Unforgiving winds whipped through the wastelands, whispering of oncoming death and chaos. The lands itself seemed to cry out in agony as unholy intrusions of tainted paws marred a path of destruction and pain. The moon itself shone with a reddish hue, the demon's moon glowing like a ball of fire in the night. The blowing winds themselves, seemed to be full of malice and hate.
Black paws treaded on barren lands, effortlessly ghosting through the stretch of death and dangers that was Hiagaru Wastelands. The black figure blended into the night, not even its eyes could be seen. If it was alive or the undead was questionable, but the fact that it moved portrayed that it seemed to have a purpose. A dark, furry head rose as the rest of its body halted, its nose taking in the scents of the lifeless lands. Its ears perked, weary of its surroundings, and wanting to make sure it was alone. It ducked its head low and sniffed the ground, its leathery nose quivering rapidly, hungrily. The figure followed its nose until it led up to the carcass of a dead wolf. The beast sniffed it questionably, absorbed in the corpse at the moment, looking as if it were feeding on it.

A lone wolf lost in the dusty land lowers its head to cover. His eyes halfway closed protecting them. His head shot up as it smelled dead meat. Walking cautiously then turned to a steady trod then to a brisk run. As he approached the site a figure begins to appear. He stopped suddenly about 20 feet away. He looked to the figure towering over the meat. The hunger for food was close to unbearable, but it soon retreated and was replaced with fearful ambiguity. He stared at the figure...

The Dark figures head rose, its ears perked forward, and seemed to appear like horns almost. The whole body was shrouded in darkness, not even the eyes could be seen. The beast stood as still as petrified wood, and an eerie air cloaked the area. Below its figure lay the body of a dead wolf, partially eaten. The figures body seemed wolf-like, and this picture seemed a blood chilling act of cannibalism. The figure took a step backwards and began to move away quietly, not wanting to stir trouble.

He looked in disgust as he realized the dead animal was another wolf. He stood there moving his head up and down to try and get a better view of the figure then back to the carcass. Sniffing the air trying to distinguish the figure but the scent of the thing he could not pick up. As if his senses were being blocked as he tried to sniff the air. He shook his head blowing air through his nose.

As the male wolf tried to scent the figure, it became nervous and moved back slightly, its ears going back. It turned sideways, and a glint of its eyes flashed momentarily, revealing a demonic yellow. It then vanished, like its eyes were never there. A small sigh was issued as it turned its head away and began to walk away slowly, its tail hanging loosely. A gentle breeze blew towards the males direction, carrying a slight scent of female.

The wondering wolf waited for the figure to move a way a little further so he can invistigate the dead animal. Slowly as the figure walked away did he begin to walk slowly towards the dead animal. Slowly and cautiosly he walked with his head low to the ground. His eyes never left the figure. He stopped for a moment as a slight scent of a female crept up. He looked around to see if there were other wolves but only saw the one figure.

The figure stirred as the male looked at it, and It quickened its pace. It looked back momentarily before continuing its path down a slope, its pawprints fresh with the scent of female.

As he headed closer to the figure and the dead animal he now clearly senses tat the figure was a female. Knowing this made him slightly more relaxed and more curious of the enigmatic figure. As he stood over the animal it did not seem to be bitten or touched by a wolf or anything related. The animal seemed to have died most likely from exhaustion.

The figure stopped again to look back, obviously trying to figure if he was going to follow it. Its eyes flashed again, and it then turned and walked away, quickening its pace to a slow trot.

"Hey...wai...." his voice fainted as he try to call out to her. Curiosity filled his mind. Something about the wolf-like thing intrigued him. He walked towards it from a afar.

The figure stopped momentarily as the male called to her, her ears folded back halfway. She seemed nervous and shy, her low tail signaling her uneasiness. She turned and began to move further away again.

He walked a little faster trying to get closer to her. His slow walk turned into a brisk walk then into a trod.

The female broke into a run, dashing into nearby boulders. She skidded to a halt, finding herself cornered in a dead end. She went to turn around, only to find her only escape route was being cut off by the trailing male. Instinctively, the hairs on her back began to stand and her muzzle crinkled slightly.

He trodded towards her in a lightly matter. A sort of happy trod but curious at the same time. He got closer to her, but the closer he got the figure did not seem to be clearer. Only an outline of her is recognizable. He stopped 5 yards from her narrowaing his eyes to get a better look.

She snarled and falsely lunged at him, trying to warn him off. Her form was still dark, her body, lost in seemingly nonexistent shadows. Her voice was harsh and cruel.
"Duonu fu odago zadx!"
Her accent was heavy as she spoke in her ancient tongue.
