She jumped to her feet her tail wagging. "Yeah, me too," she smiled. "I'll race you to the meadow nearby where there is lots of room." she said. She crouched down, looking at the place where they would end up.
"Ready...set..go," came her playful voice, and she took off with a bound. Her ears laid back against her head and her tongue lulled out. Her tail wagging all the while. She ran, the ground consumed under her feet. She wondered whether she was to win or lose, or if neither would win. |

Taerin grinned and began to run, keeping pace with Ukamirru. A happy bark escaped him as he smiled at his mate.

She smiled back at him, and she yipped happily. Her muscles surged as she went to run faster, easily dodging rocks and tree roots that were in her path. "Last one there is rotten meat," she called happily wagging her tail. |

Taerin put on a burst of speed in an effort to pass Ukamirru. He stumbled slightly as a hindpaw clipped a small rock, but he quickly regained his balance.

She giggled happily. She looked back to see how much further he had to go before he would pass her. She looked in front to see the meadow not far ahead. Her paw caught on a tree root and she tripped, falling down. "Crap," she said as she rose back to her feet. "Oh well," she said with a smile, and hurried to gain her feet. I hope I didn't lose to much ground, she thought as she again began to run. |

Taerin paused and glanced over his shoulder when Ukamirru fell. As soon as he was sure she wasn't hurt, he continued to run.

She smiled and ran with delight. Her speed constantly increasing she soon caught up to him, at least her maw was to his rump. She laughed and ran happily, her tongue lulling to the side of her mouth and her breath coming heavy. Only a few yards stood in their way. She knew she wasn't to win, this time, but it did not bother her in the least. |

Taerin came to a stop a few yards away. He was panting, his tongue lolling out, as he grinned at Ukamirru.

Ukamirru pulled up beside him with a wide smile on her face as her tongue lulled. She was panting pretty hard. "You win, this time," she said happily. "That was fun." She licked him softly on the muzzle and then trotted out into the grassy field. "And this is beautiful," she said, admiring the grassy area. She sniffed a flower wagging her tail and plopped down on the ground. She stuck her paws up in the air in play, "Isn't it?" she asked, looking softly at him. |

Taerin nodded, and lay down next to Ukamirru, rolling over onto his side. "Yes," he agreed. "It is."

She took a deep sigh. She turned her head to lick his maw and then stood on her feet. She sat down and looked at him, smiling. Her tail curling around her. "Are you up to play around, or are you just going to lay there?" she asked with a grin |

Taerin grinned at her, standing. He trotted in a circle around the femme, wagging his tail.

She watched him for a moment and then smirked. She began playfully nipping at him, as if he were the object and she were suppose to get him as he moved around her. She jumped and bounded about in circles, playfully barking, nipping, and yipping as she went along. |
