A white wolf sleeked around the ruins, her ears pricked listening for the wolf she knows is here. Stopping only to check for the wolfs scent, she plunged deeper and deeper into the ruins looking for the wolf. Looking up to see nothing but blackness, "Time to find some shelter and water." She half muttered to herself. Pricking her ears, looking for the sound of running water. Hearing the sound of a stream nearby, Snow headed in the direction of the stream. Stopping at the edge of the bank to check for any nearby scents, she walked through the sand to the edge of the stream and drank. When she was done, with her wings folded to her sides, she walked into the stream stopping when she could no longer touch the stream bed. Diving down she caught a fish, even though it wasn't in her liking to eat it was easy prey. With the fish in her jaws, she headed up, breaking the surface she swam to shore to eat.

[glow=navy,2,300]A dark figure watched unseen from the far side of the stream as the white female made her way up onto the bank, a trout held in her jaws. The dark wolf's emerald green eyes narrowed, their cat-like pupils becoming thin slits as the wind shifted and he caught her scent again.
So, Vyrn Daka'Ral thought, the familiar tang confirming his suspicions about the females identity. Our paths cross once more. Wydran is truly kind, to bring me to her again.
A light wind played across the water's surface, blowing at Snow's back, and Vyrn took the opportunity, wanting her to know he was there before seeing him.
To anyone watching, it would seem as if Vyrn had simply blinked into existence in the shadow of the oak tree behind Snow. There he sat, waiting for her reaction to scenting him.[/glow]

"Hello Vryn, its about time you showed up. I was starting to think I was going to have to actually have to find you." Snow barked with a grin, swallowing the last bit of trout. Finished with it, snow picked up the fish skeleton and flung it behind her at Vryn. Turning around and seeing she had missed her target Snow looked at Vryn, "I never had a great aim, you should know that better then any wolf. All those times of me practicing my magic spells on you and all." Sitting down, Snow licked the rest of the fish off of her muzzle.

[glow=navy,2,300]A faint smile hovered around Vyrn's muzzle at Snow's remark, amusment evident in his voice as he replied.
"That I would, Snow. I would, indeed."
He stepped forward, touching the side of his muzzle to her's in a formal greeting.
"You have done well since you set out on your own. I was afraid, at first, that you were not ready, but you have shown my fears to be unfounded."[/glow]

Slightly wagging her tail as Vryn touched the side of her muzzle with his in a formal greeting, Snow replied with a grin, "Of course I've done well since Shadow left, I'm not a pup anymore." Snow looked down at her paws before continuing, "Though i did have a couple of outburst." Snow's grin disappeared as she remembered the time were she nearly killed off her entire pack and, when she nearly killed the large gray wolf whose name she still doesn't know.

[glow=navy,2,300]"And each time you came back to yourself. That is more than many can say." Vyrn murmered, his voice comforting. The wind picked up again, bringing with it the scent of rain, and he looked up at the cloud-covered night sky.
"We should get to shelter. This river will soon flood with the comming rains, and I would rather be elswhere when it does."[/glow]

Heh, you never did like the rain did you Vryn." Snow barked with a grin, "I pasted a giant oak tree on the way here. It had a hollow area, probably an old nest. I'm sure it can fit the both of us, just let me catch a couple more fish for us to eat while we wait for the river to lower after the rain." Snow jumped back into the water before Vryn could reply. Diving down to the bottom she caught an extremely large carp. Breaking the surface, Snow swam back towards shore, the carp in her jaws. Once Snow was back on the shore she dropped the carp and, her wings stretched out allowing the water to drip off, Snow shakes herself dry, splashing water everywhere. Her white fur fluffed out and dry, Snow folded her wings to her sides and picked up the carp.

[glow=navy,2,300]Vyrn smiled faintly, stepping out of the spray from her shaking. He seemed ill at ease about something, though, his ears twitching at the slightest sound, and he kept shimmering in and out of veiw while they were walking to the hollow.[/glow]

"Well, here we are." Snow said, dropping the carp and, looking up at the great oak, "Right there in between the branch and trunk is the hollow." Snow pointed at the large branch with her nose. You could just see the top part of the entrance to the hollow. Looking at Vryn, Snow was just about to ask him if he knows why Shadow had left when it started to pour. Snow picked up the carp and flew to the branch were the hollow was. Hoping Vryn could get up to the hollow, Snow dropped the carp in the hollow then took a few steps back to grab some leaves from the branch to place inside the hollow.

[glow=navy,2,300]Vyrn seemed to blink out of existance, reappearing inside the hollow without a sound, then shook himself dry. Snow had remembered correctly, he truely did not like rain, for all that it made it easier to go unseen.
He had not missed the question in her eyes before the storm hit, and he was fairly certain what, or rather who, it was about, but he decided that it would be best to say nothing for now. He knew Snow would ask when she was ready, and he would tell her then.[/glow]

carrying the leaves on her back, her wings lifted up and close to her sides to help hold the leaves, Snow walked into the hollow. With a nod at Vryn, Snow dropped the leaves and started to make a nest out of them, "I can get some more leaves to make a nest for you to lay in if you want? That is unless you would prefer to lay in this one with me like you did when I was still a pup." Snow barked with a grin.

[glow=navy,2,300]"I appreciate the offer, but I will be fine." Vyrn replied, settling himself near the entrance of the hollow as if guarding from something. "You where going to ask me something, before the rainstorm interupted us."[/glow]

Snow's grin disappeared, "Yes, I was." Laying down in the nest Snow continued, "I wanted to know if you know why he left?" Snow looked at Vryn, her red eyes piercing his. "Why did he leave me?"

[glow=navy,2,300]Vyrn looked away when she asked, gazing out into the rain, as if unable to meet her gaze.
"He didn't leave of his own will."[/glow]

"How so?" Snow asked,with a twitch of her ear. Please don't tell me you chased him away, Snow thought to herself.
