She looked at him for a moment and then gave him a playful nudge. "Well, maybe so, but I am sure that if you really are being watched that it isn't that bad to worry about." she said with a comforting smile.
"Now, please do me a favor. Relaxe, and uh, do you have a cave or den anywhere? Because, if you do, we could sleep there, and I am sure you will feel safer there anyways." she said, wagging her tail and beginning to walk away, looking back to see if he were to come along.

"No, I don't," he said. "I sleep out in the open most of the time." He followed her slowly.

Katarina looked at him and smiled. "Yeah, same with me. I usually sleep in the open." she sighed. "Well, suit yourself, it isn't like I am going to make you sleep," she said with a grin.
She headed towards a wood, and walked through aways. She stopped in a place, that was mostly brush and had grass and plants enough to make it comfortable. "You might feel more safe here, if you want." she offered, snuggling down. She placed her head between her paws and curled her tail about her hinds. She then slowly, closed her lids and drifted to a slumber.

Feral, too, lay down, but kept one silver orb wide open. He had been completely certain that he had heard something behind them as they were walking.

Katarina snoozed, though she didn't snore. Her breathing was regular and every once in a while, her tail would wag or her ear twitch, sending a fly buzzing.
She suddenly awoke, looking around. Her ears stood strait up on her head, listening, as it turned so her orbs could cover the terra. Her lay lifelessly on the ground, as if it were merely a dead branch, and her nose sniffed the air. "Was I dreaming? Is it just me, or is someone, besides us here?" she whispered as quiet as a mouse, to Feral, her senses all still alert.

"That's what I've been trying to tell you," Feral replied wearily.

She looked at him, and frowned but then returned to looking around. "Well, should we just stay here or get our butts moving. Look, I have an idea, but I dunno." she whispered. She stood on her feet, gazing about.
She looked at Feral for a moment, "Can I do this?" she asked, "I mean, can I yell, 'Come out whoever you are and quite hiding,' or do you want to do it?" she asked.

The brush was pushed aside as a slender male hellhound approached. His fur was of the purest white, and his orbs were such a pale grey that they, too, appeared white. Along his back were sharp, steel-blue spines. A large female raven was perched on his shoulder, and it cawed harshly at them.

Katarina wheeled around and looked at it with a frown. She hadn't quite taken note of him yet, and was acting as if she were someone more powerful than he, though she wasn't. She had only just now recieved an amulet, and it had yet no spirits, swirling inside it.
"What do you want?" she asked firmly. She looked at Feral to see what he was doing and then her eyes fell again on the hellhound. She now looked over him, eyeing him carefully and then realized that she should probably not mess with him. She sighed, wishing she did have an element. Her parents had said she was to have the Earthen Element, but she had never been sure. She was in a wood now. She sighed and then turned her focus to the hellhound.

((It's hellhound. With an H.))
The male hellhound raised his head, staring at Katarina. "I am merely hunting," he said in a low, powerful voice. "But these lands are declining. There is little prey to be found anymore. The herds have moved on."
Feral growled softly. He did not trust this hellhound, and he knew that he would make easy prey for the much larger beast. He glanced at Katarina nervously.

((What are you talking about??))
Katarina frowned, more. "So, what, you were going to eat us," she let out a scowl but she had heard of hellhounds eating wolves. She glanced at Feral and got the nervousness in his eyes. She looked at him, telling him to calm down, but be ready for anything, before her eyes again fell on the monster. "Well, if you are, I don't think you will be having much luck," she added.

((Andorra's a hellhound, not a hellbound.))
"No," the hellhound said, a disgusted look on his face. "I was only hoping that you would lead us to a kill." The raven on his shoulder fluttered her wings, cawing. "I don't eat wolves."
"I don't believe you," Feral told the hellhound, his small white fangs showing in a threatening snarl. "You hellhounds are known for treachery and betrayal."

((Okay, I fixed it ^^))
Katarina glared at him but sighed. "I agree with you, Feral, you hell anythings are known for such. Yes, we can lead you to food, but on one condition. That you walk ahead of us, and don't attack." she said firmly.
She was going to show them her own spot, that she had done all her hunting in. It had always served her well, even in times when the rest of the land was under famine. She would lent this hellhound some trust, but only until he proved her wrong.
She looked at Feral, and whispered in his ear. "I think we can give him some trust, just at least for now, until he can prove different," she muttered, motioning for the hellhound to take his lead.

"Whatever..." Andorra raised his head momentarily to whisper into the raven's ear, and then walked out in front of the two. The raven turned on his shoulder to face backwards. Andorra wasn't too worried about the fox, but that wolfess could be more than a match for him should she choose to attack him.
Feral gave an irritable growl, but he nodded reluctantly. "Alright," he said. "But if he attacks, kill him!"

Katarina glared at the crow and listened to Feral. "What am I, a body guard? I already told you, I am only a Toushi with a brand new amulet, what possible damage could I do to him anyways. Not only that but he has a crow." she scowled, but trotted along.
She told him different ways to go and what to do. They soon reached the wood, where she and Feral had eaten before. She grinned as she breathed in all the familiar smells around her. They soon reached the clearing, where again the herd was grazing and relaxing.
