[glow=blue,2,300]Kalasin[/glow] A sky blue dragon sailed out over the mist covered waters, her silver talons skimming over the glassy surface of the lake making ripples, the only disturbance in the dawn light. She was slim, agile, but not without muscle; her appearance was intimidating to anyone not of her species, and even some of them that are. She's a 3000 year old dragon, medium aged, but there's nothing to compare her age to as her kind is immortal. She let out a cry; mournful, but full of feeling and contentment-and flapped her large bat-like blue wings, sending the lake's cool waters flying around her. Her emerald eyes scanned the horizon, looking searching; but what for? The dragon turned in the air, so her wing was skimming through the water's surface, like a knife parting the sea. She flew in a circle, making the waters churn like a hurricane. She slowly picked up speed until a small twister rose from the lake's blue depths, then she flew straight up and the water dropped, becoming calm once more. Kalasin was no ordinary dragon, she had some special abilities, but what were these abilities without friends and creatures to share them and protect with. She had to admit; a sore blow to her pride, she was lonely... 3000 years of talking to animals about their families can do that to anyone. She wanted to settle down now, to use her powers to help others. She swept down to wards the lake's calming surface and closed her eyes for a brief moment, calling for her power of telekinesis. She opened her emerald eyes, they were now glowing silver, a sign she was tapping into her magic. The water rose to meet her, wrapping around her in a funnel, only making an opening for her to pass through. As she passed she would allow the water to drop down again, only to pick it up to make it into a large wave, which she moved across the lake's width. Finally reaching the edge of the lake, she dropped the wave, allowing her eyes to become their normal shade of emerald and turned, making a ninety degree agle to wards the rising sun. She let out another cry, this one calling for those brave enough to try to befriend her. She made another abrupt turn, the sun glinting off her silver tipped, blue scales; making her glow. She shifted her wing's angle ever so slightly and the glow vanished, then she drifted to a graceful halt over the shore, where she set carefully down. She folded her large blue wings and turned to watch the last of the water become glass smooth once more. "Will I ever have friends to give me a purpose in this new, stationary life I've chosen?" She asked herself.

Casus was still searching for any of his kind. preferably not a male. he has had too many fights to have another now. a dark shadow passed along the brilliant tree tops. he was thinking of his past when he felt another's mind touch his. all he knew was it was one of his kind. he replied to the touch he sent a thought of greetings and let out an echoing call that rumbled around the new scenery which had now appeared a massive lake. in the distance he saw blue bulk. there was the dragon. his pupiless eyes shone in the sunlight as he flapped his torn black wings gliding low about a meter above the river. as he sped toward he other dragon he felt it was female, he shot past her and spiraled up back into the sky swooping and diving in an Ariel dance. trying to impress and draw her attention. her reached about 800ft and then shut his wings and fell back down to the earth spinning while breathing his black flame so it swirled around Him beautifully. either this dragon would be hopefully impress or she will take an instant disliking to Casus. he opened his wings at the last minute and landed on the ground silently and bowed before the other dragon.

Kalasin scanned the clearing excitedly, looking for the dragon that had returned her call. Finally she saw him. He was a large dragon, definitely powerful; he'd had his share of fights from the tears on his wings and the scars. She followed him with her emerald eyes, watching his movements. He definitely knew how to draw attention to himself, and she didn't see black fire all that often. She could blow blue fire herself, but she didn't use that skill much. She returned his bow politely, flattered inside that this powerful dragon would even notice her. She was no slouch power wise, but he had the experience her 3000 years couldn't compare to.
She raised her head and decided to try talking mind to mind with him. "Hello, my name is Kalasin, may I ask who you are?" She asked politely. While she waited for his answer, her mind wandered. What if she was intruding on his land? Was he here to chase her out? She could take him magic wise, but physically? She shuddered inwardly at the thought of fighting him. She pushed the thoughts away; she'd deal with that if and when it came. Kalasin shifted her emerald eyes to look at the ever shifting waters she'd grown to love. They were still sloshing about a bit from her games earlier, but they'd mostly recovered their glassy appearance. They were so beautiful, natural...

Casus raised his large head. he was quite a bit taller than this female, well it made a better impact. his silver eyes observes this graceful creature his cold moon eyes met the emerald ones he looked away quickly. he then felt he touch his mind, he heard her question, and responded " Greetings little one, i am the black dragon Casus, one who's name is feared in human lands. you are so quaint, your wings are made for graceful flight rather than mine which are made for turning and avoiding death blows." he stopped himself, he didn't want to scare her away just yet. he watched kalasin's eyes fall to the water. she obviously had alot of compassion for the water near them. " i have not seen many of your kind lately, i used to see quite a few but the seem to have all retreated to the waves and white horses. tell me is there any of your Friends or allies in this area? and dont worry i saw your hesitation there i am not about to attak a dragon so little even if you were intruding. i would give you a head stat first" casus grinned playfully but was soon distracted by the waves rippling slightly to wards him and he edged away more onto the bank.

Currently in the form of a small lithe dragon, She was scanning the lands. She had felt the presence of two dragons nearby, and had assumed the best form for the situation. She was, naturally, black all over, her scales gleaming darkly against the bright day. Her fangs glistened, on the occasion that she showed them. Her eyes showed no whites, only black -- as she was in many of her forms. She circled the area for a while, out of sight of the two dragons, and listened to their conversation, allowing her mind to also link to theirs in a small chuckle, not intimidating or harsh, yet also not completely open. " A bit of a show-off, aren't we?" she circled the small area, and, not needing to go any higher, pressed her own wings to her body. She plummetted towards them, but veered up sharply, her wings suddenly spanning out as she shot forward, then closing again as she allowed her body to twirl straight across the lake, before once more expanding them. This time, though, she trned and dove into the water, submerged for a moment. Suddenly, a plume of swirling black flame shot into the air, the water in the immediate area rushing away to escape the heat. A single twine of flame wound around the main burst, and she soon alighted, allowing the flames to dwindle. She shot into the air before the water came rushing back to consume her, and she landed on the beach, her body glistening brilliantly from the moisture. " But don't think for an instant you're the only one who can." Her thoughts were tinted with amusement, almost playfullness, and her eyes twinkled brightly. She was proud, though, her head curved upwards, and her wings clinging tightly to her sides. The majestic creature looked upon the other two, awaiting their responses.

Kalasin grinned at the large dragon's playful tactics. "I'm not nearly as fragile as I appear old one." She stated playfully, her emerald eyes glinting in amusement. Letting her eyes fall back to the waves, she answered his other comment. "My kind is nearly extinct or in hiding. I haven't seen any others like me in my 3000 years. As for my liking of the water, yes, I love it. That is why they call me Wave Walker. So tell me, why are you afraid of water? Might it be that it's uncontrollable and unpredictable?"
Now she turned her attention to the intruder in their converse. Her emerald eyes glinted dangerously; this creature approaching was of odd origins for sure. She was young, but bold and sure of herself. Half-ling, she scoffed to herself. "Young one, you might as well show your true form, we are not fooled by appearance. I know not what you are, but you must realize it's rude to eavesdrop in on dragon converse." She stated flatly to the new comer. Her eyes glinting mischievously she called upon her magic. She reached out with her mind and called to the rippling waters. They rose like a wave and shot to wards the black creature on the shore. Kalasin didn't normally use her powers openly like this, but the young ones needed to be put in there place every now and then.
Turning back to Casus, she said. "What do you think she is? I've never seen anything with the ability to become a dragon so fully. Have you seen anything like her in your many years?" She asked, being sure to veil her question from the other being.

great, a young fool. casus watched this little creature frolic in the waves. he sighed to himself. it had black scales, pathetic excuse for a black dragon, but still there was something that gave him the feeling that this wasn't its true form. when casus heard the little creatures, well what seemed to him like a taunt, he bulked himself up , head and tail high in the air, tail lashing with irritants. "i just know how to present myself thats all unlike you, your barely fit to be crowned a worm. its insulting to see one such as yourself baring black sales. Casus kept his composure even when the little dragon plummeted to wards them, his bold head held high. he watched the little one with his swaying head, watching the intricate moves that could only be performed by one so agile. as the dragon landed on the beach , casus was slowly losing his patients with this one. defiantly a personality clash. she spat with much venom " i do not think that i am the only one worm. but i do not demonstrate to attempt upstage another. " Casus snapped his teeth and gave a warning growl showing the little dragon that it was pushing it.
hearing kalasin speak casus moved his attention to her calming down. "tis a shame that your kind is hidden for yours is one of the most graceful. as for the water i am not afraid of it, i can just about swim tho i have the grace of a bolder." casus said grinning " but yes it is uncontrollable and unpredictable. casus watched kalasin use her magic, he watched the wave head straight of the other dragon. he chuckled to himself " i bit like you i suppose." casus listened to the further questions and responded being careful to guard his thoughts too. " i have seen many shape shifters in my time, but the precise skill that this one has i think that it has spent a lot of time withe the wurm dragon, but no i have not seen one as skilled at becoming a dragon like this."

Kalasin chuckled darkly at Casus' comments about the other 'dragon'. He was definitely amusing, though he seemed to have a temper. Who was she to talk though, her temper was horrible, much like the lake when an unexpected storm strikes. She knew this very well about herself and had relatively good control of her temper, but sometimes it just flared. To be honest with herself, the new dragon was agile in the air, much like herself, but she believed the agility was from a different form. The shapeshifter didn't move like a dragon, or act like one.
She turned back to Casus as he spoke. "Yes, my kind is known for it's grace, I as well hope it isn't extinct from the world; besides me." She said, her voice filled with sorrow. She was a bit lonely alone without her kind, but it was interesting to talk with other kinds. She didn't know if she wanted the competition for grace or the water from her kind. She grinned at him. "I am indeed unpredictable, and cannot be tamed or controlled by anyone. It's one of my charms." She laughed, her eyes amused. Her mood suddenly darkened at his mention of how powerful this creature could be. She turned her emerald gaze back to it and hoped her wave hit it and taught it she could be powerful too. "Maybe my wave will put it in it's place." She stated wickedly.

[Hey, could we use a posting order?]
Her eyes flicked to the oncoming wave, and, in an instant, she was gone, reappearing on the other side of the two. The wave crashed harmlessly against the soft ground, sliding calmly back into the depression to join the other water. The calm was the exact opposite of Her, her eyes flaring with fury.
How could you even dare to guess who I am? I am no ordinary shapshifter, and not only restricted to that. I do not have a "true form" and I am not by any means young! I am a half-spirit guardian of my homelands, born long. long ago! her eyes reduced to slits.
Had I really intended on eavesdropping, I would have listened to the whole conversation. I was just making sure you weren't mindless brutes that attack on sight! Perhaps I was wrong, though. She snarled at the brute's insult. Worm? If anyone here be a worm, it is you! Her lips lifted to show a snarl, and a deep, menacing growl rumbled from the back of her throat. Shall we continue in peace, or will we have to have a battle of both agility and magic? Her gaze flickered to the other female upon her mention of magic, and her eyes slitted even more.

((That'd be good. How about Destiny, Me, then Bjorn. Since it'd be easier to continue with Bjorn next since he two of us just posted. ^^))
Kalasin chuckled. "Very nice magic trick. I do believe I'd like to make friends though, I've spent to many years alone. I am the Wave walker, or Kalasin. It's not in my nature to relent like this so don't take this offer of friendship lightly. My race is faultingly proud." She grimaced at some memory. She thought about how the other female mentioned a battle of agility and magic. She smiled on the inside at the thought; her race was best in agility and magic above all other traits. They were not known for fighting though and Kalasin didn't plan to start that now. She didn't know how powerful this creature was, she seemed to have some sort of power, whether it be just shape shifting or other magical abilities she couldn't tell.
"So tell me, what exactly are you then? Not a shape shifter or dragon. You mentioned something about a guardian. Mind enlightening me on that species?" She asked in a polite effort to start conversation. While she she waited she looked out at the water, letting it's slow rippling motion calm her. She watched the sunlight play on the water, reflecting light onto the rocks of the cliff she now perched on. It was a beautiful day, light cirrus clouds played across the sky, gulls called in the distance. it was perfect she realized; exactly where she wanted to settle down and live the rest of her immortal life.

"i dare because there are no consequences." Casus spoke seriously but then lightened himself to a joking mood. " you can narrow your eyes all you want madam, i can withstand "evils" to the end of time. and I'm sorry if i insulted you i meant it as a complement , you don't look a day older that 1500. " Casus continued to listen " I'm surprised that you still haven't attacked me, because i didn't quite psychically attack you but verbally is a different matter... but i could get used to being called brute" Casus tilted his head to one side and let out a laugh that was nearly the same as a bolder rolling down hill but not quite. " me a worm? a bit big at 80 ft tall dint you think madam. humm a trick indeed, I've seen better" said Casus shrugging. as kalasin spoke Casus sharply turned to face her " there is no fault in being proud. only if you have done nothing to be proud of." Casus shifted his weight as Kalasin continued, his moon like eyes drifted to the sky where the gulls were. he had that low stomach ache type feeling, down in his gut, he started shuffling about on his feel showing that he was in some slight discomfort. he really didn't like the sun at all, and longed for the night to fall. " I'm sorry but is there anywhere darker we can continue this conversation?" Casus inquired.

((I'm tired of waiting for Death/Destiny. xD))
Kalasin looked at Casus. "I know, but pride is what got many of my species killed. It's one of out fatal flaws. Beauty and grace must come with something bad." She said, managing a grin. She followed Casus' gaze to the gulls and watched them glide over the lake. She knew their minds well, always talking to her about food. The humans spoiled them with their bread crumbs. She turned back to see the large dragon shifting uneasily in the light. She liked the sun, it made the water all the more beautiful, and brought out the silver tints in her scales. She sighed inwardly.
"Yes, I know a place." She said pointing with her nose to the top of a cliff where a black cave entrance could just barely be seen. "I spend the night there sometimes." Then with a wicked grin she continued, "What, the big black bully scared of a wittle sunlight?" She asked sarcastically, her emerald eyes alight with humor. She laughed and jumped into the air, wheeling over the water. The sun lit up her sky blue scales, making them glisten like the lake itself. She let out a happy roar then did a graceful and agile flip in the air, only to end up facing down to wards the water in a dive. She disappeared under it's surface with a small splash, lessened by her agile figure and the smoothness of her scales. She resurfaced right in front of the two black creatures and shook her scales, sending water droplets into the air. She then caught them with her telekinesis and suspended them in the air, watching them refract the sunlight into tiny rainbows.

[Sorry, I have end-of-the-year tests. >.< Really sorry, this was my first chance to post! I posted once, or tried to, but it must not have worked.]
I am a half-spirit, the once-guardian of my lands. Her head snaked to the ground, her shining black eyes glittering in the light. It is a pleasure to meet you, and do not worry, I won't take advantage of your friendship, though I have to admit, I have no official name with which to introduce myself. I generally travel in the form of a wolf, and I guess I will give you a- she paused, searching for the correct word. Nickname: she decided after a few short moments. Her head snaked its way back up into it's proud position. An almost sinister smile curved its way onto her armored face, although it wasn't meant in a harmful way.
...Death. She stated it, simply, as if it didn't mean anything. It didn't really. Please do not be put off by my name, she said. It was given to me by my father, because when I was young, and the creatures around me were more... Soft, I drove some to madness and, eventually, death from my eyes. She almost looked away in shame, but soon jerked up at the male's words.
No consequences... A low, soft growl rumbled from deep within her throat. There are many consequences, though I do not wish to demonstrate them. Please forgive me for my... insulting words. She was not acustomed to apologizing, and found that she had a little difficulty doing so. Also, thank you for the compliment. Apologizing was also obviously out of her range of comfort. And as for the tricks, I've got better. She did not elaborate.
Yes, could the conversation continue elsewhere? I'm afraid I have also grown accustomed to the dark. She turned to where Kalasin indicated, and nodded her head. She watched with interest as Kalasin launched herself into the air and below the water, and held the drops in place. What... Interesting abilities. she thought this to herself as she watched the reflected rainbows with curious eyes.
May I? She moved forward slightly, and attempted something for the first time. She tried to grab one of the drops with her mind, concentrating on it with all her might. She gently pulled it from Kalasin's telekenetic grasp, and suspended it herself, forming it into a different shape, until she got the hang of it. She formed it into a miniature form of Kalasin, the scales the same color, and had it "fly" around Kalasin's head, before allowing it to dive away and hurtle past the male's head. It hit a nearby tree and left behind sparkling drolets that rand down the tree before disappearing. Death's eyes sparkled with the successful experiment, and she settled down closer to the ground, content with herself.

Kalasin nodded at the title of half-guardian. "That makes sense.." She murmured quietly, watching Death. "Well Death, it's nice to me you. And don't worry about the name, dragons are mostly associated with death, so we get used to the names humans give us. I for one have been given the human name of Sky Terror." She said with a grin.
She watched the display of abilities with approval glinting in her piercing emerald gaze. "Very nice for a first try." She said with a grin. As soon as she finished speaking the water drops formed into a large creature exactly like death, pulling water from the lake to make it life size. The water-Death walked over to face Death herself and lowered it's head imitating what Death had just done. It then copied the 'sinister' smiled and even gained a glint in it's watery eyes. Kalasin allowed the water-Death to walk back into the water, until it was totally submerged and back to it's natural form in the lake.
She turned back Death and winked. "Well, since you both have made a show of complaining about the sun, we should get moving." She said with a mocking look at the two black creatures. She then took off smoothly and glided to the cave, using her magic to propel her up.

((ooc: i was slightly confused as who to respond too first so i just responded from the way it was ordered. )) Casus listened as kalasin spoke he shook his head as she spoke of pride being bad. what was the world coming to? how the young spoke of matters of Honor that his kind has always stood for, and now the speak ill of it. what he thought could easily be picked up by the others through his eyes. his mood soon lightened as kalasin continued calling him a bully. he chuckled and said " i only bully those who let me. so none here. but i can bully you if you want." he watched kalasins scales as the sun rays hit them, she was truly made for water. no not for water, with water for the two seemed to fit together perfectly. he watched her frolic in the waves. Casus turned his great head as he listened to the black one speak. what it said raised many more questions. he heard her out and said " what do you mean once-guardian? what happened? as regards to your name i think every dragon has been called death at one point." he laughed when she spoke about when she was young "soft..." he chuckled. as she spoke of many consequences casus curved his head a little and returned the growl. but as she continued he completely relaxed he could see that she wasn't fully accustom to apologizing, he had been like that when he was young but had grown out of it. as his thoughts drifted which was often these days, he was shortly borough back to reality as something tiny zipped past his head he blinked and looked for the little thing but all he saw was water on the side of a tree trunk. then he realized, the puzzle look left his face, he gave a small laugh, and lowered himself to the ground and launched himself into the air, beating his powerful wings and circled the pair demonstrating the ability's. he was impressed by kalasins copy of death he cocked his head and watch, this could turn nasty if one felt uncomfortable. casus again laughed " you make us sound like youngsters" he called after her. he glided smoothly into the cave and shut his wings. "i can stand the sun if needed but i prefer to stay out of it because it makes me feel un easy also i can use my strengths if needed you have both presented your true title and now i shall present mine. i am the king of shadows, i can manipulate them to do my bidding but they are destroyed in the midday sun. i am still growing and learning how to control my powers fully, i can also use the shadows for advanced necromancy. so in a was i am learning to control death." he gave a quick glance at death herself, his eyes glowed eerily.
