She dropped the fish so that she could speak. "I belong to the Night Wolves pack, she said. "I'm new here, so I don't have any good friends or anything. I mostly just wander around." She gestured at the fish with a paw. "Why did you let this get away?"

She shrugged, "I dunno. I guess I just wanted to catch one to say I did." she grinned a goofy smile. "Night Wolves Pack? I don't think I've heard of that pack just yet....I'm sure it's been said somewhere, but I've never been one to pay attention."

"This is part of their terra," she said. Her gaze fell upon the fish. "Are you hungry?" She herself was ravenous, having has little to eat for over a week, but it would have been impolite not to offer Kyra the fish. It was after all Kyra who had first spotted the fish.

"No, I'm okay right now. I found a small rabbit earlier." she smiled, rolling over in the very warm sand, but it wasn't scorching hot. Standing up, she shook herself free and sniffed around, thinking that she had felt something hit her back. After digging a few inches, she jumped back in surprise as a small red crab snapped angrily at her, scurrying back to the water.

She lowered her head and bit into the fish. It wasn't one of her preferred foods, the blood seeming watery to her. Nevertheless, she was hungry, and it was better than nothing.

Kyra followed the crab, careful not to get too close. The little red crab scurried into the receding waves, only to disappear as the waves washed back on shore. She followed slightly into the water, then running back to the shore. "Is it good?" she asked.

She wrinkled her muzzle slightly. "Not very," she said. "Have you ever had fish? They taste watery."

"No, I don't think I've had fish before." Kyra stated, trotting back over to her. "But it's better than nothing, right?" she asked, looking up as the glorious moon slowly rose, steam rising from the hot day from the sand.

"True," she replied, as that had been what she was thinking. "Do you want to try some?"

Kyra sniffed it slightly, taking a small nibble from the parts that remained intact. After chewing it like a cow would chew cud, she spit it out slightly. "Yuck. I hope I never have to eat fish." she gagged.

Myrror made a face. "Pretty awful, isn't it? I much prefer warm-blooded animals."

Kyra nodded whole-heartedly. "I'd only eat if I had nothing else to eat." she stated. "I prefer warm-blooded animals also. Much better than fish." She pushed the fish back toward the waves gingerly.

Myrror nodded. "Fish smell bad, too. It probably comes from living in water all the time..." She glanced up at Kyra.

"You think since they live in the water they wouldn't smell so bad." she commented, watching as the dead fish body floated back into the water.

Myrror shrugged. "They swim in their own filth, what can you expect?"
