It was an informant, the people who gathered information for the resistance. He handed Toji a piece of paper and ran off. It read: The secret leaders are moving. One of them is in town today. The carnival is actually a troop guarded inspection convoy lead by the supervisor of secret military affairs. Stop them from recruitment. Toji stood up. There was a theory that this was true but he never expected them to use civilian transport to inspect their operations.

He smiled sheepishly and got up, brushing the dirt off him. He looked up when she spoke, and felt a bit more embarassed. He really shouldn't have turned around while he was running. He stuck out his hand, and offered it to her, "I'm really sorry, about that. I wasn't paying any attention...are you alright?" His mask that usually covered the bottom half of his face had fallen off, and now rested around his neck, but instead he just let it hang there. Thankfully in their collision, his heaband, which covered one of his eyes, had not fallen off or been shaken loose from its position. If it had, that would have been very bad, for him and her both.
There was a breeze blowing about them steadily, and it ruffled his silver hair. He stood there, waiting to see if she would take his hand. He felt really bad about running into her, and it seemed that her clothes were now torn and her hand had gotten scraped up pretty badly too.

She didnt take his hand, knowing that pain would come shooting up her arm if she did. Instead she shifted her body around, and with her finger tips only touching the ground, she was able to get her knees and feet underneath her and push her body up to a standing position. 'You should really watch where you are going.' She stated, rubbing her hands together slightly to get off some of the dirt that stuck to blood. It stung a little, but she has had worse.
'Why were you running anyways?' she asked glancing around. He seemed to appear out of no where. What was it with her and strangers today? She glanced to the hotel, wanting to just be alone right now after having a disappointing dinner.

He watched as she got to her feet, and smiled at her comment. "Yeah I know. I really do need to be more careful." He paused a moment, looking around for the men who were chasing him. But it looked as if they had gone in another direction, which was good for him. It looked as if things were in his favor for once.
Hearing her voice again he stopped looking around, and turned to look at her again. "Oh..um." He stopped, but then simple shrugged his shoulders, he wasn't really doing anything wrong. Okay, yeah he was. But when it comes to starving to death, you need to steal to survive. "I spent all my money and half of it got stolen, so in order to make sure I didn't starve, I decided to steal from some of the merchants down in the village. Well they got a little angry and came after me." He thought he heard a shout coming from the village, but it was just his mind playing tricks on him. He sighed and relaxed a bit. Realizing then how tense he was.
He decided to introduce himself to the girl, maybe she'd chat with him for awhile. But then again maybe she wouldn't. "I'm Kakashi by the way."

A brow rose as he told his small story. Her mouth dropped open slightly at how brutely honesty, and then he just went on and introduced himself. So she was stolen from then meets another theif. 'Are you dense?' She asked suddenly after he had introduced himself. Was this yet another trick? Some one was surely out to get her, three wierdos in one day, she was on a roll. 'You just told me you were a theif. I should turn you in. Poor or not you shouldnt steal.' Oh goodness she was sounding like her mother. She shook her head, blond tresses wavering slightly from both the shake and the small breeze.
She looked at him again and rolled her eyes. Oh she couldnt believe it! Turning she began to walk away, moving quickly to get to her room and lock the door tightly. This village really was going to pieces, and quickly.

As soon as he finsished saying what he had been running from, he knew he'd regret it. 'Dammit, do I have to be that stupid?' He asked himself. "Are you dense?" She asked him. He shrugged, "I dunno, maybe I am." He sighed, and listened as she went on, saying that she should turn him in. But then again, she wasn't yelling for someone to come take him away or anything. So maybe, just maybe she was bluffing him. But what were the odds of that?
As she turned and began to walk away, he followed her. A few paces behind her, "What? You're just going to leave now, since you ind out I'm a theif? You must be one of those goody-goody girls aren't you?"

Sybil stopped, one fist balled and she spun on her heel. 'How dare you!' She was outraged. How dare this..this low life call her a goody-goody. 'I'll give you to the count of three and if you arent out of here by then...I'll make sure you wish you had.' Something flashed behind her green eyes, what it was, it'd be hard to tell. The reason why she had been gone for so long, wasnt because she was sick of this town, but was because she was going for training with a woman miles a way. You see, Sybil had a skill that many lacked and only a few could train to work for them. All she had to do was mutter a few words and the theifs legs would be encased in ice or he'd find his little eye patch their on fire.

A small sneer appeared on his face, "And if I don't leave? Then what?" He let out a small laugh. There was not much she could hide from him, underneath that headband his eye hid. It was unlike his other, which was black and endless, this one was blood-red. And it had not one, but three tiny black pupils. It allowed him to gaze into his opponents' mind and see what their next move would be, if that is, they were going to attack him. And he had detected that she was going to do something to him if he didn't leave her be.
But beings he was naturally curious, he wanted to see what she could do. He had some surprises himself he could show her, if she chose to try and attack him.

'1..'
There was one thing that all the locals knew about Sybil.
She was completely harmless.
Never before did she intentionally harm anything, unless it was for food of course. Even between her siblings the worse she would do to them when angry was push them. But even then they only swayed and remained standing practically unharmed, that is until their sides started hurting from laughing so much. Yet, this man didnt have to know that did he?
'2..'
Her counting was slow, no rush was needed. If he wanted to get away now would be the time to do it, but it appeared as if he wasnt going to move? Maybe she had oversteped her boundries? Oh well, she couldnt turn back. She smiled a wide cocky smile. 'Any last words?' She asked just before saying the word three.

Kakashi laughed, "As a matter of fact, I do." He made a bit of a dramtic pause, gathering the thoughts inside his head. "Well..it's not really any words." He took a few steps back, and completely relaxed his body. Allowing is other 'self' to come out and be seen.
Where the man had once stood, was now replaced with a rather large, golden-brown wolf. Muscles rippled under his coat. His ears stood tall and proud atop his head, listening for anything and everything. His left eye was completely shut, and a long scar covered it from the tip of his ear down to his muzzle, beings even in his wolf form his red eye was still present. So he had to get rid of it some way, and so, in the end he inflicted the scar upon himself. And then the right eye was a golden color with a cat-like pupil. He watched the young girl for a moment, he had no intention to hurt her. But she might cry fowl and send the whole town after him. Which had happened to him twice before in other places. Making him constantly on the move...he hoped with all his heart that it wouldn't happen again.

Toji thought hard about why the secret leaders were there. 'It may be The Orchestrator,' he thought, 'or The Enforcer. They're the only ones who go out on house-calls to check operations.' The thought crossed his mind that if Sybil could come with him to infiltrate the prison barracks she would join and fight. Maybe...

Little by little she watched as bare skin grew a shocking gold color fur, all four limbs turn to paws and land gently on the ground. Where man once stood now stood a wolf. And for a brief moment, she could only stare, completely forgetting her counting and her plan to run. A shifter. Only before had she only heard of them and considered them nothing more then a grandmothers fable. Yet her surprised was short lived and she held up her hand, a pentagon shape tattoo becoming exposed on the cut palm. She took a small step backwards, as if to steady herself.
'Dont come any closer.' She warned her tone serious. Now she wanted to get out of here. But she knew that turning her back on a wild creature, an untrust worthy one at that, would more then likely mean her death. Sybil was frightened, though in some ways she had been in much worse situations but being alone in a situation like this was odd, scary even. Where was a knight in shining armor when she needed one? Toji ran to the Inn. He looked down the road and saw her standing in front of a golden-brown wolf with her palm raised. He thought that he recognized the wolf. He called out past Sybil to the wolf, "Kakashi!"

The wolf watched as the girl exposed a pentagram cut into her palm. His eye widened and his ears stood upright. A surprised growl emmiting from his throat. He hadn't expected that. Taking a step back, he left the girl alot of space. Not wanting to get any closer to the tattoo.
A cry got his attention. His name..well his human name. He turned and saw a figure, a person. Who were they? And how did they know him??
