Feral raised a brow quizzically. "Why'd you let that bird go?" he asked.

She looked at him for a moment. "Well, because, I wasn't hungry since we just stuffed ourselves on a fat doe, and it wasn't hurt. And besides, I was just playing. I play with birds and other flying things all the time." she said with a grin. "Why?" she asked.

Feral shrugged. "I dunno, it just seems cruel to catch something if you're not going to eat it. I expect that the birds don't realise you're playing."

"Well, I never hurt them or anything, so it's not like I am being cruel, except for this one bird that thought I was going to eat him. He was begging to be set free and I told him I was just playing and that I never eat unless I am hungry. He kind of got embarrassed but he flew away and ever since I haven't gotten asked to be set free." She shrugged, "I dunno," she said and began rolling around. "Well, you still haven't tried this cloud stuff," she said with a smile.

"Uhh..." Feral looked slightly skeptical. "I'm not sure I want to."

Katarina looked at him and shrugged, licking a piece of cloud she had eaten earlier off her lip. "Suit yourself," she said. "Well, I want to go back to the ground," she said with a smile, trotting to the edge and pearing below. "Do you?" she asked, looking at him.

"Of course," he said. "You're not leaving me up here."

Katarina smiled and motioned for him to again take a ride. "I will tell you that the way down might be a little more scarry." she said, warningly but with a comforting smile that followed. "Though, you shouldn't worry," she added. She stretched out her wings in full, preparing herself for the descent she was about to take.

Again, he hopped onto her back, smirking slightly. "Scary?" he said derisively.

"Well, if you descent to quickly it can make your stomach drop, if you know what I mean," she said with a smile. With a jump, she lept off the clouds edge, launching herself onto the air. She steadied herself easily, and again began gliding on the constant wind currents that filled the air around them. This time though, she skipped from current to current, downwards instead of going up. She played around while in the air, not going upside down, so as not to make Feral fall off, but she did dip and rise and glide about freely. She descended easily, going hinds first. When they felt the soft dirt against them, she smiled and lowered, flapping her wings, and then folding them over her back. She looked around excitedly.

He slid off her back, landing somewhat unsteadily on his small paws. "I don't suppose that was too bad..." he said.

She grinned at him, "Nah, it wasn't," she agreed, wagging her cat-like tail. She looked about, and then looked down. She yawned, "I'm tired, are you?" she asked, feeling more than tired from all they had just done, not to mention she wasn't used to carrying others. She looked around, wondering where a good place to sleep was.

He nodded in agreement. "Yeah," he said. "Dunno if I'll be able to sleep, though."

She looked at him, slightly confused, but more questioning. "Okay, but why won't you be able to sleep. I noticed you didn't last time either. Is something wrong?" she asked. She sat down, and looked at him.

He glanced over his shoulder. "No, it's probably nothing. It's just..." he paused for a moment. "I keep getting the feeling that I'm being watched." This bothered him. Normally, he was not a paranoid creature at all.
