was only a few pawsteps from running into it. She redirected them around it, and as she turned she saw the stream.
It was a little smaller than she had expected, but then again, it was fall. There wasn't much water this time of year. It was still a bubbling little creek, surrounded by rocks both large and small, worn flat over the years by the waters. She wagged her tail, raising her maw to silently bark: "Thor! Thor I found it!" she called back to him and the fawn.

OOC: Lol, I'm sorry. xD As far as I know only white tailed deer do,for warning. But other deer... xD He thought of the last time he had hunted and nearly growled aloud as he thought about how the deer he had tried to catch ended up headbutting him in the haunch, and was happy it didn't bother him now. Fishing took more skill, and less strength then hunting, and he was glad of it. He didn't catch her nearly walk into the rock, but moved around it silently with the two. Her voice echoed through his head as his tail started swaying behind him, giving a small yip of congradulations. "Think there's fish in it?" He asked not being able to see it yet, not wanting to leave the fawn un attended.

OOC: true, and most other deer are loners anyways. So, that doesn't matter much.
"It looks pretty deep, deep enough for some trout or bass or whatever it is that swims around here. Do you have an idea?" she asked him, wondering if he had perhaps fished here before. She pricked up her ears as she watched him and the small fawn come out from around the rock.
As they both began to walk towards her, she scanned the horizon for a moment. A stream was a palce for hunters and the hunted alike, and she really didn't want to run into someone. She could not see nor hear anything and decided it was safe. "I don't think any other creatures are around here for the moment, I think it is safe to rest here for a while. the little deer must be tired, don't you think?"

Thor wasn't sure if he had fished around these parts, or even from a run off that came from this stream. She questioned him a few times while he made his way after the fawn, leaving him to think about the first one, and look around the area once he was away from the rock. I'm not sure if I've fished from here before, it doesn't look familiar to me." As she went on Thor listened and started padding toward the stream, only to stop half way and look back at the two curiously. "Nothing seems to be here, and you're probably right. Should try to get him to drink, and if it's possible, eat the grass. If he doesn't do either, we really need to find his mother." He stood with a concerned look while a small breeze ruffled his snow and ice coloured fur, underbelly still quite dirty from their earlier stalking. His wings puffed up a bit and his silvery hues turned back to the water, looking at the shadows from the trees.
