His paws thudded gently on the hardened snow as he ran along, tongue lolling out from his jaws happily. White and ice blue fur ruffled from the wind as he ran and his tail whipped out behind him, wings tucked into give him speed. Heavily furred paw pads acted as grip on the small ice patches he hit along the snow, but a sudden longer patch sent him maw-first into the frozen water, making him whine as he slid along, a stinging pain brief in his nose. 'I hope no one saw that...' He thought to himself, getting up and shaking up. Thor was much like a pup today; the fresh snow making him want to play and jump around, and not letting his sore nose spoil his fun, he dashed off again. Silver orbs shifted restlessly, scanning around for anything to amuse him, coming to a halt at the mouth of a snow-cave. Icicles hung from the mouth and reflected the early morning light, and batting one with his paw rewarded him with a lovely sound, instead of it cracking. With wide eyes and a look of pure amazement, he sat on his haunches, pawing the icicles to make a tune.

~~The night before~~
The cold harsh wind pounded Shinso, penetrating his fur and cutting him to the bone. The snow was blinding, all was white on a background of the black night. He could barely see where he was placing each shaking paw step. being smaller in size.. shinso knew he couldn't handle this weather for long.... he had to find shelter
shinso pushed forward on numb limbs, scanning the pitch black night for some sort of protection from the blizzard. The cold wind making him tear up. His right eye, his only good one, changed color from dark black, to an ocean blue... Everything became as clear as day, shinso was able to see even through the thick snow.
He spotted a forming snow cave and made for it as quickly as his frozen body would let him. After a few grueling minuets that felt like years of trudging through snow, Shinso reached the safety of the cave.
He shook hard, bits of snow and ice fell from his coat. Even near the entrance of the cave, Shinso was buffeted by winds from outside. He dicided to move deeper in, his eye seeing through the pitch black darkness. The cave seemed unoccupied, and shinso was thankfull for its shelter. If he had not found it, surely he would have died in the bizzard. "once again i am saved by my curse" shinso thought to himself, referring to his right eye.
once deep in the cave, he shook again, trying to get blood pumping to heat himself up. His body was still shivering all over. "ACHOO" he sneezed a few times. "What a dreary night" he said in the darkness, half expecting it to answer back... but it didnt.. it never did.
Thats when it hit him, how tired he was... the last few days had been physically and mentally torturous. Shinso was absolutely exhausted. He knew it was dangerous to sleep in such cold tempatures, but his body would no longer allow him to be awake.
He didnt even have the strength to circle his sleeping spot, Shinso just collapsed on the cave floor, curling up in a ball and whimpering a bit. He tried to adjust his scarf to cover as much exposed body as he could. Then.. still shivering... he drifted to sleep, lulled by the sound of howling winds outside....
~~The next day (Present time)~~
Shinso awoke to the sound of a single note, a note that echoed throughout the cave and rang in his ears. The first not affecting him much, but followed by another, and another. as if someone were playing a tune.
Shinso soon opened his right eye, "the hell?" he said rather displeased at being awakened. He sat up and shook some snow off, his purple scarf frozen in some places. He whine yawned and looked around the dark cave for the origin of the tones. it seemed to be coming from the entrance. so with a pop of his neck he got the rest of the way up and slowly made his way to the shining exit.
he kept his left eye, the bad one, closed as he searched with his right. there seemed to be another wolf out there... playing... icicles? Apparently this other wolf had not noticed shinso's presence.. and he wanted to keep it that way..
his steps became completely silent as he worked his illusion magic, his body started to fade from the visible world, and he changed his sent to that of snow.. it was the perfect disguise.. he would slip out right beside this other wolf and be on his way.
its not that Shinso didn't particular like another company, its just he didn't want to deal with it right now, and besides, he didn't really know how hostile his morning tormentor was. it would just be easier to leave without being noticed.
so he continued out of the cafe and... past the icicle playing dog.. which Shinso thought was odd..completely undetected. that is... until he had to sneeze. He tried to keep his focus and keep the illusion up.. but his nose wouldn't have it.
"ACHOO!!"
Shinso would now suddenly appear about 5 meters away from this other wolf.. as if he had completely materialized out of thin air.
knowing his cover was blown he turned quickly to face the dog.. but for such an unorthodox situation... Shinso could not think of anything to say other than "uhhh... hi?"
he hoped to God that this wolf wasn't going to attack or anything, but an entrance like his would startle anyone.
he kept his left eye closed and his right on the winged beast before him, wondering where things would go from there.

Long white legs stepped into the matching snow, paws kicking it up here at there as he watched his fore paws. Quite bored he was, happening to stumble upon some snow covered mountains. Impulsive decisions guided him to just keep traveling. "Nothing much better to do...", he said within himself. Forest green eyes constantly peered down to the ground a foot in front of him, essentially oblivious to his surroundings, contemplating deeply about trivial things. However, not trivial things to him. Tending to over think things, it was common for Koli to think and forget where he was, where he was going or how he ended up at a certain place. Something filled him with glee and a crooked grin shaped his muzzle. Starting to chuckled to himself, before he could get too far, Koli slid his tongue between his teeth and clenched his jaws. Pain drug him away from his amusement and calmed him down. Lips leveled and he appeared emotionless once more.
Smoke grey covered ears perked up when he heard pings and hums. A medley of sounds came to him and it intrigued Koli. Eyes rolling in their sockets to see where it was coming from, a dark cavity interrupted the white of the snow. Appearing to be a cave, paws side stepped and started to approach the odd sounds, long legs not taking him too long to travel the distance. Finally being able to make out the figure, he guessed it was another one like him, who was making the different sounds. Not too far from the other, Koli didn't know if it saw him, but didn't want to find out either. Slowly starting to back up, a sneeze erupted to his left side and the fur on his mane bristled. Startling him even further, another lupine appeared out of nowhere. Stumbling away from the both of them, still facing them, he then stood still, watching small puffs of his breath escape his nose. Not wanting a fight, mostly in fear of what will ensue on his part, Koli hoped that neither were the kind that lived their lives fighting others. Although, nothing would stop him if one were to spark.
Then, an eyebrow raised at the wolf that spontaneously appeared. "Indeed. Such a peculiar way to meet someone, ay?" an amused smile appeared on his muzzle, one of that tried to portray he was friendly.

Completely amused by the chimes, humma and dings that the icicles provided Thor remained oblivious to the wolf who happened to be at the recieving end of his 'music', later being happy that it wasn't a bear. His ears perked and his tail swishing behind him in the light coat of snow, Thor smiled widely as he sat on his haunches and continued to amuse himself. Moments passed where nothing disrupted the male's play, and too quick to blink an eye at, there suddenly was. With nothing but a "Aaaa" before a "Chooo", poofed another wolf, not more then a few feet away. Stunned and scared out of his fur Thor jumped and stumbled back, silver eyes wide with fright before he tossed his head, another wolf standing off to the side. Heart pounding in his ears as he tried to take in the situation, unsure if he should fight, run, or try to talk himself out of such a situation. He remained stnding there silently stunned, blinking wide eyes at both wolves.

Shinso had not even noticed the third wolf arrive on the scene until after he had sneezed... "I must be getting rusty" he said to himself.
after a few minuets of silent tention, and awkwardness, between the group, Shinso sighed and relaxed a little. neither of the fellow dogs seemed hostile..
"Indeed. Such a peculiar way to meet someone, ay?"
shinso saw the smile on the other wolfs face, witch comforted him even more.. He gave one of his own, a warm smile with his left eye closed as usual. "Yes.. well... i guess luck would have it that way" he said with a sniff, trying to break the silence and recover from the surprise.
"A cold nose makes for poor concentration" shinso would say with a small chuckle. He decided to sit, making his posture as un-hostile as possible, hoping that the threat of a fight breaking out had past.
His good eye looked over at the original tune playing wolf he had startled.. wondering what his next move would be.

Eyes rolled back and forth between the musical one and the sneezy one. Now, it seemed to him that the other two were just as perplexed as he was. Pursing his lips and raising his brows, the awkward silence that ensued almost made him laugh until the sneezy one spoke up. Koli couldn't help but snicker at his response, "Luck, ay? Can't help but think what your definition of lucky is", he then chuckled at his joking manner. Thinking about it, the sneezy one could have implied that they were fated to be here which then led him to why's and what's. His mind went off on a tangent shortly until sneezy spoke up again and sat. Koli was already starting to like sneezy and almost forgot about the musical one he first saw.
Amused so much in the past few moments more than in the past few years, the musical prodigy's expression got him close to expressing his amusement. Looking down at the snow below him, he figured to take a seat as he's been walking for quite some time now. Biting his lips to stifle a laugh, he looked at sneezy then at the music prodigy. Clearing his throat, he grinned, "So, you gonna say something funny as well?" Koli's tone was as if he was almost expecting it, but he laughed afterwards, hoping they both knew he was joking.

Thor awkwardly sat as he mentally ticked off a list while they talked, hardly paying attention to them conversing. 'Have they tried to kill me? No. Do they know eachother? Possibly not. Are they friendly? Seems like it.' His list extended as they kept talking andhe slowly checked things off, figuring he was in a pretty safe position, they didn't seem to want to kill him. Fluffing his wings and fur a bit against the cold he gave a slight smile, amused by the new company. "Well, bless you," He started with a chuckle, all previous fear and uneasyness lost. "After being scared out of my fur, I don't think funny is in my favour. However, exciting new things seem to be." With that he looked to the wolf who had sneezed, speaking his words a bit teasingly. (OCC: Sorry if it's bad. D: Not much muse right now.)

(lol i love the nicknames you gave us oki <3)
Shinso chuckled at the playful "bless you" given playfully from the musical lupine. He was relieved that all of them were just as thrown as he was and that none of them had hostile intentions. There was a spirit of awkward playfulness in the air, and it put Shinso at ease.
"Well considering how I feal that luck is the same as fate... "Shinso began, half answering the smokey wolf, and half making a statement. "I shall introduce myself" he bowed curtly "I am Shinso, i travel from the east"
He felt that this was all the information he owed the two wolves before him. He watched both canines with his one good eye and waited almost expectantly to see what their response would be.

The air was frigid after the recent storm and the fresh blanket of snow on the lands, looser on the surface and certainly packed beneath. Most wolves would probably have sought a cave of sorts and unless used to or having a favor toward the cold would definitely not be out in it. He was certainly not the type of wolf to hide from the cold, but rather was not so uncomfortable, given the thickness of his coat. Aside from physical features, it was also his duty to deal with loners in the pack-lands, and thus he was out and about, checking the usual areas.
It was only natural for a wolf to be territorial, making sure its pack-land is not being encroached upon. For him, it was nothing personal, only his responsibility. While he was a kind sort of fellow to those he knew and felt comfortable around, it took a lot for one to earn trust with him - depending on the wolf, and anyone who felt comfortable coming around, well, there was something questionable about that. In these packlands, it was not uncommon for loners to end up here with a storm and then leave afterwad - or need to be escorted. In some cases, they would stay and join the pack. Although he had often heard the excuse, "The storm covered up the scent or pack markings," or something other to that effect.
In any case, as he traveled, he soon caught the scent of the other wolves on the wind, being downwind of them, and within more time, heard their voices which seemed to echo in the air's stillness. His pace quickened, his large paws passing the ground quickly and with ease.
Upon first arrival, he came to a stop, assessing the situation. It would not be hard for the others to notice him, being quite a bit larger than most wolves, colored with entwining purple and blue, and with the scent of the pack all over him, that and his body language. He would stand out like a dark spot on a white page unless the other were entirely blind. These other wolves seemed to be conversing, trying to analyze each other, just as he was now analyzing them... making sure they weren't presenting a threat - as that was the first and foremost thing to worry about. It didn't seem to be the case. In fact, he arrived just in time for this Shinso's introduction.
"Would I be correct to say you have found yourselves here as a result of the recent storm?" he asked, skipping any sort of greeting for this encounter. He wondered what their reaction would be to him.

(Glad you like Chewy, wonder what Vivy's opinion is . And as you can see, I like giving nicknames ^_^) Watching as prodigy calmed down, so did he and could feel the release of tension in the air. Finally feeling comfortable around the others, this gave him time to observe the others. Prodigy was a white winged wolf, with an iridescence that had a blue sheen to it when in the right light. The small wings made him wonder how he could fly with them. Silver seemed to also gleam off of him when looked at from a specific angle. Forest green eyes moved over to the dark blue one with the purple scarf and some holster that strapped around his thigh. Never seeing a wolf with such accessories, a question popped into his head about his closed eye; maybe it was blind or seeing how he was, he has some kind of special ability and releases it when opened.
Then prodigy responded to both him and the blue one and he gave a chuckle, "Well, even so, it's amusing." Listening to the one who introduced himself as Shinso, he nodded, thinking that's what he meant. Figuring he should at least give his name, Koli opened his maw to speak but a voice came from off to his side; another came to join their get-together. This time it was a big purple furred wolf with wings...but different than what one would think; they were butterfly wings. It seemed he was the smallest their out of the group. All of them had fur that had a gloss to it and yet, his was mussed up, and always seemed so. It made his arctic white coat never have any luster to it. Looking up at the new-comer, he responded, however not giving a straight 'yes' or 'no', "Welcome to the party. 'Nd storm?...I must have just missed it or something 'cause I don't remember one....", he trailed off, thinking. Waving a paw in the air, he decided to at least give his name to the two he initially met and the new one, "In any case, I'm Køli and its been so long I don't remember where I'm from, but I have traveled in every direction one can think of."

(I enjoy the nicknames as well. They're really adorable. xP) He nodded to the dark blue wolf when he stated his name in understanding, letting himself relax fully now. If they were planning on harming him, surely there would of been a fight by now. And why would names be given? The mood much lighter now, Thor moved to speak his name but saw the fellow white wolves maw moving, a voice that wasn't any of theirs cutting through. Hackles raised as he startled, he lookedto the new wolf before calming again, figuring if there was a fight now, the odds were with him. Letting Koli speak before he did he wrapped his tail around his paws, the chill slightly getting to him. "The storm? No, I was just interested in exploring. And for our... Party," He used the term in a playful way, grinning. "Name is Thor, like I said, I'm exploring. Come from a place not even attatched to this one. The advantage of having wings. And you...?" He finished while looking to the butterfly-like wolf, tilting his head in question.

OoC: So, chewy asked me to go ahead and he'll reply after me XD
iC:
His ears perked toward the group as two spoke, greeting him and inquiring. They seemed so calm and he wondered if indeed they had no idea where they were. Well, it was certainly likely. The territory often had to be marked after every storm and those happened frequently. He expected Darklight was probably busy doing that, though for his own part, this was the current issue.
A brow raised toward Thor, though went back to its place. "I am Akuma, Tyr of Voyani, and these pack-lands are my home." He paused. The statement felt a bit odd on his lips. He couldn't help but think about his recent history and the past farther off, as well as his recent changes. He was truly no longer the quiet wolf unwilling to say anything about himself. It didn't mean he wasn't still reserved, only releasing what information was required or necessary. But he had a place now, and was unafraid of it.
"In light of the recent weather, I suppose the territory was indistinguishable to you all, therefore I cannot blame you unfairly." Another pause. "However, I would like to make your whereabouts known to you." He just knew if Darklight were here this situation would probably be going much differently. In a way, he was sort of glad she wasn't. "Do any of you have a destination or goal?" He supposed he was really asking if they intended to hang out here for a while, being as there was a cave and all. But he simply waited, anxious for their response.

Looking around at sneezy and prodigy, finally knowing their names, an amusing thought scrolled around in his head. Whether to call them by their names or keep the witty nicknames he came up with, he couldn't decide. Grinning at the thought, Koli shook his head at it and returned his eyes to the group of three before him. His grin fading, other random thoughts came across, like his origins. The other two seemed to know where they were from; hell, everyone should. But he didn't and couldn't remember. Then again, not remembering helped him control his vice and if those memories were to resurface, other things would rush to the surface with it. Initially unsatisfied with how he didn't know of his origins, prying thoughts were suppressed, having to remind himself every time he thought about it.
A loud voice halted his thougts and figured it was the one who came across the three. Dipping his head at the butterfly wolf quickly as acknowledgement, questions popped up in his head about what was Tyr and general questions about the Voyani. Koli wasn't a part of a home or family and feared doing so again. Deep down, he wanted to be and figured at least he could try. After Akuma was speaking, mulling shortly over what he said, head lifted to answer his question, "Haven't had a destination for ages. However, I do have a goal and that is to finally to have a destination", he spoke in a somewhat riddling manner.
Pausing shortly, Koli decided to vocalize one of his questions, "By the way, whats Tyr?"

(Sorry guys, I've been caught up with school. x-x I'll try to post more now, load isn'tso heavy.) Pack lands? Surely no one would want to set up a pack here... Right? Well, the odd-winged wolf seemed to confirm that wolves did set up a pack here... Why hadn't he noticed the scent? Shrugging it off Thor watched the exchange of words between the others, fluffing his wings up against a slight breeze. As if reading his mind Koli asked what a "Tyr" was, Thor simply replying to the previous question once his turn was up. "Destination? Nothing at the moment. But I suppose out of your boundaries would be perfered?" Thor was interested in pack life to an extent, living in a small pack like structure growing up, but that was then, on lands he knew. Exploration of this new place, all the lands, interested him more then settling down. If anything, Thor would of joined a roaming pack, but the chance had not arose. Scuffing at the snow with a paw subconciously while he thought, the male blinked, snapping out to look at them calmly. Would they be escorted out now? But he was having so much fun with the musical ice...
