She raised a brow, showing her fangs in what could be interpreted as a grin.

The nightmaric monolith began to pad off. He paused but for a moment to see if the femme followed before continueing on his way.

She sighed with an air of indifference as the creature padded off, and returned to staring at her reflection.

The being shrugged as she seemed to not desire to accompany him. It did not matter. After a while of walking upon the soft sands of the shore the creature stretched. That nightmaric being slowly slipped from the leather straps that kept the sword to his back. Following that feat he swung his head so the chain of fangs fell atop it. Now the creature stretched, his tail out behind him stiff then relaxing. Those sharp claws that had killed so many stretch out and dig into the sand before retracting. With a smirk the being looked at the water before diving in. His movements were fluid, majestic.

A lithe, shadowy being slunk through the nearby trees, his dark crimson orbs focused on Ayah. Narrow black raven wings were folded close against his sides, barely visible against his pitch black pelt. A female hellhound followed him closely, though she seemed almost angelic compared to the demonic male. Her pelt was of a pure white, as were her feathered wings. Her grey orbs, however, held a cold, evil gleam.

That nightmaric creature of unknown specie swam around in the liquid blue depths. Siney muscles powered him around as the waters washed off the remnants of previous deeds. A blood red trail followed him, his pelt having been encased in the coppery mix. Soon he was clean and he headed back to shore.

Ayah felt the fur on her back rise, and she turned to face the two hellhounds. Her fangs showed in a snarl. The white hellhoundess stepped forward, walking slowly towards Ayah. Her grey eyes radiated contempt. "Traitor," she spat as she neared Ayah. The black male growled ominously.

Those dark eyes darted over to the small group. His tuned nostrils took in the scent of anger and intent. With a sigh and some skill he slid the faithful sword over his body and then the chain of fangs. With an almost lazy pace he trekked towards them slowly.

Ayah's auds lay flat against her skull, and she seemed almost resigned. "So," she said. "Vrael. Eclipse. You've finally found me."
The white furred female, Vrael, stepped closer, her maw now close enough to Ayah's throat to sever it in one bite should she so choose. "Yesss..." she hissed sibilantly. "We have..."
The ebony male snarled, crouching in preparation to leap, his raven wings half extended. "You sent an assassin to kill us," he said in a harsh, accusing voice.

Suddenly a cold voice rang up from behind that male hellbound. "And it would seem that the assasin failed. Pity. I despise it when any creature desires revenge for meer treachery. Vengeance should be save for more important matters." Slowly that nighmaric thing padded to Ayah. He seemed oblivious to the two other being. Suddenly he turned about and faced them. "I doubt you know who I am. But you see this chain around my neck. Each fang is from one of the every creature I have fought. I do not overestimate myself, but I was born to kill."

Ayah snarled softly. "You don't know the whole story," she said, her vocals barely above a whisper. "You don't know why I betrayed them." It seemed almost as though she were talking to herself. Vrael struck at Ayah with a forepaw, her needle-sharp claws out of their sheaths. "And we thought you were our friend," she hissed. "A hellhound has no need for friends," Eclipse said emotionlessly.

The nightmaric being smirks and cracks his neck audibly. "The hawk does not have need for any reason to fly besides sheer desire." Those scarred ears perk and swivel to the hellhound male. "That is where we have a conflict of ideas my dear pup. I believe every being needs friends and allies to survive."

"The only creature I need to survive is my sister," he said, nodding towards Vrael. He turned to stare angrily at Ayah.
Vrael lowered her forepaw slowly. It was dripping blood. The look in her eyes dared Ayah to retaliate.
Ayah turned away, looking almost ashamed. "I have no desire to harm you," she said to the two. "I'm not a violent creature... I'm not like you."

A low growl rumbled deep within his throat as he took a step closer to the male hellhound. "She may not prefer to fight, but I find the heat of battle to be exilerating."

Dark crimson orbs turned upon the creature. "As do I..." Eclipse said in a low voice. "As do I."
Vrael growled at Ayah disbelievingly. "You sent an assassin to kill us. What do you mean, you have no desire to harm us?"
Ayah arched her back like a frightened cat. "I meant personally. I do not enjoy killing."
