Summer was clearly making its way through the world. Even though it was mid-spring, anyone could feel the heat starting to make its way through the afternoons. Summer wasn't so bad if you enjoyed it. Here the weather could vary from a lovely summers day to one that made you want to take a dip in the nearest water source.
It was midday and just absolutely gorgeous of a day. The grasses were as green as could be, as if Winter hadn't done a thing to the blades. In a few patches, flowers were in full bloom, giving a splash of color to the gently rolling hills. It was the perfect day to run and play, or simply sit and enjoy the clouds as they passed lazily over head.
And Nisha was doing just that. She was on a hill separated from the other groups. Her head was tilted back and her eyes were closed as she absorbed the suns warm rays. The white fur stood out brightly against the green backdrop, as did the translucent grey and white butterfly wings that sat right on her back. For once, she was relaxed. Not afraid that anyone would come near her and disturb her. No strangers. No dangers lurking behind the next tree. Just simple and pure relaxation.

Gann trotted leisurely through the waving grasses, his tongue lolling from the side of his slacked jaw. Why was he here? What was he doing? It didn't matter, all that mattered was how beautiful a day it was. The air had lost the chill of winter, now holding the songs and scents of spring. It was all a lovely change, but something was missing. Like the last piece missing from a puzzle, something just felt..off. Gann couldn't describe it nor did he really find it necessary to do so, most of the time he could simply push it to the back of his mind, but there was still that nagging feeling that something was missing... What could it be....? Was he worried for his pack? No, that couldn't be it, he had told Ea he was going away for a short while. Was it the she-wolf herself that Gann was worried for? No, Ea could take care of herself and even if she couldn't there was always Darklight, Aiu, and the rest of the pack there to pick up the slack. Ea was well taken care of. So what is it?!
A sound caught the large male's attention. A rabbit perhaps? The wolf instantly slowed, his paws turning up four wide scars across the rich ground as he threw his weight into stopping. Again the sound reached his sensitive audits making Gann freeze completely until he could pinpoint the direction from which it came. Left... Looking with his eyes, the Voyani male noticed a fattened hare hopping lazily through the grass. Yum. Gann made to turn, the rabbit looked up. Gann took a step, the rabbit froze. Gann took two steps, the rabbit bolted. The chase was on! He may be a large wolf, but that by no means meant he wasn't agile. Yipping and barking he leaped through the grass, bounding after the rabbit excitedly. It would be an odd sight to any who were around to see, a full grown male leaping about like a pup. But in a second it had ended. He once again skid to a halt, a new scent hitting his nose. The scent of young fae.
A piece of the puzzle fell obligingly into place...
((OOC: Blargh, sorry it's no good >.< I'll get better as we go promise! lol))

There were many oddities that could happen in the world around them. Shinkou and Akeru both had a habit of attracting odd beings and the like. THey were't hateful and though she wasn't a member of their pack, welcomed her anyways. She felt safe here. And after a moment she opened her eyes, her sun warmed face and fur making her sleepy.
Thats when she heard something. Feet moving around. Some yelps and whoops that sounded only of excitement. Tilting her head, she hunkered down. Almost fully on her belly, she moved toward the crest of her hill. She kept creeping until she had just enough room to look things over. She saw the male and then the tail end of a rabbit high tailing it out of here. Her only guess was that the rabbit had gotten away in a game of tag. Her ears flickered this way and that. Why had he stopped?

Gann sniffed at the air, taking in big gulps of oxygen and tasting as well as smelling the thousands of scents around him. A female had crested the ridge and the male turned to face her accordingly. She watched him and the wolf could only wonder what she thought of a full grown male for being so childish. Jumping around, chasing after rabbits. Yea.. Way to make a lasting impression... He thought in a chastising manner. To be fair, he hadn't known the fae was watching, but he should have been acting more his age any how. Oh well, maybe I'll learn my lesson. One, two, three.. Gann let out a short snort of laughter. As if the gentle hearted creature would ever change, he loved fun and loved being happy. One can't do that trying to act cool all the time, so why try? He reasoned before shaking out his fur and starting an easy trot up the hill.
He should apologize. After all, the male was trespassing and that was a crime enough to get him killed in some territories. Luckily this isn't Giaku... Still, he needed to tread carefully. Gann reached a few feet away from where the femme had been standing when he first noticed her presence. If she was still there, he would grin his lopsided smile and dip his head in greeting. "Hey there, ma'am." His lyric would be gentle and kind, holding a note of laughter as if he was listening to some untold joke. His bright silvery-golden eyes would have a welcoming light in them as if they glowed with the light of the sun.

Nisha knew better then to look for too long. Staring brought complications. Brought unwanted attention as well. She was ready to slink back over the crest of the hill nd go about her way. But she had reacted too late. The male who had been playing spotted her. He was moving toward her and she sank closer to the ground, this time her belly touching it. Her ears had fallen backward as she assumed the non-aggressive pose.
He gave her a greeting and she shifted uncomfortably. 'Hello,' she said quietly. Her voice only a few degrees above a whisper. Nisha was never one for much socializing. It just was never in her to fully interact with others. Perhaps because of her demon nature and the fact the wings on her back screamed that. Gray eyes glanced around them, looking for the nearest form of shelter just in case this male meant harm. But some how, it was doubtful.

She was hiding? Was there something behind him...? Gann turned slightly, looking over his shoulder and searching for something that could have frightened the beautiful adorned fae. It never dawned on him that the focal point of her fear could be himself. Odd... The male turned back and flopped down on his haunches, watching the femme as she replied. "Hello." Her voice was so soft, so timid. It could have been the voice of a...of a... Butterfly... The word came to the Voyani wolf's mind with a sense of surety. Yes, butterfly. Her wings made that much clear, and such beautiful wings they were. Gann's bright eyes looked over them with awe, the intricate design on their thin matter making him wonder if they actually worked.
Again, it was brought to his attention that she was afraid when the she-wolf looked about them desperately. But what was she looking for? A traveling partner? Game? A hide out? Gann cocked his head slightly to the side, standing with a few sways of his tail. He really was trying to seem friendly, but once again he was ignorant that he was the cause of the wolfess's fear. "Are you alright?" He asked softly, concern plain in his voice as he ventured a few steps closer, lowering his head and searching to catch the femme's gaze with his. "Are you hurt? Did something hurt you? Is that why you're afraid?" So many questions, so like a child, so like...well, Gann. He was the only pup to stand almost four feet tall and act chivalrous. But then again, he wasn't a pup. The male was an adult, he just...didn't feel like growing up yet. Yes, that was it. He didn't feel like growing up...

Her brows knitted together as he asked if she was alright then if she was hurt. She shifted slightly, moving to straighten up. It wasn't far, her chest now only a few inches above the soft ground. But her ears were still down, gaze only glancing at his eyes but mainly at his paws and the world around them. 'Im..Im fine.' She assured. 'Are..you okay?' she knew he was. He showed no signs of injuries or of being lost. She just wasn't sure what else to say or how to react.

Was he alright? Well, beside being thought of as crazy by some of the wolves he had met in the past... "Sure, I'm fine." He replied, venturing closer and cockig his head to the side. "But.. Why are you afraid?" Gann tried to keep his voice gentle, soothing, however the large male probably failed miserably because of his childish nature.
Sometimes he just didn't realize how big he was compared to faes, even when he stood next to one... "You know, you don't have to worry. I'm here and I won't let anything hurt you." The male said importantly, raising his head and puffing his chest out with another wag of his tail. For all intents and purposes, he looked almost knightly, but the goofy grin that spread across his grey muzzle somewhat ruined the heroic effects of his stance.

The words were kind, reassuring nd Nisha gazed at him for a long moment, thinking it over. She didn't want to be afraid but t the same time, such things were ingrained right into her. Her tail stayed tucked close to her body as she straightened up a bit more.
He meant no harm, she told herself, repeating the words over and over in her mind. She was doing her best to convince herself of that fact, to relax. She was in friendly territory. The wings on her back fluttered gently and she looked around the open field, seeing who all was around and wondering briefly how many would come to her aid if need be. Her bottom hit the ground as she shuffled her front paws.
'Who are you?' She questioned softly. Just wanting to know his name.

Gann was pleased to see her relaxing, even though it was a very small amount. Well at least she isn't running away. He thought as cheerfully as ever. "Who are you?" Gann grinned and made a theatrical bow. "The name's Gann ma'am and it's a pleasure to make your aquaintence." He chuckled a bit as he stood straight once again. "And what might your name be?" He asked in return with a kind and welcoming voice.
Bright and inviting eyes watched the femme as the male waited for her response. She was a pretty little thing and her wings truly were marvelous. He had met winged wolves before, sure, but none with such a unique sort. Instead of the feathered wings he was used to seeing, hers were those of a butterfly, delicately dusted and fluttering daintily. He was captivated by them, his eyes glancing between the limbs and the she-wolf's eyes as he waited for her to speak.

He gave a bow as well as his name. She lifted a brow slightly, not sure if she should be disturbed or charmed by it. She knew of tricksters who tried to play nice, doing nice gestures in over the top ways. No, she had to trust that he meant well. That no harm would come to her or anyone else in these lands because of him.
'Nisha,' she introduced with a small bow of her own head. 'Its nice to meet you, Gann.' She assured giving a tiny smile. No harm will come, no harm will come...

Nisha... What a nice name... Gann mused, that goofy grin still covering his face. "Nisha..." He echoed, tasting the name on his tongue, letting each letter bring a new sensation. "It's nice to meet you as well, Nisha." He replied seconds later, easing back on his haunches though this did nothing to reduce his size. The thickly furred pelt did nothing to help either.
Gann cocked his head to the side, looking at her curiously. "You know, I keep coming back to this, but I can't help thinking you're scared of something..." The male tried to keep his voice calm and gentle, tried to keep the puppyish curiosities and playfulness away from the deep lyric. He didn't want to scare her anymore than she already was and if she heard the laughter normally in his voice his kindness might be taken as a ruse. Perhaps it already had been, but how could he know? This fae was as unreadable to him as another timid she-wolf he had met long ago...

He repeated her nme and she waited for the name poking to come. Not tht it came often, but she was ready for it all the same. Then came the mighty question and she felt ashamed and slightly dumb for her reactions to everything. It was just so ingrained in her that it was hard to prevent. She licked her lips as she tried to adjust herself.
'I apologize,' she stated, 'Im just not comfortable around strangers.' She gave a smile, 'A lot of bad experiences.' She explained a bit further. Several bad run ins at that. 'But you're fine. Im okay.' He couldn't mean much harm, if any at all.

Gann whimpered at her reply. Usually, others avoided violent confrontations with him on account of his size, but he had stepped in on such things many times before and he could only imagine the things this she-wolf had seen to make her so frightened of others. Then again...he was trespassing... "I see..." He mused, lowering his belly to the ground to make himself seem smaller.
"Um.. You know...I'm not going to hurt you..." He laughed at himself, shaking his head slightly. "But I guess you've probably heard that before haven't you..." The male said, smiling apologetically and giving a wry, wolfish grin.

The wolf moved downward, resting on his stomach and diminishing his size some what. He was still huge irregardless, but she wasn't looking up nearly as much as she had been. He again tried to reassure her and Nisha shook her head. 'No I know you're not going to hurt me.' She frowned, 'Well, you may.' She shook her head and forced herself to sit, though stayed to the point where she wasn't too close to him where it was intrusive.
Gray eyes studied the ground for a moment and she glanced back to him, 'Are you from here?' Small conversation, one step at a time. Even if it was something small.
