Darklight found that her tail was moving to the rhythm as well, but she quickly stilled it. Ok, so it wasn't a shabby idea. Even she realized it's potential in peace times. She would not speak first, though. She would leave that to Ea. It was her decision after all, though she didn't doubt what her answer would be.

Ea was quite impressed by the skill of the little musician. She nodded as the song finished, as if considering something. She stood then, and faced the two new comers. "Koli," she met eyes with him, "Thor," She did the same with him, "You both show great potential as well as skills that would benefit Voyani." She glanced at Akuma, a knowing smile on her lips, and at Darklight, who was fairly stoic at this point. If there were no additional comments from either of them, she would continue.


"If you both are willing and able to become members of Voyani, then I see no reason why you should not be allowed to join us. Thor, you would be a Caveras, one who helps take care of any young or old. You would be very good at helping them with your music, or even teaching them if you so wished. The choice is yours.

"Koli, I extend to you the same offer, but as an Annagar, or hunter, as you had suggested. Based on your skills, I feel you would do well."

Ea again glanced at Akuma. His opinion in pack matters would soon become far more influential, but the others didn't really know that. She also looked toward her sister, just to be sure there was nothing else to add.

Darkight eyed the two as Ea offered them pack positions. She gauged every little movement in order to assess them further. She would keep an eye on them for a while, kind of like a probation period. When Ea looked her way, she simply nodded, and waited for the two to answer.

The song seemed to end quickly, much to Koli's disapproval. It was just getting fun, he thought to himself. Sitting still, he looked at the others and curled his tail silently around himself. When his name was spoken, he made eye contact with the Serra. The words that followed seemed to give him hope and a spark of happiness. He never was really seeking much and feared for what he saught, would reject him once more like in the past. He just hoped that history wouldn't repeat itself. Uncertainty came over him, wondering if this was a right choice that he would make. Or perhaps by not choosing to do so would be the right choice. Koli knew he was getting old and he shouldn't be wandering around anymore. He needed to settle down.

Koli dipped his head when the Serra finished speaking altogether, grateful. He smiled and rose his head, "I cannot express my gratitude Serra Ea. Not only do I feel honored, but privileged by your offer. Yes, I shall become a Voyani and provide for my new family. This old dog still may have a few more years left in him", he chuckled.

"I am happy to finally have a place to call home", he said, eyes twinkling.[/size]


Thought this would fit real well with not only Koli's emotions, but with how everything turned out. If you listen while you read my post, you'll see what I mean ^^

Akuma caught Ea's glances at him, and he couldn't help a faint smile. He felt somewhat like she approved of him, which warmed him. Plus he was glad at her acceptance of the two loners. He felt like this would end up well. He glanced toward Koli and Thor. It seemed Koli at the least was pleased and content with this idea. He felt a welling of excitement in his chest. "I certainly hope both of you find yourselves happy here." He paused, dipping his head slightly in respect to Ea and Darklight. "Welcome."

Thor sat, awaiting the verdict that Koli and himself were waiting for. Today had been a lot to take in as it was, would the answer be in his favor? The male begged his mind to stop racing and watched the others with soft metallic eyes, his wings fluffing a bit as he clawed the snow and ice under his paws in suspense.
He stared, a little shocked and winded as Ea spoke, resisting the urge to jump up and nuzzle her great fully, instead just bowing his head and letting his tail sway out behind him in a controlled wag. He gave a puzzled look at her term- Caveras - until it was explained, nodding enthusiastically and giving a wolfish smile. His head turned to Koli as his rank was discussed, feeling a slight stab of jealousy at the more important seeming role, though letting it fade as he realized he was very unfit for it. Unless they had an unfrozen river of sorts... Still, getting soaked in freezing water didn't seem so great either.
Thor continued to listen and think, mostly about the pack. Were there elders and pups to learn from and teach? Were there others who weren't here, maybe out hunting, or scouting? His brow furrowed slightly at the thought. Would their Alph-- Serra, give him such a role if there weren't..? Snapping back to the present he bowed his head again, thanking Ea with a whine and replying with a soft "Thanks" to Akuma.

They both seemed pleased, if not relieved that their Serra had accepted them into the pack. She was still wary of Koli, but Thor seemed gently enough.

Ea was happy to see that both Thor and Koli seemed content with their positions. Ea nodded and smiled warmly as they both accepted their duties. "Akuma, I couldn't have said it better myself." She waved a paw in a sweeping motion around her. "Our home is now your home."

Anybody have any ideas of how to continue this thread? I was maybe thinking that both Koli and Thor could now meet others part of the Voyani (I'm not sure how many other active members have a character that's part of the Voyani xP) Either that, or Koli could demonstrate his new position? I know Darklight is wary of him so maybe he could gain more trust from her?

OoC: Well, it's up to you and Vivid, I guess xD I don't have any characters other than Akuma. I know Ave has one, though she hasn't been up for much wolf roleplay lately, and as for some other members, I haven't seen some of them in a while. However, pming is always an option to get some others on board XD If you like, I could send a pm or you could *shrug* the list of members is in the member packs board

(If possible, I think getting the pack together would be neat. I realize that some come and go, which could definitly be a problem, but perhaps a new thread with as many as we can get in the 'heart' of the pack?)

((Yea, that's what I was thinking Vivid, but I took a look who had characters in the Voyani, and as Rely said, Ave has one, but we may have to coax her into rp'ing :x But other than Ave, I think someone named Addykins and the Mad Doc had a character, but I haven't seem them on in at least a few months so besides us and Ave, theres not much more to the Voyani, unfortunately Dx But I would put the announcement up just to see who would like to join in. I mean it should be exclusively for the Voyani, but who knows, there may be some wanderers who just "happen by" lol :p))

A new thread sounds fine to me as for those wanderers who happen by, I will look them over for possible new pack members. A few new people seems a good idea.
