A long-legged, brown eyed, otherwise nondescript gray wolfess sat on the floor of the new Community Cave. She was waiting patiently, tongue lolling, for others to come.

Through the perplexing gloom of the labyrinthine caves disturbing such silence was caused by a creature undoubtedly that of a wolf. A conglomeration of various crystals were phosphorescent upon the many cavernous walls, but alas... the creature stalking beneath the church-high caves could not see them. Perhaps he was led to his destination by sense of innate direction.
This creature was an enigmatic creation, whom trotted steadily into the deeper depths. Moss covered parts of the many rocks beneath the large wolf; sprigs of floral moss flowers glowed. Pawsteps were brought heavilly onto the earth's surface, though such heavy footfalls caused a raucious chime and chink of nails scraping the solid stones, often silented by the coat of moss as he stepped over them, though devoid that he did so.
Due to loss of sight, milky-blue pools were apparent within heavy wolf sockets, which glowed through the heavy gloom. They were almost electric, but round, and contained eye excess upon the sides of his pools.
Canvas were shaggy, and peltage rather a dull, ebony colour, like a raven's soggy wings. Seemingly under-fed, but still a light step told others that he was quite healthy, as a wolf goes. Upon his shoulders, dual draconian wings were arched above his broad, though rather lanky back, wing blades pointed forward. Both were black, as well, but the ripped flaps were apparent. Blue veins were lightly surged about his wings, though faint hued they were. His tail were thin and ragged, sweeping behind him. A kind of a limp was present in step, as well.
Having sharper ears than a normal wolf's, ears would swivel forward. He could have sworn a noise was issued beyond the dank caverns. Curiousity gripped the better of him, so he followed his nose towards the mouth of the cave, to which led to the outside, to the wide open plains of the decaying Night Wolves Pack.
Perhaps the stranger might sence a presence coming due to a noise reverberating throughout the area... but that was for such a stranger to decide.

A small distance off, a young wolf was streaming across the plain, looking for a place to sleep. Seeing a cave nearby he supposed he would stop to rest for the night. He stopped for a drink in a pool. He stepped carefully and lightly, his velvety, padded feet making no sound. He stepped in unaware of anything but his tired body and snuggled down on a ledge near the opening.
He arose quietly without a sound, his strength regained. Velvety, padded feet barely stricking the ground as he picked up speed. Spread wings lifted the young wolf off the ground and mightily carried him to the air. As he was flying, soaring, he noticed a pack below. Slowly, steadily, wings glided the being down as soft, velvety paws reached the earth. He trotted onward. He had noticed a silvery flash of fur from above. He hurried down and spotted the being quickly. Ookira, for that was his name, walked up to her.
"Hello, Ukamirru." His soft voice carried to her ears and she lifted her head from a soft sleep.
She rose to meet her older brother. "Good to see you're here. This is the Night Wolves Pack. I joined a recently." Her mind whirled back to the day of her pack's attack and she remembered her brother's soft words of instruction as a pup. She had stayed in the spot where he'd hidden her and watched him go. She let her muzzle fall on his neck in relief she was not the only Moonwolf left.
"You too." He gave her a nuzzle before continuing, "I have traveled far in search for you." Do you know of any others?"
"No, but I am glad to see you."
He laid down and said, "Well, I've joined this pack, and hopefully, there are more than you and I that will come soon."
She returned to her sleep comfortable and relaxed.

Taerin raised his head from the ground as he heard Ukamirru's voice. His thick brown tail wagged once, in acknowledgement of the wolfess's prescence as he stepped out of the shadows.

She glanced over at him, and greeted him with a smile. "Hello Taerin. This is my older brother Ookira," she said pointing towards the figure beside her. Her ears laid back on her head as she continued. "What have you been up to? Her brother had again fallen asleep after his part of the story had been told. She wagged her tail rappidly upon the ground. I've been updating things with my brother.

He shrugged. "Dunno. I was bored... So I came here."

A sweet smile crossed her wolven face. She rose quietly, "Come on, I have some exploring to do. You'd be of good help." She wagged her tail and began slowly trooting off. She slowed a moment to see if he would follow.

He shrugged, as if to say "Whatever..." and then followed her at a leisurely pace.

She smiled as she trotted just ahead of him, wagging her tail in pleasure. She took in a deep breath letting the sweet smell of ferns and trees fill her nostrils. Her wings were follded behind her lying lightly on her back and the pre-amulet that hung around her neck swished side-to-side with her swinging motion. Her fur slightly bristled in the breeze her moving body was making, its silvery color gleaming in the moonlight. She looked back at her older brother, who was still sleeping. Rolling her eyes she looked at Taerin. "How big is this land, and where should we explore first?" Her words came excitedly, for she was currious and bursting with energy as sunrise was only a couple of hours away.

With some difficulty, he suppressed a laugh at the femme's energy. "It's huge," he said. "Um... wherever you want to go is okay."

She grinned at his laugh. She quickened her pace a bit and headed toward a cliff. "First, I want to watch the sunrise. Especially with how beautiful it always looks. Race you there, if you want, but, you're saying go." She slowed a little to pace along side him, waiting restlessly for his reply.

He crouched, ready to spring, and then barked "Go!" as he leapt forward.

She smiled with delight as she jumped ahead. She began laughing with glee as she strode along side him. Her body entirely relaxed as she gracefully moved along, waiting to release a final burst of speed, her paws softly touching the moving earth beneath her with every stride she took. Her muzzle stuck out as if reaching for something, her fur rippled in the wind. Her wings were tucked against her side and her tail streamed behind. Her tongue lulled out in a pleasureable manner, and her soft, white ears were lain back against her head.
Ookira awoke to see all was quiet. He saw the grass bent where his sister had been lying earlier. He pricked up his pointed ears, listening for any hints of where she might be. He saw where another wolf had come from the bushes and a trail led off in a random direction. His soft muzzle was glue to the ground as he trotted along following the smell of his little sister. The scent of the other wolf, was unfamiliar and strange to him. He didn't much like it but followed only with the urge burning inside him. It was mostly curiosity of everything but he didn't want to lose his sister again.
As he was trotting along, he eyed a movement a little beside him. He ignored it for a while, but chased after it until it dived deep into its burrow. A deep smile had grown on his wolfish face until he remembered the trail. He followed his steps back until he found it. To him, it took many hours though it had only been a few minutes. Catching the trail, he bolted off more following his hearing now. The sweet sound of his sister's laugh filled his ears. His blue eyes lit with a new sparkling light of excitement, and his tongue was lulling out. Soft, padded feet barely struck the ground. His fur rippled in the soft wind he was making. Wings were folded down along his silvery back. Tail streamed behind like a loose ribbon, floating around. He neared much quicker than he had expected. As he hurried along, he came out of the more shaded area he'd been traveling on and the rays of the sun's daily rise hit him in the face so that he halted, blinking in this new light. Slowly, his eyes became more accustomed to the light and he again took off at a lisurely pace.
He caught site of a silvery tail swinging back and forth and another tail beside it. He slowed to a trot, breathing quite heavily with the run he'd just had. Tongue lulling out and panting he took a drink from a small puddle left alone in the packed earth. He now only went quickly enough to watch his sister's running body, waiting for the appropriate time to approach.

He put on a burst of speed, but then stopped abruptly as he smelled Ukamirru's brother. He froze, with one forepaw still raised, his ears back very slightly. A questioning growl escaped through his parted mouth, and his good eye scanned his surroundings warily.
