Antarctica smiled and nodded at Phantom's comment about the land's size. "Indeed, it is. But you'll get used to it. I can assure you it provides plenty for all those in it! Whether it be food, space, or entertainment."
Phantom asked when they would be heading back. "Oh, we won't be heading back to the dens that soon! There's still a lot to see. If you don't wish to continue in the forest, we can move on to the Doresu Fields. There's a lot more space to run around and play." She paused. It seemed it was then Mal took off with his light and she sat back, letting out a laugh and wagging her tail. "Well, it seems my point about entertainment is proven."
If they decided they did in fact want to go to the Fields, the wolfess would turn and begin making her way through the forest with ease. She knew it rather well. "Come on then, you two.. off to the Fields!" She trotted along at a steady pace, and soon the trees and foliage began to thin once again, giving way to a great expanse of grasses and wildflowers, waving back and forth in the open breeze as if welcoming them to move among them.
If they did not but rather wished to explore the forest a bit longer, she would continue through the trees, soon coming to a bubbling creek with various pebbles glistening on the bottom and tadpoles swimming. She would then dip her head for a drink, indicating the others could as well if they wished.

Phantom looked down at the bracelet that Mal had "so kindly" placed upon her wrist, to make sure she won't get lost." I anyone gets lost it'll be you, no doubt." Phantom teases. She looked at Antarctica, "Plus i'll stay by her side to make sure I don't." Phantom didn't know if they could understand what she had said, since she was laughing so hard. Somehow, her and Mal reminded her of two siblings quarreling."Well I don't care where we end up, just as long as "little Male" here won't get hurt."Phantom teased once again. She looked at the moon to howl, but stopped because she heard some rustling. She knew it wasn't a rabbit, the noise was different. She looked in the direction of the bush, she scented the air, but couldn't find any odd scents. She stood up and cocked her head to the side, then backed up not knowing what the creature may be. Was it prey that she had never seen before? No, it was much to large, maybe it was a dear, or other large animal? No, they wouldn't come this close to them with the noise they were making.
Phantom stood there waiting for the strange, mysterious creature to emerge.

Mal bounds around for a few moments before realizing Phantom is no longer following him. He stops and looks back, concerned. Where did she go? he thinks. He backtracks, trying to look for the glow, as well as trying to feel his encapsulated magic. He bottles the magic so it can run on it's own without him needing to sustain it. Naturally, it runs out, but very very slowly. Or quickly, depending on what it is powering, and how much is stored. Either way, as long as it still exists, he should be able to feel his own magic when he gets nearby.
When he suddenly feels it, he breathes a sigh of relief. He bounds up to her and says, "Hey, what's up slowp--" He stops suddenly when he notices the rustling bushes, and stands next to her in a defensive position, willing to protect her at all costs, even though she was from another pack. As his head is held low, the rod about his neck shifts marginally from a light grey-blue towards a slightly redder hue, hardly noticeable at the moment. It will be a lot more prominent if whatever is on the other side of the brush is hostile. For the moment, though, Maelathorta stands by Phantom, ready to protect her.

Antarctica watched as Mal bounded off and disappeared and giggled at Phantom's response. Soon, Mal reappeared, about to tease Phantom once again when the bushes started rustling and Antarctica tensed, becoming focused. If it had been a friend, he or she would have revealed his or her presence by then. No, it must be some other wild animal.
Moments later, a large bear emerged, a snarl on its face and its black eyes glimmering. It gave a low growl, seeming to challenge the trio. Antarctica thought over the situation in an instant. She felt having a fight with a bear was not the smartest thing to do at this moment, no matter what the circumstances were!
She closed her eyes, drawing moisture from the air and encompassing the bear. When her eyes opened, they were a pale glow and the water which had accumulated froze, rendering the bear immobile. "Quickly, let us leave this place. It will only remain this way for a brief period of time and we should be gone when it can move again."
With that, she gestured toward an unseen path, clearly she knew it and began to move in that direction. She would then lead them to the Doresu Fields not too far away.
OoC: Hey Wolfie, I dunno if you had something in particular in mind already or if I ruined it DX I just sorta had an idea and went with it lol if you want me to change my post just let me know so we can do whatever it is you had in mind...

No, you didn't ruin it XD I was actually hoping that you or Niphanos would come up with something XD
The next thing she knew Mal was in front of her, ready to protect her. Phantom lowered her ears and crouched down behind Mal as a huge bear emerged. She couldn't remember when, but her and her brother had encountered a bear once. She shooke her head to clear her mind of any thoughts so she could find a way to escape safely, hopefully with Mal and Antarctica at her side. Before she knew it Antarctica drew moisture in the air, creating a barrier around the bear. She then pointed in a direction, she didn't care where it led , or if they got lost. At least they were safe. She followed Antarctica, hoping that Mal was following.
She looked behind her, not able bear not knowing if Mal was following. She lost her footing, then tripped on a tree root that emerged out of the ground. She hit her head on a rock, making her unconscious. All she could hear was the bear growling and knocking small trees over. She layed there in a cloud of black darkness, not knowing if her or her new friends were going to survive.

((Ehn, don't worry about it. I've had odd, slow RP's turn out just fine. By the way, I like this almost sibling-like bond that seems to be developing between them. Usually, Mal sort of... ah, what's the word... he doesn't necessarily 'flirt', but he always appears to have some sort of 'interest' in all of the females he meets. Phantom is definitely different.))
Mal stood before the bear, his anger appearing in the rod on his neck, turning it a deep crimson. Growling, he knows he cannot take on the bear alone. Just then, the bear suddenly gets foggy, then freezes in a solid mass of ice. Unable to relinquish my anger, I aggressively dash off in the direction the other two go, them being just out of sight. He was going so fast, and was so upset that he didn't see Phantom lying on the ground in time to keep from tripping on her. Luckily, he thought quickly and rolls, making the landing hurt less, except for the fact that he rolled into a tree and hit his right shoulder. He gets up and goes back over to Phantom as quickly as his injured shoulder would allow. When he saw her eyes were closed and not moving, the rod about his neck instantaneously shifted to a dark blue, for concern. He nudges her with his nose, occasionally pushing hard enough to lift her slightly, then he sniffs a spot on her fur, and determines she's not dead... but he should probably still get the healer.
He began searching around, looking for the healer, but to no avail. She was nowhere to be seen. Torn between leaving Phantom here to help her and just trying to help her himself, he finally decides on a course of action to take. He places a follow ball above her head, but doesn't encapsulate its magic. This is so he constantly has connection with it. Then he takes off to find the healer, following any broken plants. The Writer is too out of it to write anymore. You should simply carry on.
((On another note, I will be trying to shift perspectives, I am apparently using third-person present-tense. The most common is third-person past-tense, and it is required on one of the RPs I am joining. I might as well get some practice. Please excuse any discrepancies and/or misplaced words. Also, I was asleep while I typed much of this, so sorry if it's... weird.))

OoC: Sorry it's taken me so long to respond...
iC:
She continued to run, but soon, she realized she hadn't noticed either of her companions in a while. She looked behind her, seeing they were not present. She growled to herself, scolding herself for not paying more attention. Perhaps her age was getting to her, she thought with a bit of amusment.
Turning back, she dashed through the brush, soon catching site of Maelathorta running toward her. She slowed so they would not collide, her breath coming to her. "Mal, is everything alright?" she questioned hastily, continuing to move the opposite direction, looking for Phantom.
Once they found her, she could focus on anything that needed to be done. She waited for Mal and whatever his response would be...

((I may not post for a little while, I can't seem to RP half of my characters right... I'm rephrasing the response I cut out of the above post.))
Mal stops when he gets to the healer. Antarctica, I have to remember her name. He then says, "Phantom fell down! She's just laying there, and I don't know if she's... if she's hurt real bad or not!" He then quickly takes her back to Phantom, assuming she'd follow.

OoC: Okay, understandable =)
iC:
Antarctica nodded, following after him, worried. It was soon they came upon the new member to the pack, lying on the forest floor unconscious. Antarctica looked around, sniffing at the air. They had time, still. She didn't know if the bear would follow after their scent in the brush, or would go on its way. She hoped it would be the latter.
She looked over Phantom's form, and from observing a couple of things in the area, and from what Mal had told her, deducted what had happened. She would probably have a bump on her head and a few bruises, but when she awoke, Phantom would probably be okay. At least, Phantom hoped she wouldn't have any broken bones. There was no way to tell though until Phantom awoke and could say so.
She glanced at Mal. Perhaps it had been her imagination, but she could've sworn he was tendering one side. Maybe he wasn't, but she had a feeling Phantom wasn't the only one who was injured. She released a gentle sigh. Time wasn't something they had, but she supposed they would have to make it.
"Maelathorta... are you injured as well?" She glanced at him briefly. "If so, I shall focus on you... then would you help me carry her until we get to safety?"
If Mal revealed he was, in fact, injured, she would turn her focus on his shoulder, her eyes gaining a pale glow. The same glow would appear very faintly about the injury and Mal would perhaps feel a light tingling as she restored his flesh to health. The whole process would take a few minutes and all of a sudden the glow would be gone.
If, however, Mal denied he had any injuries, she would nod, albeit disbelieving him, and make about lifting Phantom for them to transport her and attempt to carry her away. If they were successful, it would be a bit difficult, but she would once again lead them toward the Doresu Fields.

((Heheh, I'll utilize your little "This-or-that" in my next post, he just wants to make sure Phantom's alright first.))
Mal watched as the healer... Antarctica was her name, checked on Phantom. He was worried about her, and visibly so, the rod about his neck shifting colors freely with his emotions. Somewhat startled when Antarctica asked about his shoulder, his eyes darted around slightly for a moment before he said, "Ahh.. uh, nevermind that, is she okay?" He glanced worriedly past Antarctica at Phantom.

As Mal didn't really answer her question, but rather changed the subject, she took that to mean he was hardly concerned about his own injuries at the moment. How honerable... it reminded her of her mate... but she pushed that from her mind. She nodded in response to Maelathorta. "She will be. But we must get her to safety."
After a bit of time, once they reached the Doresu Fields, Antarctica would try and gently lower Phantom to the tall grasses and wildflowers, with Maelathorta's help. Once there, she would attempt to heal any injuries to Phantom's head including bruises and the like, her eyes beginning to glow a pale blue and the same glow surrounding Phantom's head until it slowly vanished. After this, it would just take time before Phantom would awake.
Antarctica glanced at the forest now and then, gradually thinking more and more that the bear probably would not have followed them once it came out of its frozen state. She hoped not, anyway. She turned her attention toward Mal, asking him about his injury once again. She was finding she was getting tired with so much magic used in such a short period of time, but she was sure she could heal one last thing before resting a bit for a while.

((Okay, sorry, I'm back. I was dealing with some mild depression, and I couldn't RP right. Again. I'm better now! As far as Mal's actions, Wolfie here said it perfectly, they're like siblings. In his mind, at least. :P))
Mal helps take Phantom to the field before falling over next to her, exhausted. "Actually, yeah... I think I hurt my shoulder when I saw her," he said. He watched Antarctica, casually at first, with growing surprise, as her eyes softly glowed an ethereal blue, almost the same shade as the rod about his neck, but maybe a little more blue. Then his shoulder began feeling... odd, then better. Still tired, and using the last of his energy, he gets up and tries it out. He lifts his paw and moves it around, trying to work his shoulder. "Wow, thanks, Antarctica!" he says. Now quite tired, he lays down up against Phantom to rest, waiting for her to awaken.

(( Welcome back Niphanos, glad to have you back. Sorry if my posts are a little odd. I am trying to write a story. it's based on an anime that I watched. It's kinda hard.))
Phantom stirred as she felt a tickle on her nose. She awakened with a sneeze. She looked up to see that a flower had been on the tip if her nose. She looked around quite shocked at where she was. She looked behind her to find, Mal sleeping next to her. Close enough for their fur to touch. She realized that she had some dirt on her. She got up and stretched before shaking the dirt off of her. She shook her body from tail to head. Once she began to shake her head, a headache formed. she snorted in annoyance, then layed back down, her head resting on her paws. She was thirsty but wasn't in the mood for her headache to get worse. She noticed Antarctica sitting on the other side of Mal, but said nothing.

Antarctica smiled when Maelathorta thanked him, dipping her head slightly. "You're welcome." She was glad to have been able to help. Now, of course, the body just needed time to rest and do some natural healing of its own. As did she. Since he took a nap, she also curled up and took a nap for a time.
When Phantom stirred, she awoke also. Call it mother's intuition, or many other things. Perhaps it was from when she had pups of her own. But she was very aware of things, and thus movement easily awoke her, usually. She felt much more refreshed after her nap, her energy obviously restored. Her ears shifted at the sound of Phantom's snort and she looked at her a moment.
"Welcome back to consciousness, Phantom," she said with a friendly smile. "Is everything okay?" She paused... "How do you feel?"
