Lillian wakes naked in the trees, a small satchel placed next to her. "Considerate asshole..." she thinks without rancour, flipping it open and quickly clothing herself with the ill-fitting leather and fur clothing inside, it was made for him, not her, and she had to use the knife and rope in the pack to create a series of belts to keep them from falling off, and, while she was hungry, tired and disorientates, she would be warm now. She replaces the rope in her satchel and slings the pack onto her back, securing it to her belts like he had told her back at his home, a dug out fox den with a hollow tree for a chimney in the cold forest to the west of here. "How did I know that?" she wonders, looking around to see if he'd left her any other supplies, but the sky was getting dark, and her eyes had not yet adjusted to the murky dimness of this place, so she started moving. "West it is then..." she murmurs, ignoring the feel of cold, wet ground on her soft, pink feet, her ears open for any sound other than the mild drizzle steadily soaking her makeshift clothes.

A small white wolf trudged through the forest, barely even large enough to be considered a wolf at all. Her fur was dirtied, and her shadow seemed to shift uneasily beneath her, a small charm bouncing against her chest as she walked along. She's only had strange experiences since leaving the farm. Nothing but nightmares and magic, the likes of which she would never have been able to fathom. Oh how she wished to howl out in sorrow, her body aching and tired. She'd traveled so far now... She needed rest...she needed food.
Her stomach grumbled, complaining and begging for table scraps that no longer existed. She had left that world. There was nothing left to go back to now, she had to fend for herself. Perhaps she could find a hare... It wouldn't provide much meat, but certainly enough to sustain her. She raised her snout to the air, inhaling deeply. What was this? She smelled something, but it didn't smell like it belonged in the forest. It smelled of pain and sorrow. Human? No...it had wolf in there as well. What was this creature?
"Wrath..." Kita quietly spoke. "What is it?" Her shadow fled from beneath her, traversing the area with swiftness unmatched by any natural being. A human wanders from the trees nearby... Wrath announced, little more than a whisper in Kita's mind. "So it was human after all..." she said, looking to the ground and halting her march. What are you doing, Kita? What if it is a hunter out to kill wild animals for hide?! Wrath urged, but Kita stood still. "What use am I if my senses betray me at every turn out here? I have lived too long among man, out here...I'm useless..." The shadow was more uneasy than ever, swirling madly beneath the white wolf, her eyes gazing mildly to the ground. "Let her come...if she is to kill me...then let it be. At least I will reunite..."

Lilliana picks up a small branch, long and heavy enough to be dangerous but thin enough to be controllable in her hand as she begins towards the west, checking which side of a tree the moss grew on beforehand to double-check her direction. And so she trudges on through the mud and muck, silently hoping for some kind of saviour, not used to these long, unplanned and often dangerous walks across unfamiliar terrain, the small drizzle becoming a mist of cold water as she walks, dripping and shivering as the liquid runs down her, sticking uncomfortably to her ill-fitting garments. She catches the hint of movement in the shadows and two glowing eyes staring at her with a baleful glare. Wolf's eyes. She stops, going to one knee, and almost reaches out with one hand to beckon the animal closer before stopping herself. "Remember how you faired last time" she muses bitterly, holding her proxy-weapon tightly. "Who are you!?" she calls, staring the wolf in the eyes as she readies herself for an attack again, hoping that this time, she might not make it back to her proginator's dark hollow, that she'd be free from the pull of her to him, the one she hated, the one that saved her. But she'd not go without a fight "I mean no harm, kill me or leave, I have no quarrel with your kind!" "Not strictly true, but that one is different..."

Kita's ears flicked as Lilliana began to speak, listening to her closely. The young wolf's nose twitched as she sniffed the air curiously, closing her eyes for a moment to focus on the scent. Her icy blue eyes opened again, staring at Lilliana once more. "I dond't get it..." She said, not knowing that the human may be able to understand her.
Her shadow again shifted uneasily, swirling a bit. It didn't look natural, even in the dark place. What is it, Kita? The shadow whispered to her. "This human...she doesn't smell right," Kita growled out, though without truly snarling. "I...I smell wolf in her blood, but that can't be. She's clearly a human, right?" She asked, a slight whimper escaping in the end. I see a human, as you see...though I too can sense something strange. Perhaps we should be cautious? The shadow suggested.
Kita shook her head, out of place seemingly as Lilliana wouldn't be able to hear Wrath. "Look at her, she has a stick. She couldn't be that strong if she thinks she needs a stick...but why is a human this far out in the first place?" Kita questioned aloud, speaking in wolven tongue all the while. She seemed to be carrying on a conversation apart from Lilliana, though nobody else seemed to be around.

Streak sniffed the air for her next prey. Her stomach growled, as if it were reminding Streak that she needs food. Streak looked through the trees. There! An elk! She readied herself. There was a slim chance that she would kill it but there was a chance. Streak pounced onto the elk, securing her mouth around its neck. After a few moments of being thrown about, the elk finally died. A whole elk just for her. Streak decided to move it to her temporary den. The elk was heavy but Streak managed to drag it. She stopped. A new scent came her way. It was a human, yet there was something strange about it. She swore it smelt a bit like a wolf. Nevertheless, Streak was cautious. She tried as quietly as she could to drag her meal over to the scent. The shadows the trees created hid her from sight. There she saw another wolf. The rain was getting on her nerves and out of instinct, shook herself, revealing her position. Streak thought of running but that would mean no meal and she would have to settle for something small, such as a rabbit.

"Look at her, she has a stick. She couldn't be that strong if she thinks she needs a stick..."
Lilliana's cheeks reddened at the comment, and even though she knew that the wolf was speaking it's own tongue, she could understand the words for the most part, and the wolf spoke of her as if she wasn't even there. "What a damn disgrace..." she thinks to herself, grinding her teeth. "I am not weak! You take that back!" she shouts, brandishing the stick as a spear, throwing it angrily somewhere towards the she-wolf.
"...but why is a human this far out in the first place?"
"That's none of your damn business! Go away or I will MAKE you go away!" she challenges, looking around for a similar branch, but all she can see are twigs and leaves, not a stout branch in sight.

((I don't mind))
Kita shuffled a couple steps to the left, avoiding the stick. Her ears went back, glaring at Lilliana. In her eyes could be seen her shock, and even slight fear as the human...reacted to her?! "What...?" Kita whispered, eyes wide and staring at Lilliana. She can understand us Kita-you need to... Wrath began lecturing her, abruptly halting. Even Kita's ears twitched, as did her nose. The iron smell of blood. Whether the human truly could understand or not, it was clear that they were not alone.
Blue eyes darting to the side, they narrowed once more. "Wolf," she barked out. "You aren't fooling anyone. Between the smell and noise, you're poorly hidden," Kita announced, glaring in the direction of the black she wolf. She immediately turned her attention back to the strange girl, who could apparently understand wolf a bit too well.
"Tell me...how is it you can understand me?" The snow white wolf asked, taking a step toward Lilliana. However, it didn't seem to be in a threatening stance at all. More curious than anything, really. Her cool eyes watched as Lilliana searched for a replacement weapon. "You know...that stick wont do you any good, I would have killed you by now if that were my intentions," she said calmly, wanting to shake her head at the girl. Perhaps it's not too late. We could still kill her...it would be easy... The inner voice told her, to which she truly did shake her head. "No, she's not like them...I can tell..."

Streak stepped out of the shadows concealing her. She stayed on the edge of the shadow, ready to slip back in, hopefully unnoticed. "I would have been better hidden if it weren't for my hunger." Streak looked at the white wolf, her violet eyes glinting in the light. She looked at the human and stepped back, half of her body in the darkness. Her ears twitched, showing she was agitated. Her meal lay next to her. Quietly, Streak slinked back into the shadow, looking at the other two. She started to eat her meal. Hunger had overcome her. She looked at the situation she managed to get stuck in. Streak was prepared to attack if anyone tried to follow her into the shadow. Streak had rightfully caught that elk and she wasn't sharing.

Lupin was standing in a tree, looking down upon the human girl, who seemed to understand wolf tongue. Lupin pricked her ears as the she wolf barked something and another she wolf appeared barked a reply and left. "Tell me...how is it you can understand me?" Lupin was thinking the same. I can take this human down easily, Lupin thought, she maybe small but she can fight. Jumping down off the branch, Lupin landed behind the human girl, her titanium chain clinked as she landed and, the titanium bands glistened in the sun as the rain clouds moved off. Lupin looked up at the human girl, "Yes, how do you seem to understand us?" Lupin barked.

"Tell me...how is it you can understand me?"
The wolf asked, stepping cautiously closer to Lilliana, making the hairs on her neck stand on edge as she steps back, eyes narrowing and darting from side to side, checking for movement just as the cry of an elk in dying agony squeals out it's last scream, and Lilliana's pupils narrow to pinpricks, arms and legs tensing for a sprint away.
"You know...that stick wont do you any good, I would have killed you by now if that were my intentions," she said... A little too calmly for her tastes.
"Wolf!" Lilliana jerks, her body jumping at the shock of Kita's sudden bark, as the wolf turns and growls to someone else through the bushes She closes her eyes for a moment, stilling her mind, then opens them again, anger and frustration winning out against fear and dismay. "I don't need a stick to tear you limb from limb if you come any closer!" She says, eyes glinting with the promise of danger as her arms begin to shake, her stomach churning. "I mean it! Not another step!" A quiet thump, and Lilliana begins to shudder all over and her nose twitches with the musk of a wolf, and her back begins to sweat, a similar smell rising from her now. "Yes, how do you seem to understand us?" "Perhaps it's because..." she hisses, through her teeth, heat rising from her body, "I'm almost one of you!"

"I don't need a stick to tear you limb from limb if you come any closer!" Kita's ears twitched. Who did she think she was?! Kita might be small, but with Wrath she was more than capable! The shift of feelings caused Wrath to swirl beneath her. Yes, that's right Kita. Who does she think she is? Let's tear her limb from limb, and see who's capable then![/i] The Shadow prodded silently. Kita let out a low growl, though it was aimed to her shadow, not Lilliana.
"Shut it, I can handle this situation my way," she growled out, lips curling up over her teeth as she did so. Her attention was quickly dragged away, however. Her expression cut short, ears perking as she lifted her head, looking to the new wolf. Where had this one come from?! She must have mistaken her scent for that of the other she-wolf. "Tsk..." she said quietly. "My senses have dulled..." However, this wolf didn't seem interested in her. Rather, she too was interested in this human who could speak wolf.
Kita turned her head one last time, looking at Lilliana, who was radiating heat as her stench began to smell more and more like the wolves around her. She looked almost ill, some combination of pain and fever as she hissed her words angrily. Kita's ears went back aggressively, prepared to defend herself. Her fur bristled as she watched the girl, eyes narrowing and baring her teeth as she let out a low growl as warning. She didn't like whatever was going on...it didn't feel right.

Streak heard what the human said. Almost one of us... The thought lingered in Streaks' head. And she could understand the human. A human speaking wolf. Streak shook her head. What was the world coming to? "Humans speaking wolf," muttered Streak. She saw the wolf with the moving shadow tense. Streak stood up. If she needed to run, then she would. Streak growled, adding to the sound. She got ready to attack. The other wolf seemed anxious. Evidently, Streak had just come to the wrong place at the wrong time. She cursed herself for not running when needed to and thinking her hunger was more important that her life.

Lupin has heard of humans who could change into wolves and back from her parents when she was a pup. She knew at first hand that this human girl was one by the smell that radiated off of her. "Oh you are, are you? Heh heh heh!" A creepy grin placed itself upon her muzzle as she continued, "How about you show me, huh." Lupin tilted her head slightly, "How about you show yourself as well." Lupin barked to the she-wolf who seemed to not want to show herself. Averting her attention back to the girl, Lupin sat and barked, "Well are you gonna change or what!?!"

"Shut it, I can handle this situation my way." Lillian falls to her knees, hands clasping the side of her head, a low whine escaping her lips. "Nnnnnoooooooooooooooooo..." she hisses, biting her lip as her fingers begin to bleed, the jails becoming thick black claws. She wretches, falling onto her hands and knees, eyes bulging and claws digging into the dirt as a vile, watery fluid spews from her throat, her spine clicking loudly at the bones expand and realign one by one. Unbelievable terror and pain tear through her mind, leaving no room for sensory input other than a vague notion of being spoken to... She looks up, straight at Kita, her eyes desperate... "Help... Me..." she croaks, reaching right towards the wolf, hand twitching violently.
