OOC: And thus! I jump in! Fear me, if you dare! o.0 Even from many good fair miles away, the Alpha heard it.
It happened, in such a short amount of time.
Here was the beast, his massive form piled up on the round surface of a boulder, in the midst of cherry blossoms and thick, finger-like ferns, lush in this quiet, peaceful summer-eve...
Eyes flew wide open, to which pupils were as small as a pencil-point.
Triangular ears were thrusted up high.
He brought his monstrous form straight up...
It was a rushing pattern of screams and gushing scents of blood that turned this creature to a point of pure terror, for he knew his pack was in danger.
An old scent...
An old nemesis...
Older than Ryannktsu...
"Oh my God, it can't be!"
His thunderous voice was carried out in all kinds of directions as he scrambled his ancient body away from the forest, and into the pack's inner territory.
Everything looked fine here... and yet...
A fresh, screaming voice echoed some where to his left, and emedietely, as if every inch of his veins were on fire, bounded straight towards the source of the terrible noise, and sickening scent of blood...
It was, alas, a cub's blood...
His heart seemed to have fallen, and stick to his ribs as he shot like a speeding arrow towards one of the wolves. This wolf was his son, Kusu, a large silver-hued wolf.
"Watch the pack! Muster the wolves, and stay together!" he ordered, his voice breaking.
"It can't be him..." he muttered, slowing to a halt near the borders of Shinkou.
Alas, there was the beast, in the flesh, crimson blood filling the area like a pool... a bloodbath, murderious, raging, bloody... Ghost.

He was trapped. No matter how anyone looked at the situation, he was trapped. Ghost’s slave had kept him there; he could not move. He froze in the act of raising a paw to try to climb a tree, paralyzed. Ghost was coming. Tyke stared at the creepy spirit, the decayed soul who floated there morosely. He knew she had no choice. She was a slave. He was the victim. They were helpless.
Tyke could hardly hope for any help to come. Ghost was coming; he was still coming. Closer, closer. Tyke shut his eyes. He had only one scrap of hope left. Rewind Ghost’s personal time. Youthen him. Could it work on such a creature? Tyke had no idea. Even if it did work, what good would it do? Tyke didn’t know. But he didn’t have anything else he could try. He had nothing to lose. Once he activated his power, he would not deactivate it until…well, until he was dead, or until Ghost was gone. He had no choice. Nobody had any choice.
Tyke heard Ghost behind him. He held his breath, and released his power, aimed only at the thing that was just behind him. If it worked…Ghost would suddenly find himself rapidly getting younger. Years would pass by in seconds. If it worked. Who knew? With any luck, it might work, and it might hold Ghost’s onslaught until help came and Tyke was free. If. Tyke’s life was poised on that short word. If…

More Human Than Human
-Rob Zombie, more human than human
The air was heated with tension and the sickly feeling of death, yet the approching creature of gore and a diseased passion for blood seemed to be overly enjoying himself. The air was riddled with short, piercing screems, the product of the birth of his female minions. Steadily he approached Tyke, a malicious grin on his lips, and although his gaze remained conceiled by his hair, one could almost see their firey red burning through the layer of tresses, growing more and more intense with each step.
However, the power that forced itself from Tyke's small body indeed force him to take a step back, and the force of which it hit him caused his hair to whip around wildly, allowing those horrible eyes to rome about freely, death and destruction still caught up within them. In fact, he rather seemed to be enjoying the fact that his body had begun to heal and the bleeding stopped, only to open back up from wounds he had opened up years ago. This lasted several minutes, and yet his body hardly seemed to de-age at all...until a most horrific sight became anyone watching. Slowly his body began to grow solid, his skin coloration taking on a sickly tone, looking utterly rotted and diseased. Gradually it worked it's way up his body until it reached his face, turning him into a mumified version of himself, eyes having long been eaten away and a noose lingered about his neck. More disturbing however, was the crooked grin that was spread across his lips in his dead state. It was at this stage that his minions and slave began to whither for a moment, and the barked warning of another voice out a little too late.
"TYKE! STOP...NOW!!" Panic was lain very thick in this one lone wolf's voice, but it would seem he was not quite quick enough to hault Tyke's power. By turning back time, Tyke had unknowingly granted Ghost living flesh once more, and unknown to the poor whelp, Ghost was indeed more terrifying alive than he was when he was dead.
Darting forward, shagged pelt of sandy hue was brought into view, sturdy body rippling with muscles now placed between tyke and the monstrocity who had momentarily fallen to the ground. And it was all over within a matter of seconds.
Blood sprayed the ground and a loud yelped bark echoed throughout the night, ghost able to move and react to things a little bit faster than he had as an illusion. He was able to feel, able to smell, able to actually taste the blood that dripped from his fingertips. Hunched slightly over the body of Shinkou's former Beta male, his back rose and fell heavily, his body silhouetted save for the eerie red of his eyes. He had been brought back from the dead, and although the rules of the living now applied to him, it didn't make him any less of a threat. In fact, in reality, he had become more of a nightmare than before.

oOc| what the...NO! you did not just kill Shawn. holy guacamole, kiku, your mind is twisted!
ok, you know now that i just have to bring Solarfyre in too. geez, what a plot. guess i'd better get rping.
Tyke was completely unaware of the changes he was making, concentrating on bringing Ghost down to a helpless age. But to transform the dead back into oblivion is going through many years, centuries even: and Tyke did not have enough power to reduce Ghost to nonexistence. He ran out of energy just as Ghost was in his prime…and too late for Tyke, he realized he only made the situation worse. And then came Shawn.
Tyke opened his eyes at the former Beta’s call, then instantly wished he hadn’t. Shawn had sprung between Tyke and the renewed Ghost, but for an instant—and then, the strong wolf was dead, bloodied. And Tyke had his death on his conscience. He had selfishly tried to help himself by activating his power—and only succeeded in killing Shawn, and probably many other wolves before this terror was over—if it will ever be over. Tyke took a step back, knowing it was the end for him and possibly for Shinkou…because of his foolishness, he had condemned the entire pack. And then, a whirling globe of white-hot fire, twice as large as Tyke himself, came hurtling from out of nowhere towards the now-living Ghost!
“SHAWN!” The scream was torn from Solarfyre’s throat, full of agony, despair, and passionate hatred. She had never felt so angry before—to the point where she didn’t care if she lived anymore. “I may die,” she hissed, becoming fire even as she spoke, hot embers spewing from her mouth, “but I will take that zombie bastard with me!” She had followed close behind Shawn, but was too late to save him—too late for anything. But she would avenge her mate’s death.
She poured energy into a vivid white-hot sphere, which blazed like a very tiny sun, and once it was created, shot it at the living Ghost. Sol herself was close behind her creation, a furious whirlwind of fire, viciously making her way towards her beloved’s murderer. As far as Sol was concerned, this was the end…

00c||I hope you guyz don't mind me join in the fun!! I love this rp!! ;D
Peltage of classic grey, white wings of what seems came from an angel, greying muzzle, growing whiter every year, eyes golden as any wolf; stopped suddenly. The old femme of the name of Paula, snarled as she shook and her hackles rose. She sensed an evil soul, loss, blood, pain, regret, revenge, death, and helplessness. it all mean't one thing she had been waiting for all her life.
//The time has come; the great challenge of my life.//
She leaped, heading towards the time she had been waiting for all her life, and she was uncertain of what would happen. It was either death or life, good or evil, loss or gain.
The senses reminded her of the past in youthful time. Times of regret, death, guilt. Regret most of all. As she wandered from pack to pack, she overcame the darkness inside her. But with old age creeping up like a snake on a mouse, weakness brought back some of the pain. what was to happen, when she is to face the darkest thing in her life?

Within the shadows a safe distance from this creature lurked a being. Steel colored pelt flickered in the wind as eyes gazed intently at the being. This being seemed to wonder if it was wise to make his presense aware to that awefull thing. Deep purple eyes glinted at the prospect of power that comes with the assistance to tyrants.
And so it was that this creature began what was almost certainly a suicidal quest. Slowly it stepped from the shadows so close to this Ghost fellow that it might have even been startling. This being looked majestic and destructive. It was frightening how calm he was in the face of what seemed to be death itself. One each front flank was a star. The left was silver in color while the right was gold.
Quickly the being stopped and gazed at the scene. So much blood. The scent was arousing the inner demon in this creature. A smirk came across the lips of this being and it waited to be noticed. He had a proposition for this new atrocity. One that might perk their interest greatly.

ooc: I had some kind of reply written down somewhere, but I lost it. I've attempted to reconstruct it here, but it didn't quite work.
A slender wolfess of pure white pelt slunk cautiously across this barren land, her body low to the dusty ground. Blind white orbs gazed sightlessly about, for this female sensed that something was amiss. One small white forepaw trod in a sticky liquid, and Laurelinde recoiled in disgust before lowering her head to sniff at the ground. Blood, that of a pup from the smell of it. An involuntary shudder shook her frame. What evil had taken place here?
She was frightened now, and set off at a slightly faster pace, weaving her way around the rocks and sparse plant life that littered this landscape. The thin silver chain around her neck rattled slightly, seemingly of its own accord, as she approached the place where, unknown to her, Ghost stood.

Tyke stared in horror as Solarfyre became a terrible cyclone of flame, aimed for Ghost. He looked around wildly, hoping for an escape from this horrific battle, and hoping also for an exit from his magnificent blunder. Several scents bombarded him at once, away from this place of death and fire, this truly hellacious inferno. More wolves, more pack members! He wanted to scream, to warn them away from this awful place, but he knew it would do no good. He would not be heard among this cacophony of chaos. The puplike urge to flee rose in him; he wanted someone to save him. He had done more than enough damage for one day.

The old she-la flew, and then saw a horrific seen she was not expecting. The horrible stench filled her nostrils, so overwhelming she wanted to flee, but she knew that she could not hide from this creature; it was in her already. The same evil spirit that had controlled her every full moon to kill everything and anything in her path. The spirit she overcome, but must still overcome the main source. But, was she able to do it in such an old age?
//No matter, it doesn't matter if I die, I'm an old miserable wolf that lost her mate ages ago. that was the only thing that mattered in my life, and it's gone. No, he's gone. If I die, I will join him.//
She flew down, and saw the Beta dead. She could not believe what she was seeing. Instincts told her to not seek revenge;it would be worth her life, and she would not die uselessly, if fate told her to die.
ooc||Hey guys, when I mean the same evil spirit, I mean by evil itself, not Ghost. Just though I'd let you know.

I'm tearing away Pieces are falling I can't seem to make them stay You run away Faster and faster you can't seem to get away Break Hope there's a reason For questions unanswered I just don't see everything Yes I'm inside you Tell me how does it feel to feel like this Just like I do I don't care about anyone else but me I don't care about anyone Do I really want this Sometimes I scare myself I just can't let it go Can you believe it Everything happens for reasons I just don't know I don't care about anyone else but me God damn I love me
-Drowning Pool, Tear away
The wind about the surrounding area thrashed about heatedly, violently tumbling random strands of everyone's hair within a 100 ft radius, ghost being the centerpoint. It was bonechilling despite the obvious amount of heat in the air.
Smoothly he shifted out from the shadows, clearly unnerved by the rappidly approaching figure of Solarfyre, and allowed all that were near to gaze upon his figure fully without a shadow to interrupt the breathtakingly horrific image he had created. Leather pants clung tightly to his thighs and waist, his leather boots gripping the ground with tiny metal spikes that were attached to the bottom of them; cleats from hell. Whipping about his bare chest, a trenchcoat of bloodred leather slapped at his skin, the likes of which was pierced randomly all over with metal spikes and earring gauges. Slightly more disturbing was the pieces of barbed wire that was wound about his entire body like a serpent, digging deeply into his living flesh and binding his hands, making it impossible for him to move. And yet without so much as flinching he had managed to slaughter Shawn in this state, the poor beta's head now held between the ground and one of Ghost's heavy spiked leather boots.
Wild eyes looked around the surrounding area suggestively, his tongue flitting out to lick the barbed wire that drew across his mouth, and in doing so, cut his tongue and clearly enjoyed the taste of his own blood that was now pooling in his mouth. As a living being and no longer a floating illusion, he was now capable of feeling pain, a feeling that caused him pleasure to a degree most of us never reach in our lifetime. A slightly more disturbing fact however, was now that he was out of his ghostly form, he was now capable of logical thought and no longer was he imprisoned to the insane babble that he carried on with him into the afterlife. Grinning, his lips curled upward seductivly, and had one not known his utter rotten self, they could say that he was indeed attractive...in his own way. White hair blew about his face breezily, a lazy look on his features as his attention turned towards Solarfyre, and spoke while simultaniously pulling off several stunts.
"His blood tastes delicious..." A quick grin as his wrists ran clear through the barbed wire, snapping it as though it were sillystring, although the gash now decorating his arms suggested otherwise. His foot now rested on the shoulderblades of the dead beta male, Ghost reached down quickly, his hands working to snap off this noble wolf's head in one sick twisted crunch of bone and the rip of flesh. Grinning maliciously, he stood hunched, Shawn's head within his hands, the skull dripping with blood as he hurled it towards Yueh, his other hand reaching for the necklace that shawn had worn, which contained Loki.
"Time to play hide and seek...lets see if you can find me." A laugh was issued from Ghost's mouth as his eyes darted back towards Solarfyre. Quickly he waved goodbye to her in a mocking sort of way, and vanished behind a veil of his minons, all of which stood in the way of anyone that might attack. As would be expected, Ghost's slave had also disappeared from view, and the only lingering memory of him was his scent which lead to nowhere.
((no that's not the end xP lol he's left a crapload of his minions to keep you all buisy...feel free to rip them appart and do whatever you want to them at the moment. Ghost has decided to relocate himself inside the borders of Shinkou. xP But where you'll just have to see. bwahahahaha! ))

“YOU—NO!”
Solarfyre’s shriek of frustration and hatred echoed around her, as she witnessed Ghost defile her beloved mate’s body and seize his most precious possession. Loki. Sol’s eyes blazed with further anger. The demon betrayed him! Loki had not come for Shawn, not even to save his host’s life. The only pleasure Sol took in this was that Loki was gone too. A needless aggravation…worse than useless. She was suddenly filled with an emptiness she’d never felt, not even when she was a lone wolf. A void that could not be filled. Love left her in an instant, dying along with her mate, and cold fury took its place. I will fight him. One of us will die. I don’t care which, but one of us must die! She let forth a howl of this unconcealed rage and agony, then stepped forth, her flaming form still afire with power and passion. He’s left his little slaves, the bastard, she thought, glaring fully at the army of minions now facing them. They are not my affair. Ghost is my affair now. He made it so when he killed my mate, ravaged his body, and stole Loki.
She searched with blazing eyes until she saw Tyke, the one Shawn had died to protect. The one who youthened Ghost to a much worse form. Surprisingly, Sol felt no anger at Tyke’s desperate act. She merely felt a wave of pity for one so young who believed himself so old. I must take him back. It’s what Shawn would have wanted. She approached him, letting her fires die as she did so, and picked him up. The poor thing was so tired and frightened he did not resist. Sol looked around, saw Yueh, and nodded acknowledgment. Yueh will take care of this army. I am not needed here. There were other wolves too, strong wolves, who would make the minions’ nonexistant lives hellacious. I’ve got to get out of here, find a safe place for Tyke, and then…confront Ghost. With a plan in mind she began to lope away, then paused when she reached her mate’s headless body. He does not deserve this, she thought vehemently. With a last affectionate nudge, Sol set Shawn’s corpse ablaze, letting the winds carry his ashes where they willed. It’s time to go. With one last backward glance, she and Tyke escaped that place of death, sorrow, and agony.

Paula landed down to the scene, gasping at the horror as she saw the Alpa's severed head lying on the floor, blood everywhere, she saw his mate taking the pup, she saw that Ghost was gone, she saw everything, and it left horror. But she must be strong.
She turned to the female.
//What happened here?//
She didn't have to ask it, she could smell the story, but he must know the details, in order to find Ghost.
She shuddered, her saggy pelt, looking towards her fate, or her destiny. It doesn't matter, she thought,I'm too tired to go on anyway.
