Tiny snowflakes swirled gently in the chilly morning air, the sun vainly try to peek out from behind the swirling gray clouds. The forest was covered in a blanket of snow, fresh from the night before. The mostly bare trees were littered with the white stuff, collapsing at the slightest movement or sound beneath them.
Paw prints were visible coming from a small rock cave, weaving in an out of the trees at a leisurely pace, for the prints were spread out. There were several holes in the new snow, as if the owner of the paw prints had been looking for something underneath the snow.
Kyra's stomach was growling, and it was already well past early morning for her. Nothing was to be found in this barren forest, she thought sadly as she put her nose to the ground once more, trying to pick up even the faintest trail of game. Even a sickly deer would suffice. Not any luck here, she thought as she continued to pad through the forest.
Kyra wished her pack hadn't left her, especially at this time of the season, when food wasn't that plenty. If she were still with them, maybe she'd have a chance at some food. She cursed herself silently. She wished she wasn't so annoying, or that they didn't think she was so annoying. "Why couldn't they had abandoned me near the spring?" she asked miserably, wanting to lay down but not on the cold snow.

A Lone wolf walks out from the forest. Now about two years old and was taking a stroll a lone. He was a nice wolf that like to help other wolves he sighs and slowly looks around. Seeing the wolf he slowly start over bored and wanting to talk to someone. OOC: I hope this is good for you.

She lifted her nose up into the air, smelling the scent of the other wolf. She frowns slightly. It isn't food. She wasn't going to try to take down another wolf. No, she wasn't -that- strong. She pawed at the ground, thinking she had saw a rabbit hole. Yeah, she'd found one, but unfortunately it was empty. Maybe she could pick up the trail of the rabbits....

"Hello...what have we got here?" she jerked her head up abrubtly, brown bunny fur sticking to her cold wet nose. "Oh, hi there! I'm sorry, you see I was looking for a rabbit. I'm awfully hungry." she smiled, unconciously sitting down. Her bottom jerked up and she shivered; that particular patch of snow must've been extra cold.

"Tis a pleasure." He said politely. "If your hungry... Do you want to come on a hunt with me? I am hungry too." he said smiling looking at her happily Glad to see that she was nice. He smiles and looks at her.' i think you got something on your nose." he said looking at her.

"I do?" she asked, trying to look at her nose but only succeeding in making herself crossed eyed. She shook her head, ridding herself of the bunny hair. She wagged her long tail happily. "That'd be fun!" she paused. "I hope you know where some good food is, I'm starving." she exclaimed, smiling as her stomach growled loudly, making her embarrassed.

"I think i do... And if not we will find one." He said smiling happily, his tail also wagging a little. Then looking into the forest. "ladies first." he said bowing happily.

"I'm not a lady, I'm a girl." she told him, trotting past. Ladies sounded...to sophisticated for her standards. Plus, she never acted like a lady. She stopped. "If you know where it is, then why don't you lead?" she asked him, tilting her head slightly.

She followed a little ways behind, dipping her nose to the ground every so often, or putting it up in the air. Once she stopped to scratch behind her small ears, relieving the itch that had been bugging her. She stopped and looked up at the sky as the sun finally made it's way out into the open, shining beautifully down, turning her crimson coat to a blazing red.

A slender white hellhound was crouched nearby, hidden in the shadows. At the mention of a hunt, he nodded to the female raven perched on his shoulder, and began to follow the two wolves. He was, of course, a killer by nature, but if he could scavenge, or steal a kill from another, then he would. Nothing was beneath him.

Kyra wasn't paying much attention to Jet, too busy soaking up the sun now to be hungry. But still, she followed behind, running ahead and around him like a youngster. She was running ahead with eyes closed when she ran smack into a small tree, dizzying herself and earning a pile of snow on her head.

"No, no, I think I'm okay." she shook her head and body, trying to rid herself of the extremely cold snow. She looked back at him. "Continue to lead the way!" she bounded happily, the thought of food giving her energy.
