At ease with nature

[amanda]

"good morning" Aponi said, distracted. She quickly jumped away though, feeling dizzy. SHe had shaken the trees so much she had accidentally snapped off a tree branch and it had almost hit her. She turned to look at Cavain. "so how was your sleep?" she asked.

[cavain]

Cavain laughed when he seen her jump up. "I see that you have been practicing your powers." Cavain sat in one of the long patches of grass."My sleep was okay, I guess. I saw that you went hunter early without me."

[amanda]

"I couldn't sleep" Aponi said, laying down. She would rest a bit, then practice again later. "so I figured i should go hunting, and catch something early" she said with a smile. She made the grass rustle peacefully.

[cavain]

"Oh," Said cavain with a little laugh in his voice. "Once you rest shall we go explore around the forest?" Cavain shuffled his paws slightly.

[amanda]

"I'm rested enough now" Aponi said. She stood up and smiled at him. This wolf seemed like a terribly shy creature sometimes. "after you" she said, absorbing a bit of energy from the earth.

[cavain]

Cavain walked past the female with a sense of nervousness in the air. He looked back at Aponi. "Are you coming?"

[amanda]

"yea, i'm coming" Aponi said, following him. She could tell he was a bit nervous. She really wasn't, she never got nervous when she was in forests. After all, forests calmed her down more and didn't make her as jumpy.

[cavain]

"okay." Cavain walked slightly slow today. He didn't have anthing to worry about......at least not right now. He some what trusted Aponi, but he still didnt knw what to think of her. If she was a good wolf or a bad one who hasn't leashed out her anger yet. If that were to happen cavain would get mad at himself to trust another wolf, he really never did trust anyone until he stumbled upon Aponi.

[amanda]

Aponi watched the wolf carefully. She trusted him, but she might be wrong. She wondered where he was taking her, but didn't question him.

[cavain]

Cavain walked faster, bringing Aponi to a clear blue lake. "Look into the lake and tell me what you see." He looked at the female with the intent of her looking into the lake. "Go ahead it won't hurt you."

[amanda]

Aponi looked at him, then at the water. She walked to the waters edge and looked in, unsure of what she was supposed to see. All she saw was herself. "all i see is myself" she told him, confused. He was one odd wolf.

[cavain]

Cavain sat down. "look closer Aponi you will see something not just your own reflection." Cavain touched the water. "Look now."

[amanda]

Aponi looked again, seeing something more when he touched the water but it disapeared as quickly as it came. "what am i supposed to be seeing?" she asked him.

[cavain]

"When I look at the water I see something dark from my past. You should have something from your past or if your lucky your future." Cavain poked at the water with his claw and looked into the water. "What I see right now is me being abandoned in the opening of this forest, and I see 2 other wolves leaving me behind. I call out to them but they turn their head's away and run." Cavain looked at Aponi to see her expression on her face.

[amanda]

"i see nothing except me and darkness. I told you, i've had a sheltered life" Aponi said, looking at him. She couldn't see anything from her past, because it had all been good, and most of her puppy hood had been spent in a cave.
