In the midst, as Shirokiba was still battling with the minions, he looked towards the Alpha to see what was going on, and he suddenly shook his head, blinking a few times as if he wasn't seeing correctly, and then his eyes gained a look of complete confusion. He wished he could hear what the two were saying, or know what they had been saying, but even then, he was not sure. He shrugged, supposing it wasn't his business, but then what if it was. He cocked his head slightly, what had happened to Kangetsu, firstly, and why was there, or at least it looked like there were two Yuehs. What was going on?
He whirled, slicing through a minions form and leaving it dead upon the ground. Perhaps he shouldn't worry too much, but was it a sign of some sort. Even if it was, he wouldn't be able to understand it, and so, he simply returned to the battle, growling and snarling, and tearing at the minions. But his mind was still wondering about it. He heard the words of the Alpha as he fell once more, his ears twitching as he did, and anger at Kangetsu arising to a higher and growing extent.
Were they really to win this battle? Or was it to be a lost battle later. Hopefully not, and even then what if it were so. He wondered how many minions were left. Surely they had made a large dent in their numbers by now. He gazed around at the battlefield, blood and death everywhere. He supposed all they could do was to keep fighting, until either they died, or the minions were destroyed.
Even with his curiosity, he did not go near Yueh and...Kangetsu? For it really would do no good, and perhaps even then, be worse. For, presumably he would probably get himself killed, and so that added a reason why he should just stick to the minion battling. His mind began to wonder what the true outcome of this would be, but he decided whatever it was, that if it were good, then all would be well, but if not so good, well, he didn't quite want to think about that. Neh, he simply continued to battle, slicing his claws through yet another minion.

It all happened so fast, within the flicker of a lightning bolt and Metalvash hadn't been able to even see an attack. Charged occulars of a now purplish-blue hue cast themselves upon his leader, the noble and powerful wolf Yueh. He had fallen...and was kneeling before this elder looking wolf that struck a disturbing likeness to Yueh himself. It was unnatural to see such a proud creature fall to his knees in such a mannor...had they already lost?
Distracted by his thoughts, a minion had gotten the better of him and was not proceeding to claw at his neck, though the first prick from it's sharp claws and he came running back to reality, his gaze frothing over entirely with the color of electric purple...and no sooner had this action been carried out, did a rather angry and large lightning bolt come tearing down from the sky and struck the pathetic creature too it's doom, leaivng the body charred and occasionally sparking with a bit of electricity.
"YUEH!!" Cranium craned over his shoulder as vocals carried out cleanly through the mass of chaos surrounding him. "Don't give into that bastard! GET UP AND FIGHT!" Vocals were gruff and harsh, a command and an order shouted at him encouraging him to get off his ass. Being the only other council member present, it fell to him as a duty to protect...and as Yueh didn't seem to be in his right mind, he assumed it right of him to even give his leader an order.
It was all he managed to say to the majestic brute, for at the call of his voice, twenty or so of the minions decided to make them their next target and attacked all at once, dogpiling him to the ground.
~~~
"Dra bydr ryc paah cad vun oui Yueh. Oa ryja pakih du naymewa ryjah'd oui." ((The path has been set for you Yueh. Ye have begun to realize haven't you.))
The gravely vocals mixed with the heated atmosphere as his good, pure white glowing eye set its sights upon the lowered Yueh.
"Tu hud dno du vekrd ed, ed femm pa aycean yht macc risemeydehk ev oa zicd keja eh huf. Pameaja drec uha...vun e ryja ymnayto kuha drnuikr dra byeh."((Do not try to fight it, it will be easier and less humiliating if ye just give in now. Believe this one...for i have already gone through the pain.))
oOc| mmkay, even though i pulled out my original characters from this plot, this is too fun to keep out of for very long.
He was in the midst of a battle. His golden-black draconic wings were flung out wide, and the winds came to him in their obligation to him. Small cyclones whirled around the nearby minions, lifting them in a helpless position so Keroberos could attack with bared fangs and outstretched claws. Seven minions fell to the ground after being suspended, destroyed by Kero’s wrath. And with their deaths, Kero had a clear view of his brother Yueh and…and…Yueh?
No, it could not be; it was implausible; his own eyes were deceiving him. But the creature who stood by his brother looked identical to the Alpha, only…more elderly…Kero had a sudden feeling of foreboding as he stared at the duo. This is all too strange, too mysterious, for me to fathom. Who is this being that Yueh faces? Kero only had a few moments to stare in disbelief and horror before a determined minion flung itself on his back, digging claws into his vulnerable flesh. Kero roared, the sound reverberating against the trees, and turned, his own claws tearing the minion off his back, leaving great gash marks. Kero grimaced in the pain, but he’d suffered worse: they would heal in time. But now he reared up, majestically, and became truly a lion-wolf hybrid. His cordy tail whipped out from behind him, striking a minion in the face, and his pointed fangs glistened. He did not hesitate, tearing the minion’s throat out before it even had a chance to react, then whirling around and swiping his claws on the face of the minion behind him. The mystery of Yueh and his opponent were driven from his mind as the battle-fever took over Kero, and he leaped with the intent to kill…
Distant noises managed to reach the fallen Alpha's ears. As he lay crouched like a suffering pup, he'd pick up his head just enough to show that he was listening to them all. Yueh! he heard, shouted by a variety of voices all around him. Yet they were distant, as if miles away. He could not see them properly. Everything moved like a blur, more so in slow-motion again, as his mind was being broken. Alas... he could just make out the figure of Metalvash, one of his new beta's... and his brother, Keroberos... and that wolf that saved him earlier... they were all there, supporting him, just as he supported them...
"I REFUSE TO LISTEN!" Yueh ejaculated loudly, spitting as he sat up, facing Kangetsu, yet stumbling around like a blind wolf."I... I WON'T!" he called again, rising onto his large paws. His wounds all over his broken body split open, gushing out more blood, yet he was oblivious to to the pain. "I will not let it happen..." At that instant, the large diamond that served as his trustworthy amulet shimmered. Soon, it began to pulsate into it's regular light of blinding white, but just as Yueh attempted to summon a power to destroy both himself and Kangetsu, the amulet's light had failed. It seem to shudder for a moment. As Yueh realized that his amulet was failing, he cried out, "No... I don't believe it..." He was wide-eyed, yet as he spoke, his words were wearisome and feeble. His amulet refused to come to his call, for reasons that he was weak and another that Yueh couldn't fathom at this point.
"Damn you," he croaked, gazing up again at Kangetsu. Breathing heavily, he attempted to approach this monster that was his future self. Yueh's brain began to whirl once more, as he tried to think of another plan. But as he contemplated, grinding his crimson-filled jaws, he looked down to an utter surprise. His amulet began to swirl in dark matter. No no, Yueh thought, No, no, no, no, no... He didn't know what to do, but it was happening; it was innevitable. A sound like glass creaking was heard within the core of the ebony-filled stone. At that moment, the entire amulet exploded in a mass of broken shards of glassy diamond, flung in all directions, and cutting into Yueh's pelt. A yell escaped Yueh's voice, a yell that spoke of intense pain. He knew he was dead, there was no doubt about it; being parted from his amulet was like being parted from his soul. Yueh collapsed, his eyes half-open (yet the other remained very much closed, for that bloody scar still remained), yet he was still breathing. His amulet gone, he had no power.
Dark thoughts began to swirl within his mind. Yueh saw death, horror, and blood everywhere, and he could not escape from it. He saw WyndBain dead at his feat; he saw Raven's decapitated head upon a jagged, upright stone; he saw Keroberos torn from every bloody angle; his entire pack... bodies everywhere... his children and loved ones brutally murdered...
Yet there was another side of him, fighting a battle within his mind. WyndBain kissing his face; Keroberos laughing and tagging with him; Metalvash becomming a proud Beta; his children growing up to be adults; their land becomming fresh and beautiful... It was all a battle, both good and evil snarling and fighting in his head, yet all Yueh could do was stumble around, still confused, breathing heavily... yet he could hardly stand, for his legs were as weak as a newborn whelp's, and his entire body felt very heavy, like a boulder that weighed a ton.
He will not give up as long as there was a single breath in his body.
Paula saw everything, but she had no control. Her body was slashing at everything, for now only the minions, but had the wolves heard her?
Whatever was happening to Yueh, she knew it was horrible. She had no idea what to do.
But the sun was coming up and the moon down. She regained control, but now she was weak, and the minions, were starting to get her. Her claws were slashing, her fangs biting,but she was weak and old; how could she defeat them now? She must have been a fool thinking there was hope, for there was; but very little of it, or was there no hope at all?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Itena was flying across and gasped at the decay and blood in the fields. Then she saw in the middle of it, Paula, her grandmother?! She could sense it was an important battle, and she saw the beta, and saw...the corpse of Shawn?! She must fight against the creatures the wolves were fighting, for the alpha.
She flew down to Paula. She never knew she would see her grandmother again, and now she sees her bloodied. The horror, she thought.

Shirokiba turned, his ears twitching with the words of the Alpha. The Alpha, he was in trouble! He growled, no longer paying any attention to the minions. Instead he was racing, running, speeding towards the great Alpha. Growl after growl escaped him, his breath coming in pants as he loped along, his paws making a steady beat upon the earth, though really none could hear it.
Suddenly, he skidded to a hault, a bright light from the Alpha's jewel rising then fading. He could see that Yueh was fighting something, but what? Was Kangetsu doing something to him? He snarled, his tail twitching as he watched in horror. Suddenly, a loud shaddering sound pierced through the air as the Alpha's amulet split, shattering into tiny bits and knocking upon the ground. Even to him, the world now seemed to be in slow-motion for a few moments. His maw hung open in disbelief, in terror, in awe, in fright. What was to happen? The Alpha, the only one strong enough, their leader, had lost his power. He looked back at Keroberos, the brother of the Alpha, and at the new beta, Metalvash. Perhaps a spark of hope was added to his heart, but even so, he still watched the scene before him in horror.
He winced as he saw the Alpha fall, once more onto the ground, upon his knees before the elderly fellow. It wasn't right. Evil shouldn't...no evil couldn't...no, evil wouldn't prevail. He looked up, a new source of energy burning within him. His heart now was alive with a burning fire, his mind with anger at Ghost for bringing such evil to the Shinkou lands, and hope that evil would not prevail. Unless.
He looked around wildly, angrily ripping to shreads the first minion in sight. He suddenly went on a wild rampage, tearing through that pack of evil creatures, tearing and snapping like never before. He made his way through the rampant towards the fallen Alpha. No, this wasn't happening. He had to somehow help him. "Yueh!" He called as he ran towards him, but he was unsure of the others consciousness, or even perhaps, well he wasn't sure. He could only hope.
He was now almost at the Alpha's side, but something made him stop. He looked now at Kangetsu. That evil creature. "What have you done!" he yelled in anger and confusion, glaring at the elderly creature with hate. He knew that he was but a piece of dust in Kangetsu's eyes. For, even his one-hundred and fifty years was not but a dent in either the Alpha's or Kangetsu's years. Not to mention the great power that Kangetsu possesed. He growled, not getting any closer, not wanting to take any chances.
He went around however, avoiding Kangetsu, but now focussing on Yueh. Oh if only there were something he could do. He had already seen a pack go down in his past. He had already lost to much in his past. No, no, no, this wasn't happening. He was dreaming, but neh, it was real. He watched in despare at the broken body of the Alpha. His eyes glanced at the shattered jewel. 'Why? he thought. He growled once more, his lips curling into a snarl, angrily glaring at Kangetsu.

Laurelinde was far from Yueh, and knew not what had befallen the great alphen. She knew nothing of the creature that called himself Kangetsu.
A deep gash upon her shoulder bled freely, inflicted by the minion that she was currently battling. She could not see her foe, of course, and this did make things more difficult for her. Her other senses aided her, though, as she now snapped viciously at the demonic creature.
Fangs pierced flesh, even meeting bone, and the minion gave an unearthly screech that hurt the wolfess's ears and made her fur stand on end. Growling, she rose onto her hind legs, biting at the creature's throat. A gurgling cry emanated from torn vocal chords, and it fell forward, limbs twitching.
Laurelinde did not like this. While the minions were keeping her, and several other wolves, it seemed, busy, where was their master, the creature known as Ghost?

Shirkokiba did indeed know of his weak strength compared to the two beings before him. He glanced once more at the great Alpha, hoping for the very best, though he could only hope, for the likeliness of him even having a chance against this powerful creature whom had taken on his leader's form, was so small it might have been a single grain of sand on a large seashore.
He looked up once more at Kangetsu, growling and snarling angrily. Oh how many things he wanted to say to that old creature, but he knew they would be invain, plus they would most likely make him angry and he could get himself killed. He simply continued to watch him, growling. "Yueh!" he called once more, trying to get the Alpha's attention, perhaps help him some.

Paula saw what was happening, and did not now what she was doing, instinct made her run towards Kangetsu;growling. She's had enough, she didn't care anymore, she just wanted to get rid of all the suffering.
//I've had enough!! I won't let you do anymore suffering!!!//She snarled,//I won't let you do this!//
She snarled as she used all of her energy on this attack. She attempted to tackle Kangetsu; not hesitating; she couldn't stop herself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Itena gasped as she saw her Grandmother run straight towards danger, her eyes wide with fear for Paula. What does she think she's doing?
But a minion was coming close to her, so she her mind went back to battle.
//I hope she's okay...//
Shirokiba backed up, looking on in surprise. "WHAT ARE YOU CRAZY???" he shouted at Paula. Kangetsu would surely destroy her in an instant. He made no move to stop her however, for though he desperately wanted to, he thought it wiser to keep himself alive and try to help out the Alpha not to far in front of him. He looked around, maybe he could throw a stick at her, but then neh, that would be useless. He gave a sigh, looking to the side, not wanting to watch her death.
The air had become strangely stiff and slightly hard to breath, the electric energies reflected off of both Yueh and Kangetsu pulsating strongly through the destructive atmosphere that had settled around all living creatures like a thick fog.
"Linca sa yc oui fecr Yueh, ed crymm hud ymdan ouin linnahd bydr." (Curse me as you wish Yueh, it shall not alter your current path.)
Kangetsu paused breifly, his gaze gathered upon Yueh, not at all affected by what he was seeing. He had of course lived through it and knew exactly what was to happen next.
"Ev oa vyem du yllabd ouin vyda...e vayn ouin desa ryc lusa du vyla dra sycdan. Fa yna hud sayhd du vekrd...vun ed fuimt uhmo mulg ic eh yh adanhym pyddma vun frelr haedran fuimt feh. Ed fuimt pa mega vekrdehk ouin ufh seht. Yllabd ouin vyda...ed fuh'd pa muhk huf."(If ye fail to accept your fate...i fear your time has come to face the master. We are not meant to fight...for it would only lock us in an eternal battle for which neither would win. It would be like fighting your own mind. Accept your fate...it won't be long now.)
The aged looking alpha now arched his neck slightly, wings extending to their fullest, an impressive wingspan that was sure to awe even the most experienced wolf, and it was here that this old timer turned his attention on the oncomming wolf, his one good eye burning with the intensity of a thousand red suns...thus casting it's coloration in a more intense white. What happened next was a little short of spectacular, this old brute's bellow loud and throaty as the elements of his craft came to his call, expanding out from him like that of a sonic boom, flattening anything in it's path, demonic minion and wolf alike. The only way you wouldn't have gotten pushed over by such a force, was if you had already been crouched low to the ground.
Kangetsu's body was on fire, as white whispy flames flickered off from the tips of his fur while his icy elememnt swirled about him as well in the form of crystalized water...snowflakes to be more precise. He then turned onto Yueh, his good eye narrowing ever so slightly. "Ra ec nayto..."(He is ready) The words seeped from his mouth so softly, only Yueh would've been able to hear them...and in the next instant, Kangetsu was gone. Vanished into the earth itself and taking with him the remaining minions, leaving behind nothing but dead bodies and the stench of death...along with the ominous air that this was far from over.
Shirokiba watched in awe at all that happened. His eyes narrowed and he gritted his teeth, amazed at what he saw. He was glad the power went above him, but even so, he was angry. As Kangetsu disappeared, he stood, looking arwith both angry and saddened eyes at the area. Blood splattered everywhere, death rising in the epitomy of ones soul, despair in ones emotions, bodies of loved ones and enemies lying everywhere. A tear dropped down his cheek slowly, plopping upon the ground, and now that the noise of battle was over, one might have heard it drop.
He turned, moving swiftly to Yueh's side, looking down at the Alpha. He sniffed him, wondering if he were just going to die, or if he still would be able to live through this. He gave a sigh, then gengerly nudged his body. "Yueh," he said softly, then more loudly, "Yueh." He looked around. He wondered if anyone around here had a healing ability, incase they would need it. And surely they did. His greatest fear was lingering in his mind, and he pushed it aside, not carring about it at this moment. He knew the Alpha was not yet dead, but yet, somehow it seemed he was. He glanced at the shattered pieces of the great wolf's jewel. How had this happened? How had it come to pass? He looked at the spot where Kangetsu had been only a moment ago, gritting his teeth. But, somehow, he didn't blame Kangetsu. His only anger, was towards Ghost.
All Yueh could do was stand there, his legs giving way as if broken at regular intervals. "GHOST!" he screamed, shaking his great head like an ox pulling a heavy cart. "IF YOU WANT ME, YOU WILL HAVE TO FIGHT ME FIRST!" As he said this, he looked up to find that one wolf who had saved his life from before. "No," he growled, pushing Shirokiba out of the way, "this is a battle between Ghost and me - run... get out of here! Run as far as you all can, or you will all die!" He then turned his muzzle to where Kengetsu had dissapeared, awaiting Ghost's arival.
Yueh became slightly less disoriented - he felt as if he had a little fight left... and I'll be damned that Yueh will fight to the death, even if he was at a losing battle.
He frowned, growling slightly, but began to back away. He didn't feel comfortable with this, but then, no one did. He turned, looking to the others, then giving a sigh and running off. He stopped, only to look back a moment, his eyes gleaming, before he continued on his way.
