The Legend Of The Demon Wolf

His head tilted.
He could not understand the alien language coming from her.
Shin(nickame) walked closer to her.
His head bobbing left, rigt, up, down still trying to uncover her form.

[Eternal-Moon]

She snarled and tried to find a way of escape, but there was none. Her tail began to frizz in her nervousness.

"Va Ozoi! Cuuh rosc!"

She turned her body sideways defensively, her eyes gleamed again, this time, feral red.

Shin noticed the defensive stance of the figure.
The reflection of the red outline shone in his eyes as he observed her.
He retreated a couple steps back not wanting to scare her.
"What are you?" he asked calmly.

[Eternal-Moon]

Her ears went back nervously, obviously a creature tormented by other wolves, since she no longer trusted them. She did not want to risk shifting in front of this wolf, but her options were running out. Perhaps she could speak her way out.

"Tufag zadx... "

Suddenly, she realized he could not understand her.

"Demon...Wolf..."

Her ancient tongue marred even her English speech.

"Demon?!"
He exclaimed in a high pitch.
Feeling offended by her remarks he lunged under her unknowingly.
"Who you calling demo..."
Before he could finish his sentence he noticed the mysterious aura surrounding her.
Like feeling engulfed in her presense, almost sufficating because he was too close to her.
He lunged back into his original position.
Breathing a little hard trying to catch his breath.
"Whoa! What was that?"

She pulled back as he got closer, afraid he would feel the aura that surrounded her. To her horror, he did. She shied away, her ears falling back.

".....Nothing... Please... Excuse me...I-"

Suddenly a pack of wolves appeared, their eyes on the young wolfess. They all snarled at her.

"Hey, she's over here!!! GET HER!!! Get the Demon!!!"

They all hollered and howled as they began running down the slope towards them.

The young demoness jumped in fear as then approached, trying to scamper up the side of a boulder. Her claws were as red as freshly spilled blood, yet they were of natural color. Even the pads under her paws were red. She wanted to shift, but didn't want to reveal her powers.

Shin heard the commotion of the pack of wolves.
For whatever reason he felt the need to help her.

He turned quickly to them and ran towards them.
He run in front of the pack stopping them in their approach.

"Leave her alone!" he yelled at them.
"She is mine!...she killed my friend over there." Pointing to the dead carcass not far away.

He looked back to her hoping that she would do something, like run, while the other wolves were diverted.

He turned back to he pack.
"Now leave her to me!" he growled.

[Eternal-Moon]

The wolves stared at him as if he were mad.

"Have ye lost yer wits wolfy? That demon will turn you if you get next to 'er. She has poison air!!! she will make ya mad if ya get too near 'er. Ye can't even touch 'er! Ye need stakes and rocks to squish her from afar!"

They all were absorbed in the male, not noticing the female trying to escape.

The demoness noted their absorption in the male and seized her chance to flee. Concentrating momentarily, her body contorted, her forelegs turning into wings, her body growing feathers, and her hinds into bird feet. She then took flight and soared over the rocks.

One of the wolves looked and noticed her fleeing.

"There she be! She using her demon powers to flee by flight! Get 'er!!!"

They ran past the male and began scrambling up the boulders.

Upon reaching the top, she shifted back into her wolf form and fled with all her might, oblivious to where she was headed.

His head shot back to the cornered figure but did notsee her.
His eyes shot to the sky as a birdlike thing flew over the rocks.
Shin stumbled in front of some of the wolves to try and slow them down and tripping one of them.
"Whoa excuse me'" he shouted.
He turned to the horizon, watching in awe, the direction of the bird and watching carefully the direction to where she was headed.

The female fled blindly, suddenly finding herself in another corner. The moment she turned to flee, she was already cornered by three males.

"Whoa there demon, yer time has come... Be banished to the hells from whenst you came!!!"

They began throwing rocks, one wolf, preparing a large, joust-like steak.

The demoness was so overcome by fear, that the demonic instincts inside overrode her. Her eyes gleamed a feral red, and her body began to grow, her hair lengthening, her front paws turning into hands with beastly claws. Her ears lengthened into high, horned like ears, her mouth, growing blood red fangs and foaming blood. The beast stood at least nine feet, black as midnight. The very incarnation of the devil himself.

Meanwhile, the other wolves were clumsily trying to get past the male.

"Watch it you fool! Move aside! Be gone before I-"

A blood chilling scream was issued ahead, followed by another, and another. Finally, a loud, beast like bellow filled the night sky, making the ground itself shake. There was silence for a while, the remaining males huddled together in horror. Suddenly, a dead wolf body fell from the sky a few ways from them. It was missing its head, and was savagely gouged in the torso. Blood seeped from the body onto the floor, and stained the ground with blood. The body of the innocent, slain by the claws of a murderer.

Shin turned to the cry.
Silence shortly followed.
Then followed by an object being launched their way.
His eyes darted to the ground of the bleeding decapitated wolf.
"Not a good way to lose one's head in battle," he said humerously turning to the other wolves.

The remaining males scampered away like frightened puppies, tails between their legs.

The young demoness fell to the ground as her normal conscience returned. She looked at her hands, soaked in blood, and the two remaining males bodies lifeless on the floor. The feral glow in her eyes faded, replaced by glowing yellow eyes. She slumped onto the floor, her body shifting back to her natural form. Her eyes filled with tears, and she wept silently on the ground, drenched in blood.

Shin moved aside from the scampering wolves, seeing them flee in terror.

He moved his attention towards the crying figure.
He was confused by the aftermath of the squabble.

He stood in silence trapped by decisions.
Leave her be or tend to her?

The young demoness wept still, curling up into a fetal position. She tucked her tail to the side and laid there on the floor silently.

Shin walked over slowly to her, eyeing the dead body as he passed it.
He stopped in front of the weeping figure and sat down watching.
