At ease with nature

"I have never known of a wolf that had powers. I thought I was a freak until I met you." Cavain has some compassion for the female knowing this is the only female he has approached in his life. All the other wolves he has met in his past life were mean and wretched.

[amanda]

Aponi nodded, she had never thought of herself and her powers a 'freak'. "My element showed up when i was a pup. I was knocked out by it" she said with a slight chuckle, reliving the memory. It was funny now, but her parents had been worried. She'd even heard her brothers and sisters whispering behind her back about her powers.

[cavain]

"Your lucky that you knew your parents, I was abanonded in an open field when I was young." "He looked at Aponi wondering why she was here and not with her pack. Was it because she had powers and the rest didn't? He thought carefully. "How come your not with your family?"

[amanda]

"i don't run with a pack" Aponi said. She had tried to join a pack, but once they found out her element, she had been shunned. since then she'd been a loner. "I run by myself, and make my own decsiions" she said

[cavain]

"Oh I run on my own because I can never remember where I was born but it has to be from something unusual, Because of this orange star on my head." He was getting tired of standing and layed down some what knowing that this female wouldn't or shouldn't attack him.

[amanda]

"really" Aponi said, sitting down. She noticed that, but never questioned it. After all, odd things sometimes did happen at birth. "I was always sheltered as a pup" she said, now thinking that maybe her parents had been protecting her from hearing the real world call her a freak

[cavain]

"That must have been hard to handle I see why you are alone." His eyes started to get droopy. He howled, "I think I'm gonna find some shelter to go sleep." He thought would she want to join him or not. Should I ask her? He kept pondering. "Would you like to come with me? It would be nice to have some company once in awhile." Cavain finally said it, very relived he got up and looked back toward the female waiting on her answer.

[amanda]

Aponi got up, thinking. She trusted him enough now, but sometimes male wolves turn. "okay" she said, following him. She decided he was okay, and he was good company. She started walking towards the nearest shelter, which happened to be a cave.

[cavain]

Cavain walked into the cave sniffed around and layed down. "Thanks for coming with me...you the first wolf that has actually been nice to me." He thought with his eyes getting more and more sleepy. "In the morning you wanna go hunting for some deer?

[amanda]

Aponi smiled and layed at the entrance of the cave. "okay" she said. He wasn't so bad, she had actually found a friend now. She watched him get sleepy, suprised that she really wasn't all that sleepy yet.

[cavain]

Cavain fluttered his eyes one more time "okay see you in the morning." Then he fell fast asleep.

[amanda]

Aponi watched him a second more then ran out of the cave, deciding to hunt early. She followed her prey, killing the deer and bringing it back to the cave. She set it at the entrance and layed down to take a quick nap.

When Aponi woke up, she noticed Cavain had not woken up. She looked at the deer and dragged it in more and started eating, making sure to save some deer for Cavain.

Cavain woke up the next morning to the scent of fresh deer. "I guess Aponi went out early to go hunting." Cavain ate some of the deer and then went out to go look for Aponi.

[amanda]

Aponi had gone back into the forest after getting her energy back. She was making the grass grow and the trees shake and she was trying to get stronger. She then went back to the edge of the forest to wait and see if Cavain would bother trying to find her.

[cavain]

Cavain walked out of the cave to find Aponi. He saw a patch of grass that was abnormally long and instantly thought of Aponi. He kept following these long patches of grass until he finally found her. "Good morning Aponi."
