She nodded. "That would be great, thanks."

"All right! Follow me!" she laughed, bounding off in the opposite direction, playing with the waves once more, running toward them when they receded, running away from them when they washed back upon the shore. Twice she avoided the little crabs, not forgetting the other one that had left its mark upon her nose.

Myrror easily kept pace with Kyra, her long legs carrying her effortlessly through the waves.

She reached the edge of the scarce forest where sand met dry grass. She trotted through the forest gateway, or two trees that stood near the very beginning of the forest, away from all the others. Plant life was oddly abundant, well, as abundant as a scarce forest is going to get.

She growled softly, scenting the air for prey.

"There isn't much here too hunt. Just small prey." she told the elder femme, nudging at the dirt slightly. "There are a lot of birds though." she looked up just in time to see a mother bluejay settle over her nest.

Myrror smiled at the bluejay. "Squirrels and rabbbits are fun to chase," she said.

"And even more fun to eat." Kyra agreed, continuing to walk through the scarce forest. She stuck her nose in a bush, trying to flush out any creature that might be hiding in there. But there was none.

She nodded agreement, then froze when a small movement caught the corner of her eye. A squirrel sat on a fallen log, an acorn held in its small clawed forepaws. It stared straight at the two wolves. Though Myrror knew the animal had seen her, she leapt in its direction. It darted away, scampering up onto a tree branch. The wolfess sat down, snarling angrily at it.

"You have wings, why don't you fly up there?" Kyra asked, walking over to where she sat. One paw scratched at the tree, as if that would make it come down. Already the trees had scratches on it from where she had made earlier marks.

"Good point..." she said, and extended her flame coloured wings. Leaping into the air, she flew to where the squirrel was sitting. It squeaked at her, and scurried away. Myrror growled at the squirrel's retreating form. She would not let it get away. Another leap, and she grasped the end of the squirrel's bushy tail in her mouth, crushing it's skull with one paw.

"Sounds like you got it." she laughed, looking up at her with a smile. "That'll teach that squirrel to try to get away from you! " She exclaimed childishly.

Myrror grinned and leapt to the ground, dropping the squirrel at her forepaws. With one savage movement, she tore the squirrel's stomach open and began to eat.

"Well, aren't you Miss Manners?" she chuckled. She sniffed the air slightly, the smell of blood strong in her nose.

She laughed harshly. "Manners?" she asked. "Never had much use for 'em."
